Birch Press Design Prime Peony Duo Contour Layers Card…

Hi everyone!  This week has zoomed by me! But it’s Peony time of year and a perfect time to showcase this beautiful new die from Birch Press Design.

I watercolored these blooms with the newest set of Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens Set A. Die Cut with Strathmore watercolor Brown pad.

Then I added a frame from the poppystamps Scalloped Stitch Frames die set.

I ink blended an A2 size panel of Strathmore Best Mixed Media cardstock (the brown pad).  Wow it blends nice.  I used Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide for the first time! and Peacock Feathers. I still use the mini round ink blending foams a lot and that’s what I used here.

Hugs is a new hot foil plate and die set from Birch Press Design also.  Hugs Sugar Script is the name of it.

I used silver hot foil and Bazzill Card Shoppe Robin’s Egg for Hugs.

I glued everything flat except for hugs.  It has thin mounting tape on the ends. Starlitstudio has it in stock!  I’ll link below!

Thank you for stopping by today!  I appreciate it and hope you have a lovely weekend.  The weather has been amazing here this week! YAY!

Simon Says Stamp Arched Greens and SALE!

Back again today with a NEW stamp from the latest Simon Says Stamp release

I received the rubber stamp Arched Greens to create with.  The center Arch section is removable!

I stamped it all in the MISTI on Canson XL watercolor paper with regular Distress inks.  I inked up the stamp and spritzed it and stamped it.  I used two different greens and the new prize ribbon blue.

It needed some flowers so I got out the NEW Birch Press Design Wispy Blooms Contour Layers die set.  I die cut in the same watercolor paper and smooshed the cuts into Worn Lipstick Distress Ink that I’d spritzed with water.

I die cut the center out with the Memory Box Nested Globes die… it was a little short so I had to use the mat to keep it from cutting the bottom straight line, then readjust the die to lengthen the cut. SSS does have a die set that coordinates with this stamp!

The sentiment is a new poppystamps hot foil plate and die set with several sentiments.  I’ll link it below too.

poppystamps Brilliant Geraniums Flower Set Easel Card…

Hi everyone! I haven’t purchased my red geraniums yet!  I need to get shopping!  Today’s card I brought out the poppystamps Woven Basket Pop Up Easel Set to plant my flowers in!

I die cut and edged all my pieces with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool.

I love this NEW poppystamps Brilliant Geraniums Flower Set! I used an old mouse pad and stylus to do a little flower shaping also.

Here’s a close up of the HELLO from the NEW poppystamps Birthday Wishes Poe Script Hot Foil Plate and Dies set.

I used Gold Hot Foil but I didn’t get a great picture that shows the goldness! lol

I backed the basket and used a strip on the base of a plaid from the Memory Box Woodsy Plaid 6×6 paper pad.

Memory Box Fairy Dewdrops for the flower centers…

Showing how it fits in an envelope.  I will use an A6 size when I mail this.  My flower is up to high for an A2.

It didn’t want to lay completely flat without me holding it down, but it does go completely flat.

I put the flowers together like they’re shown on the front of the package.  I put the easel card together just like it shows on the back of the package!  That helps so much to have pictures!

Everything is super green here!  I have ferns for the front porch, now I just need a couple red baskets for the back porch.  Let the watering begin!

Do any of you have Boston Ferns?  How do you water them?  Mine are always so full, it’s hard to get water to go in from the top, so I fill up a pail of water, take the fern down and sit the pot in the pail of water and let it soak up.  I’ve had really good luck with that in the past but I wonder if there’s a faster way?!

Thank you for stopping by and I’ll talk to you later!

poppystamps and Memory Box Flower Field Card…

Hi everyone!  Thinking ahead a little for some Mother’s Day inspiration.  I had fun ink blending a piece of bristol card and die cutting it with poppystamps Flower Field and Potpourri Flower dies!

I ink blended with Saltwater Taffy, Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink pads and TE Ink Blending Brushes.

The light really catches the gems and sparkles so beautifully!

I used the NEW poppystamps Flower Field Frame die to emboss a design on a white cardstock panel.

I die cut the NEW poppystamps Flower Field Tall Curve Border die from the ink blended card two times and three of the flowers from the NEW Potpourri Flower Set from the leftover scraps of the ink blended card.

I die cut MOM from the Memory Box Wooden Alpha die set.

I trimmed the white panel down and layered it with thin mounting tape to a white A2 cardbase.

I adhered all the die cuts with Tombow mono multi glue and added a white heat embossed sentiment from poppystamps Contempo Greetings stamp set with mounting tape.

Memory Box Fairy Jewels in Pastel added for the flower centers.  I love how it turned out!

Thank you for stopping by! May is coming for us in the midwest and there won’t be a shortage of flowers!

Birch Press Design Flower Cards…

A couple cards to share with you this week…unusual colors for me! Not sure but posting them anyway!  lol

Light pink and bright green!  Do they work?

I really like this plaid paper from the Memory Box Madras Plaid Blue and Violet 6×6 paper pad.

The flowers on this card are from the NEW Birch Press Design Eucalyptus Stem and Berries Contour Layers die set and the Tiny Tuft Flowers and LEaves Contour Layers die set.

Sentiment is Memory Box Just a Note Posh Script die cut in the NEW Memory Box Glossy Black cardstock and white cardstock.

Here I used Taylored Expressions Cupcake Pink cardstock and Bazzill Card Shoppe Easter Grass cardstock.

The flower and leaf in the corner are the NEW Birch Press Design Pimpernel Contour Layers die set.

I decided to use the NEW Memory Box Exquisite Leaf Frame die with it because the leaves are similar and I love this die anyway!  It’s so pretty!

The sentiment is from poppystamps Colorful Life stamp set and stamped with Taylored Expressions Cupcake Pink ink in the MISTI. It’s very subtle but I kinda like that for a change.

The berries are a bit bluer in real life…pretty sure it’s Taylored Expressions Cookie Monster cardstock and the flowers are Taylored Expressions Candy Corn cardstock.

Just a Note is a Mini Slimline card and the Wishing You strength card is an A2 size card. Both will mail for one forever postage stamp in the USA.

Thank you for coming to visit today!  More new stuff coming and I have some cute to share soon too!

Have a good cardmaking week or organizing week… I’ve been doing that too!  I went on a shopping spree!  oops!  If you ever get the chance to go to Cedar Rapids, IA, be sure to go to Scrapmania and tell Stacy, the owner I sent you!  I promise you, you will NOT be sorry you took the time to go there!
