Truth – You’re a friend like gnome other! Cardmakers just click!
I’m using the NEW Simon Says Stamp Mini Slimline Windows die today from the latest release, ‘All The Feels’….very fun to create three little scenes with the NEW My Favorite Things Spring Gnomes Stamp and die sets too!
I die cut the Windows die and backed it with Memory Box NEW Madras Plaid Blue and Violet 6×6 paper pad. Such gorgeous papers!
The gnome, flowers and grass are die cut in Copic coloring cardstock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. Accented with a white Sakura gel pen.
I stamped the sentiments with the Misti stamping tool. On the inside I stamped the ‘I carrot about you so much’ sentiment and added a carrot. ❤
Hope it makes you smile and think Spring!
In case you’re up for shopping…here’s the latest dealz from SSS…never know what you might find!
Hi everyone! Still catching up with birthday cards! This one was for our granddaughter Lilli! I couldn’t make it exactly like her shoes but I caught one of the patterns anyway! So cute!
Then the sweet daisies from Memory Box. Die cut in white and colored with Copics.
The paper I used for the shoes is an old pattern… really dates me… I think it was the first pattern paper company, Paper Patch…1995 ish! lol
Happy Birthday is from a Taylored Expressions Bold Brushstrokes stamp set that I use a lot for the teen ages. On the inside it says ‘you are totally awesome’ from the same set.
The detail in the High Top die is wonderful! The eyelets look real! So glad they brought this die back. I was able to snag an old set but now everyone can get it!
Thanks for clicking over today! Hope you enjoyed this cute card!
Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a birthday card for one of our grandsons that just turned 7 the end of September. He’s a tramp lovin’ boy for sure and can run like the wind!
I used some newer My Favorite Things stamps and dies… perfect for our grands who all love the tramp. I had a $25 gift certificate that I’d won on a challenge that helped me buy the awesome Interactive Up Down Die set! We’ll need to use it a lot!
I followed the MFT Design Team gal Laura’s instructional video on how to do it. I reinforced the mechanism by gluing 3 die cuts together though, it really needed the strength! I haven’t asked but I’m hoping it’s still working on the card! hehe
Super cute and easy to color! I was so happy with how it turned out! I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Ink and cut the images out with the Scan and Cut 350, then colored with Copic Sketch Markers. There are coordinating dies, I’ll link them up below.
Then it was just assemble like Laura’s video! You can find it on the MFT You Tube Channel. Here’s my video of it in action! Click HERE to see it BIG… much better on the You Tube channel.
Hi everyone! When this cute gal came out awhile back I knew I had to have her! We have one granddaughter that especially loves to swing and she loves cards too! I love it when the idea for personalizing a card comes easy!
Here’s my version of the swinging ‘whee’ girl in action…she’s cute! You can see it a lot better on You Tube, HERE.
I basically followed MFT’s video but I used dies I already owned. I added a tree trunk from the Memory Box Weeping Willow Tree Cutting Plate but I see it’s discontinued. There are other tree dies though that would work… like this one HERE. You could also hand cut one really easy. I haven’t seen anyone else using a tree trunk but I think it makes it look more realistic… when I first saw the cards made up, I thought weird, green clouds! lol
I used poppystamps Stitched Cloudline dies and die cut them and the grass borders from Taylored Expressions Granny Smith cardstock. I’m really happy with how they turned out!
I stamped her in the MISTI with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and die cut her then colored her with Copic Sketch Markers. Hair E21, E43, 44, 47, Skin E000, YR000, E00, E01, R20, Shirt E02, 04, Shorts B 91, 93, 95, 97, Shoes T1,3, 5, Swing seat and rope E20’s, white space between the swing ropes is colored with B21.
I stamped the sentiment from the set in the MISTI with Black Archival ink.
My cardbase is Gumball cardstock from Bazzill or Taylored Expressions has it also. Links below…
Thanks for ‘swinging’ by today! Holler if you have any questions!
Here’s some links to stuff I used to make this card…thank you so much for supporting me and my blog! I appreciate it!
I just had to grab the mirror silver cardstock for the ‘shades’. So funny… when you hold the card up, you can see yourself in them, just like the real thing!
Super easy card really… a Lawn Fawn Stitched sun die… the MFT Beach die set and the Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Rectangle die that I love to use!
I stamped in the MISTI with Ranger Archival black ink for the sentiments and Memento Tuxedo Black for the images I colored.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy shopping the new release HERE! Some fab stuff again! yay!
