Hi everyone! I haven’t purchased my red geraniums yet! I need to get shopping! Today’s card I brought out the poppystamps Woven Basket Pop Up Easel Set to plant my flowers in!
I die cut and edged all my pieces with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool.
I love this NEW poppystamps Brilliant Geraniums Flower Set! I used an old mouse pad and stylus to do a little flower shaping also.
Here’s a close up of the HELLO from the NEW poppystamps Birthday Wishes Poe Script Hot Foil Plate and Dies set.
I used Gold Hot Foil but I didn’t get a great picture that shows the goldness! lol
I backed the basket and used a strip on the base of a plaid from the Memory Box Woodsy Plaid 6×6 paper pad.
Memory Box Fairy Dewdrops for the flower centers…
Showing how it fits in an envelope. I will use an A6 size when I mail this. My flower is up to high for an A2.
It didn’t want to lay completely flat without me holding it down, but it does go completely flat.
I put the flowers together like they’re shown on the front of the package. I put the easel card together just like it shows on the back of the package! That helps so much to have pictures!

Everything is super green here! I have ferns for the front porch, now I just need a couple red baskets for the back porch. Let the watering begin!
Do any of you have Boston Ferns? How do you water them? Mine are always so full, it’s hard to get water to go in from the top, so I fill up a pail of water, take the fern down and sit the pot in the pail of water and let it soak up. I’ve had really good luck with that in the past but I wonder if there’s a faster way?!
Thank you for stopping by and I’ll talk to you later!
Here’s what I used to make this Easel card…

I agree…this is a WOW card for sure!
Love love love it all! The geraniums are on my wish list, sigh. As if I don’t have enough. The basket could be used over and over. Wow!
Love your geraniums so lovely. Putting your fern in a pail of water to soak it is perfect for the fern, this way it gets a good soaking. Got my planting done we had a good rain last night so that was perfect for the plants.
Wow Pam! This is awesome! I’ve never made an easel card. I’ve always wanted to try, but just never have. This is great! Thanks for sharing!
