Cottage Cutz Gnome Sleeping in Hammock Card…

Hi everyone!  Something a little different this week…a sleepyhead!  A cute sleepyhead though!

I die cut this Gnome Sleeping in Hammock from Cottage Cutz, all in Neenah 110# white cardstock and colored the pieces with Copic Sketch Markers.  Easy coloring and I didn’t have to find cardstock scraps to die cut all the little pieces.  The only drawback is, you aren’t helping to use up your scraps stash! ho ho

Thinking about a sentiment… I grabbed a new set from My Favorite Things and used one of the sentiments.  I’m not sure who I’ll send this to!  It’s using that naughty B word that Tim and I didn’t let the girls use when they were growing up!  It was find something to do or I’ll find you something to do! lol

I made a grass stencil with a Memory Box Grass die.  Using a TE ink blending brush and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink, I did the grass.

Using a My Favorite Things cloud stencil, a TE ink blending brush and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink, I did the sky.

This is an A2 size card….blank on the inside so far!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope this little guy made you smile!

  1. Oh Pam-he is sooooooo cute!! I am not normally a gnome fan-but these new ones are so cute!! I have gotten several from Whimsy! I hope they stay around for a while-so easy to color!! I have not seen the die cuts yet!!! Oh no-I will have to order again-ha ha!! Hope you and your family are doing well. Spring will get here one of these days-and things always seem a little brighter!

  2. What an adorable card Pam, I love the scene you created! Beautiful coloring too, thanks for the inspiration!

  3. I get more behind every day, but sure not bored here with everything we’ve got going on. How adorable this is, Pam! I acquired a love of gnomes, bought stamps, and have only used one of them. Nope, not bored at all! Need less to do so I can color more! I love your card!

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
