Just to make you smile! A super cute new kit from poppystamps! Whittle Racing Giraffe! I didn’t use the race car yet but I think it’d be so cute for a new driver or one that just got their drivers license!

I went with one I could use for a graduate or anyone on their way up the ladder! There are several sentiments included in this cute kit! All so fun!

I die cut, colored and inked the cuts. So easy with the lines that impress when you cut guiding you where to color!

Then I chose some pattern papers from the Memory Box Anemone Grove 6×6 paper pad, one for the sky and one for the grass, tore the edge on the grass…. paper piecing the background so to speak! lol

I like it! the little flowers in the green piece make me think of dandelions or clover!

This is a mini slimline size card. 3 ⅛ in. 6 in.

Wow! What a busy Spring it’s been! Are you finding that too?

Events with Grandchildren that we love doing. A wedding! Last weekend our oldest grandson was in a bike race in Burlington, IA! That was mind blowing! I cannot believe how fast they can ride those bikes! One of my sisters passed away last Thursday. Sad. I’m 7th of 8 children so three have passed now. So instead of weddings being the cause of family reunions, now it’s funerals. Not near as fun!

We’re enjoying being outside more for sure! Hope all is well for you and you’re keeping up with cardmaking! hoho!

poppystamps Nordic Flower Pots and Stems with Nordic Flower Heads Card…

I’m off on this color scheme again! Such a terra cotta pot girl! lol Poppystamps Nordic series for Spring was fun to create with. I used some scraps and the plaid from a previous release to make this A2 size card.

Nordic Flower Pots and Stems die, Nordic Flower Heads die and Nordic Bird Bunch die, all from poppystamps.

It’s hard to see in my photos but I die cut the Memory Box Pinpoint Leaf Plate in the kraft rectangle panel. You can see it much better holding it in your hand!

I used the Happy Birthday in the poppystamps Birthday Banners stamp and die set.

The plaid strip is from the Memory Box 6×6 Anemone Plaid paper pad.

The kraft cardstock is from Hobby Lobby and the white cardbase is Neenah.

I inked everything with a little Gathered Twigs Distress ink and a mini ink blending tool. A little Copic coloring on some of the floral pieces.

The Nordic Flower Heads and Bird Bunch dies have a lot of options! Very fun… I went a little country but I’m anxious to see what everyone else does with them!

I’m a little sidetracked right now. I’ve been making bread again but just a couple weeks ago started sourdough! Any bread bakers out there that read my blog? hehe It’s fun and yummy! I want to try English Muffins and Bagels!

poppystamps Corner Shoppe Pop Up Easel Set Card…

Hi cardmakers and friends! poppystamps has created another easel card design so we can make interactive cards easily! The Corner Shoppe Set is so cute and creates dimension sure to thrill the receiver! I went ahead and made it a birthday card with the New poppystamps Birthday Banners set too!

I think the birthday message is loud and clear! lol Light a Candle banner acts as a stopper….doesn’t take much to make it stand upright.

I just used cardstock from the new Memory Box cardstock pads, I’ll link below. I used a few Distress ink pads to edge the pieces because I just like how that looks sometimes.

I used the super thin mounting tape that I love so well and always link to. The little bit of lift is great but still mails easily for one postage stamp.

For the flowers and greenery in the window box I used the NEW poppystamps Flower and Leaf Sprinkles die. I thought they fit perfectly!

There are some other new dies that coordinate with this release also. So fun for Spring but would easily work into Summer, Fall and even Winter!

Here’s how it fits into an A2 envelope. I would send it in an A6 envelope myself because I like the cards to have a little wiggle room so the corners don’t get a little crinkled.

Birch Press Design Cosmos, Lush Leaves and Wiegela Leaf Tag…

Hi everyone! A BIG tag for today’s post! Super fun shower for our grandson’s new wife Saturday morning!

She loves to garden so a few of us had fun gifting her gifts for that!

For some reason my camera didn’t blurr out the background for me on this picture so I tried to edit it out. Sorry it’s so bad! This is a dump garden wagon…she loves it! I picked up some plants too and one is an Iceland Poppy. I had to purchase it for her because they honeymooned in Iceland! So fun!

Memory Box Hippity Hoppity Bunny Card (Masterpiece)!

Hi everyone! Cute card warning and yes I’m calling it a masterpiece because I hung all the eggs in the trees! A work of heart/art! lol

I had fun but I could’ve made another card in the time it took… this might stay at my house on the mantel! lol

This is such a neat, whimsical rabbit! He’d be cute dancing around in a carrot garden too!

I cut two rows of MB Prairie Grass, mounted the top row with the thin mounting tape I love…

Die cut the New Berry Branches and Leaves and made them trees. I used the eggs from the NEW Hippity Hoppity Bunny die and colored them with Copics! I added the lines to the basket in pencil with a ruler and then went over them with a stylus.

I took the straight sentiments from the NEW poppystamps Spring Banners stamp set and mounted them in the MISTI to stamp on the curve with Distress Archival Peeled Paint ink pad.

I used the Happy Easter and the included die from the same sentiment set and mounted it with the thin mounting tape also.

A little Copic and color pencil to enhance the bunny/whiskars and oh Gathered Twigs and the mini ink blending tool for the white parts of his body.

I have some more Easter dies to get made up so I’ll be back soon I hope! I can’t take as long on the next cards! lol
