New Birch Press Design and Memory Box…

Hi friends and cardmakers!  It’s that time of year!  So exciting!  Lots of Christmas coming your way from Memory Box, Birch Press Design and poppystamps!

I started by die cutting the NEW BPD Classic Poinsettia Contour Layers and gluing it together.  I used some of the my watercolor papers to die cut the poinsettia and foliage.

I followed a video by Jill from Penny Black to make the watercolored panels that I die cut and used for the panels.  Video HERE.

I used the NEW Memory Box Fringed, Scalloped Frame die for the vintage light brown panel.  I used the thin mounting tape that I love to adhere it to the red background panel.

I die cut foliage from two more NEW BPD dies, Holly Sprig Contour Layers and Tiny Berries and Leaves Contour Layers.

I love the holly, pine branches and sticks.  Although I’m not sure they’re supposed to be sticks! lol

I chose to use the NEW BPD Peace Love Joy Confection Script die for the sentiment on this card.  I love the fine line and I know you’re thinking ugh about gluing it but you don’t have to!  The way it die cuts, the fine script fits back into the panel and you can just put little pieces of tape on the back to hold it in place, then glue it to the shadow die cut.  Here’s a picture that might help you see what I mean.

On the inside I used the NEW Memory Box Holiday Wishes stamp set.  Lots of great sentiments in this set!  And it comes with two dies to cut out the Sending Warmest Wishes and North Pole stamps.

I cut out some extra holly leaves from the scraps of my watercolored papers, in case I needed them around the poinsettia.  I didn’t so I glued them on the inside with the sentiment.  I stamped in Archival Potting Soil ink.

I have plenty of photos this time so I’ll just stick them in here.

It’s no surprise that I started the Christmas cardmaking season with the Poinsettia and greenery.  I do love these colors and the vintage look!

This is an A2 size card…holler if you have any questions!  I’m sure I forgot something!

NEW Memory Box Little Fuchsia Flower Trio and Branch and Hello Breezy Script Card…

Hello cardmakers and friends!  This NEW release from Memory Box is taking me back a lot of years to when I was so in love with Fuchsias!  Now our daughters are!

They are so fancy! One of God’s truly amazing floral creations! Oh true everything God created is amazing! ❤

I love making clean and simple cards but they are challenging to take pictures of because the pictures never completely do the card justice!

This is such a sweet, delicate die and the sentiment is so neat!  I love this font/look!  I use the Zig Two Way Squeeze Roller Ball point glue pen to glue these.  Works great!  It’s also one time I use tweezers for placement!

I used the thin mounting tape I love so much, trimmed to fit on the back of the floral piece.

I die cut the hello mat three times and glued together so I wouldn’t need to use mounting tape behind.

I die cut the Fuchsia in Taylored Expressions cardstocks and inked with Distress ink pads.  I used single colors but different pressure to achieve the variation.  I’ll link what I used below.

The cardbase and Hello Breezy Script are Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock.

It’s an easy to mail A2 size card.

Memory Box Whimsical Gladiola and Fanciful Gladiola Stem Card…

Hi everyone!  A card full of sunshine today!  Not quite what I pictured in my mind but it is cheerful!

I die cut in Neenah Classic Crest Smooth cardstock and inked with Distress Inks.

I followed the picture on the front of the envelope for how to color.  It’s really cool how it works!  I inked the piece that is the darkest first…

Then ink the piece that is all green…

Then glue the green over the blue!

Next I inked lighter and lighter shades of the same blue on the petals and glued them on following the picture on the front of the envelope/package.

It’s not hard at all! The little pieces of green stem sticking off the stem are where you glue the petals on and they line up!

Same for the yellow flowers.

I used an old Memory Box postage rectangle to mat a panel of paper from the Glimmering Gladiola 6×6 pad.

Then another sheet of the same pad to coordinate on the cardbase.

Then, yet another piece to cut out the NEW Exquisite Butterflies that I only used one of.

I added the cent sign using the old Memory Box abc soup Alphabet Soup die the ‘c’ and the ‘l’.

Fuchsias are on trend again!  Check out the new Memory Box release!  That’s what we’ll be making up next!  You can see it here at Starlitstudio.net

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I appreciate it and thank you so much for the comments and encouraging words! I finally found where to change the comment section back to what it used to be!  YAY!  I wish they wouldn’t change things!

Spellbinders Stencil of the Month Club and Fresh Picked Angel Trumpets Card…

Hi everyone! New products from Spellbinders to share with you today!  The stencil of the month club is so fun!  You can find the details HERE

I used two Distress Oxide colors, Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio and ink blending brushes on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock.  I trimmed the finished panel down to A2 size.  I love it but then I pretty much covered it up! lol

This Fresh Picked Die Collection from Spellbinders is so fun too!

I die cut in color cardstock and then inked in the same two colors I used for the background.

Glued them together and mounted them on the stencil panel with the thin mounting tape I love.

I’m getting a new dishwasher as I’m writing this post.  eek!  I keep wondering how it’s going and wondering about the noises! lol  Excited to get a quiet dishwasher though!!!

I used the Spellbinders Let’s Celebrate Sentiments BetterPress plate and die set but I used it with Silver Hot foil!  Worked great!  So many sentiments and messages in this set from Yana!

I hope you enjoyed my card and take a look at these new products.

You can still sign up for the May Stencil of the month Club til the 27th! Details HERE.

I’ll link you to everything below.
