Hi friends and fellow cardmakers! It’s time to hit the hearts! lol Looking through the never been used stash are some Nordic themed dies from poppystamps and some older Memory Box dies.

Basic die cutting…no extra inking even! Cut, layer and glue!

Memory Box Friendly Bird, Snowy Log and Eucalyptus Bouquet Card…

Hi everyone! Back to blogging! I’ve been making, posting a few things on instagram. If you don’t follow me there, check it out! I just posted the Christmas cards I received in my stories there and they’ll be up for the next 24 hours.

Die cutting and a stamped sentiment today….Winter is coming on strong these days! Brrrr

The gold branch paper is from the Yuletide Cheer pad, kraft cardstock spattered with white, black and walnut stain inks. I die cut an oval in the trimmed down 5 in. x 6 in. gold, branch paper. Then started building out from there.

I love the snowy log die! So much detail and that pretty white snow against the inky brown.

I die cut the bird in white and inked it with inky brushes. A little black gem for his eye.

I used a green cardstock from the Greenery paper pad for the leaves.

Winter Greetings sentiment is from the Holiday Wishes stamp set.

I like it! Lots of birds in the new releases from the Memory Box companies!

poppystamps Nordic Layered Ornament Metallic Card…

Hi everyone! My card fits in with the shiny brights category but it’s not old! lol

It seems like I make a metallic and black glossy card every Christmas season. I should make time to go back and link them!

This is just basic die cutting and gluing.

I love this new Little Bow and String die used with the new Nordic Layered Ornament.

Framed with the poppystamps Double Stitch Rectangle Frames largest die.

Merry and Bright is from the new set of Greeting Tabs ST017.

I finished the inside but you know what I’m going to say! ugh. Hurrying and forgot to take a picture! It’s a white cardbase and all I did was stamp the sentiment ‘may the season bring you Peace, Love, Joy from the Memory Box Be Merry clear stamp set.

I stamped it in the misti and I figured out that these stamps stamp the first time if I have a lightweight cardstock shim in the misti and then stamp! YAY! So much of stamping is like trying a new sewing machine! Every stamp set is different!

I ended with three of the gold fairy jewels from the Christmas set.

Memory Box Layered Festive Santa Card…

Hi everyone! Here we are…December 7th already! I can believe it! Time flies faster than Santa for sure! hoho

This turned out to be a really fun die/card to make!

Cut the pieces…lay them out…start gluing…surprisingly it didn’t take all that long!

I used the same colored cardstock for the layers but inked the darker with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and it worked great! I left the white layers all white.

Here’s a phone picture I left BIG in case you want to see detail better.

I started out by inking the Frosted Trees 3D Embossing Folder with Peacock Feathers and Prize Ribbon Oxide inks on the flat side of the folder, then running it through the Big Shot. It didn’t turn out perfect but I thought it looked like sky! Then I sprayed it with Frost and Sparkle sprays.

I used the two largest trees from the Slender Pine Trees die set. I glued everything flat on this card!

The Pretty Presents die set worked perfect for him! I cut from several colors, glued them up and used five of them… I love them sticking out of his bag!

I just tore a piece of white cardstock for the bottom snow.

Believe Enchanted Script for the sentiment! I love this type of die… None of that fussy gluing… piece it together and then glue the complete cut to the backer piece. done.

oh hohoho I forgot to take a picture of the inside! I finished it! I stamped Holly Jolly and Merry Christmas from the Be Merry stamp set! Then I glued one of the extra presents inside also.

Memory Box Stitchable Stocking and Mitten…

Hi everyone! Let the Christmas/Winter festivities begin! I hope to get our tree out soon!

Today I stitched up these NEW dies from Memory Box, keeping them simple!

They come with flower dies also but I just used the holly from the stocking set on both.

I’ve made some stockings in the past and mittens.

This post, I’ll just call the mitten a candy cane mitten! Fancy stitching!

This post, I left the stocking open at the top and added a candy cane, french knots on the berries, kinda retro!

So fun and such a sweet size (4 x 3 ish)…perfect on the tree or that extra special package for a special person! I think my photos make them look larger than they are IRL.
