Marianne Design Vintage Christmas…

Merry Christmas to you!  Marianne Design has some lovely vintage prints you can buy, cut and use on your creations.  So pretty! (sorry, I can’t find a place to link to them in the US)  I used some new dies too… I’ll link them all below.  Merry Christmas sentiment is from Printworks,  tags and tag sentiments from Stampin Up.  Ribbon is by May Arts.  Sewing machine stitching and then to get the thread to match the paper, I used a Copic Sketch marker, the chisel end to go over the stitching to make it match the paper better.  The paper is an older line from Cosmo Cricket,  Winter Wonderland.  I have a bunch of it… ugh… used to over buy when I liked something and now I have way too much!  So you’ll be seeing  it again… lol    I really like it but I sure can’t get the colors to show up right in the pictures!  giving up and just posting them!

Beautiful dies to work with.. cut so well… take a look and enjoy creating your Christmas cards!  Thanks for stopping by!

CAS Fall card…

Back today with a CAS card I forgot to post last month!  I CASED it from this gal’s blog… HERE.  Memory Box branch die… EK Success border and small punches for the leaves and an Impression Obsession sentiment.  Neenah Super Smooth Classic Crest 80# Natural white card-stock for the card base.  Oh, the sentiment is stamped with Olypia Green Versafine ink.

Such a pretty time of year… I can see a maple tree from where I’m sitting.  Glorious Autumn beauty!  Thanks for stopping by!

Joy, Joy, Joy…

I do love stamp edge/postal stamping kinds of things!  In 1998 when I went to the first Art Continuum, I had a stamp made before I left that looks like a postal cancellation and it says “Pam going postal”.  We all had books and went around collecting each other’s stamp images!  I still love my stamp!  In the center of the circle part, I stamp a red heart.  So fun!

I saw Loll’s card on her blog, HERE and knew I wanted to CASE it and she said I could!  Thanks Loll!

I’ll link below to the products I used.  The stamp square is an old McGill punch and I couldn’t find it anywhere to link to,  so I’ll give you some other options.  It was really hard to punch through my Bazzill card-stock anyway. ugh!   I LOVE this Cuttlebug die set of stamps… I own it and it’s great!  The square die in the set, is the same size as the punch I used.  I used the circle die on this ATC HERE.  Then I own the Spellbinders stamp edge dies and use them too.  HERE is a card I used a larger stamp square from the nestabilities set on… cool.

The alphabet die set I used is from Quickutz called Tangerine.  I googled and found it HERE.  It’s a discontinued set so it surprised me that it showed up!

Couldn’t find the holly punch I used to link up to either… sorry about that.  I own these other two that I linked to below and they will work and look great too!  That’s what I get for grabbing without looking first!

Use your Perfect Paper Layering Tools to create even spaces between your shapes.  Watch the video HERE

I HAVE to tell you about my latest NEW tool!!!  LOVE!  The NEW MINI Martha Stewart SCORE BOARD!  It’s awesome!  The coolest way to make envelopes on the back side!!!  So lightweight and easy to use and scores like a dream and the score tool is WAY better and even hooks on the front!  The price… well… it’s awesome too!  Here’s the description…

MARTHA STEWART CRAFTS-Mini Score Board. Score flawless crisp lines in seconds! Perfect for card makers; it will accommodate papers up to 8 inches wide with scoring grooves spaced at 1/8 inch increments. An easy-to-use guide is printed on the back surface with standard card sizes and grooves for creating matching sized envelopes. So good to be back blogging!  : )  I just mailed off 20 cards to Printworks Friday afternoon!  Wow!  I designed 8 cards for them and then I’m making multiples for store sample boards… so… if you are in Orlando, FL the first weekend of October for the wholesale trade show…check out the first four designs I sent!

Martha Stewart punches…

I was just looking at my blog stats and you know how it is… one place leads to another on the internet!  So glad I found this though!  I have this punch (still unopened). They used it for this paper chain and I love how it looks!  It’s going to have to come out of the package now!

This picture is from HERE.  I doubt that I ever make paper chains but if you click on the link you’ll see how this looks flat and how other punches look too!  Fun!  This site also tells you what size to cut your card-stock.  I see potential for cards!

I wonder if EK Success or Martha Stewart came out with any new punches at CHA?  Such a weakness! lol

I’ll be back on Friday with a Magnolia card for Tilda’s Town!

Our daughter and new grandson are doing well!  Won’t be long and they’ll be home!  YEA!

ttul!

Sweet November Patriotic Betsy…

Rah, Rah, Rah!   It’s daytime,  so I made pinwheels instead of keeping with sparklers, for Sweet November Patriotic Pixie Betsy!  I ❤ them! I used a 5/8 inch square punch to punch the double sided pattern paper… poked a hole in the center of the square… cut up toward the hole from each corner… then folded one tip from each corner up to meet the center hole.  When I put in the teeny 1/16th in brads,  I caught those tips and kept them under the brad.

It’s June Release Tuesday Review on the All That Scraps Blog today, HERE.  If you want to see lot of fabulous designing… click over!  You won’t be disappointed!

Betsy is inked with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Hammermill Color Copy 80# Cover card-stock,  cut out and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  Hair – E50, 30, 23, 25, 27, 29,  Skin – E0000, 000, 00, 21, Cheeks – R20 diluted with R00, Red – R24, 27, 29, 59,  Skirt – B91, 93, 95, 97, 99.

I used CC Designs Butterflies Postage set (images stamped with Pumice Stone Distress ink), It’s Your Birthday Sentiment set and Beach sentiments set (stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink).  I did use my Stamp a ma jig to position the sentiments.

The pattern paper is from K & Company. One of their little pads they make and say they’re for matting photos. I’ve had it for a couple years though… sorry… it’s a good one!  I was sure tickled to find it stashed away here!  lol  Edges all inked with Walnut Stain Distress ink and the ink blending tool.  I found an Americana 12×12 paper pad from K & Company online… linked below… not the same thing but might give the older style look…

The little clouds are from the smallest Fiskars cloud punch series… so cute! (the smallest I could find says medium)  I colored them a little with some Warm gray copics…  W0, 1, 3.

The grass is CC Designs Cutters Grass border die!  oh,  I LOVE this die!  I crimped it too… love this little crimper! hehe… sorry gals…JK! lol   I gave it some inking with Peeled Paint Distress ink and the Ink Blending tool.

I used the Perfect Layers 1/8th in. tool to cut the red layer.

Card base is 5 x 7, cut from an 8.5 x 11 sheet of kraft card-stock.  Scored with a Martha Stewart score board.
