Here we are at countdown week and I’m just ‘elfing” away here! Lots of fun to create still!  eek! I wanted to share a couple things today though and hopefully be back with more!

I love making these Bridge Fold cards with the poppystamps or Memory Box frames on the front.

For this one, I used poppystamps Pine Needle Clearing die cut from Neenah 110# Solar White cardstock and inked with Peeled Paint Distress ink and an ink blending tool.

I die cut the Memory Box Small Winter Sled from the same white cardstock and colored it with Copics (E40’s, E07) and a silver gel pen. I die cut poppystamps Poinsettia Mini from the same white cardstock and colored the largest with Copic YG67 and the smaller two with Copic R46.

The fence is from the Memory Box Open Studio Fanciful Fences die set. Again die cut in the same white and I just left it white.

The house is poppystamps new Classic Cottage die, cut from the same white and colored with Copics too, E07, E47, E81, E83, T3 and T5.

Two snow hills cut with the Memory Box Stitched Curves die set. Same white cardstock.

In the very back you’ll see the new poppystamps Tree Trunks die.  I cut it in white also and colored it with Copics E44 and 47.

Then there is this super cute new Surprise Deer die, new from poppystamps too.  I die cut it from kraft cardstock and inked the edges with Distress ink Gathered Twigs and an ink blending too.  I added a few white spot with a white gel pen.

The tree trunks cut is mounted directly to the cardbase with strips of  thin mounting tape. The fence and cottage are mounted to a snow hill. The deer (legs) are glued directly to a snow hill. The pine needles cut is glued directly to the card base and the fence is mounted to the top with thin mounting tape foam.

This is an A2 size card and folds flat to mail… I make sure it fits through the ¼ inch slot the PO requires for one postage stamp.

I mail my A2 cards in an A6 size envelope though.  I just feel like it protects them better… postage is the same.

One more photo!  A tag I made with the new Memory Box Build a Snowman die.

I played around with this last week and now I can’t remember what ink I used for the background.  I’m sure it was Distress but not sure if it’s oxide or regular.  Pattern paper for the hat and scarf.  Nuvo drops for his ‘coal’ eyes, nose and buttons.  I had a terrible time with the eyes, whew, good thing they can be coal cuz this was the third time! lol

The tag is an Avery Elle set.. I don’t usually mix other companies with ps or MB but one of the granddaughters had extra cut and it was just laying there and I didn’t even think! 😀
