Festive Holiday Florals…Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek…

pam-sparks-holiday-florals-plaid

Welcome to Tuesday’s sneak peek for the Taylored Expressions October Release Week! My favorite time of the year to be making cards!

I’m featuring the NEW, lovely and festive Holiday Florals stamp and die sets. I also used the NEW Woodgrain Background stamp and NEW Plaid Embossing Folder. YAY! I love woodgrain! hehe

Using the Mini MISTI, I stamped the images from the Florals set with TE Premium Ink Pads and then added color to some with Zig Watercolor Brush Paint markers and some with Copic Sketch markers. That little extra…

Then I die cut them with the coordinating Floral die set.

The sentiment is from the In and Out Christmas stamp set. I embossed it with Gold embossing powder on a die cut vellum Stitched Banner Stacklets and added a sentiment on the inside from the same set.

I stamped the NEW Woodgrain Background Stamp in the regular size MISTI  with Toffee and Chocolate Truffle ink.  I inked the edges with Toffee ink, then die cut the woodgrain panel with Stitched Rectangle Stacklets dies to form a frame.

The Cherry Pop red card-stock is embossed with the NEW Plaid Embossing Folder.

I layered everything on to Buttercream Frosting card-stock and then a Sweet Basil card-stock A-2 size top folding card-base.  Gold sequins for the Poinsettia centers.

Memory Box Poinsettia Band and We Wish You Elegant Script…

pam-sparks-we-wish-you-elegant-script

Hi everyone! I wish you a merry Monday! haha  Really, it’s not so bad!  I had a lot of fun getting out the copics and clear embossing powder for this die cut!  Just cut in white and color it up!  Smoosh it with some Versamark ink and pour on the clear embossing powder.  I used regular for this, not detail/super fine.

Then the decision of what to do with it!  Sometimes I get stuck! Ended up pretty festive though and I really like it!

Now to keep using up all the embossing powder from the last 22 years! HELP! lol

Happy Little Stampers October Christmas Challenge – Embossing
hls-christmas-challenge-october-2016The next card is my once (or twice) a year black glossy card with Silver and Gold metallic cardstock too and yes, so far it’s been a poinsettia card.  HERE and HERE are some previous ones. Oh this one has red instead of silver…HERE.  It’s sure hard to find cards going back on a blog.  There are a lot of cards here! lol

This is the new Poinsettia Band die. There’s those Rectangle Layers dies again. Easy card but really pretty IRL.

poppystamps Ribbon Curl Ornament cards…

pam-sparks-riboon-curl-ornament-merry-bright

Hello! I hope it’s a Merry and Bright Friday where ever you are! No matter, my cards today will wake you right up!  Sparkle, sparkle!

Very simple card…dies cut in glitter card and mounted on a slightly glittered piece of Coordinations card-stock.

poppystamps Ribbon Curl Ornament die two ways…here I used it as a border. I  used a scrap of the gold glitter card to die cut another piece of the end for an ornament hanger.

The next card I used it as a hanging ornament.  Clipping off the lines and swirls on both sides leaves you with just a pretty ornament. Easy!

I die cut poppystamps Merry Christmas Script die out of adhesive glitter foam but that was challenging.  I think next time, I’ll just use the red glitter card-stock!  This American Crafts Glitter card-stock is so pretty!

I used the Memory Box Shaker Rectangle Frames set for the gold frame and the Studio Rectangle Layers set for the white background piece. The Caps and Hooks die to hang the ornament from the tail of the ‘y’.

I glued on Pretty Pink Posh Gold sequins because it just needed ‘somethin’!

That’s it from me today! Thanks for stopping by! Happy Fall y’all!

Memory Box Pine Branch Circle, poppystamps House in the Woods, Poinsettia Ribbon and Holiday Poinsettia…

pam-sparks-2-house-in-the-woods-pine-branch-circle-frosted

Welcome to this warm ‘frosted’ wintry scene! Think brown…hehe… the silhouette cut of the poppystamps House in the Woods is dark brown card-stock to match the new pattern paper collection I used here from Kaisercraft, ‘Frosted’.  American Crafts Glitter card-stock again, this time I used Charcoal.

I layered the Memory Box Pine Branch Circle die over the top this time but WOW, there are FIVE new circle dies that can work together layering up for beautiful Winter scene Holiday cards!  Besides the Pine Branch circle, there’s the Deer Family CircleTall Evergreen Circle, Countryside Circle and Tree Branch Circle

I love the poppystamps Poinsettia Ribbon too. I added the medium size cut and the center from the poppystamps Holiday Poinsettia on top of it.

Everything is cut from the ‘Frosted’ Paper collection except for the dark brown House in the Woods die. I embellished with the sentiment sticker from the paper collection too. A little Stardust stickles on the pine branches.

You can see the brown in this close up, too much sun but the color shows!

I will use an A-6 envelope to send this though because I wanted to leave the ribbon cut hanging off the sides this time.

Now, when I look at this photo, I’m thinking it would’ve been fun to have a little stickles on the poinsettia and sentiment banner too! Always thinking of something after the fact! lol

I ordered the new Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops to try as soon as they get here!

Memory Box Poinsettia Pillar and Radiant Frame cards…

pam-sparks-poinsettia-pillar-glitter

Hi everyone! I’ve been making cards…just not doing a good job of getting them posted! I finish one and get excited about something else laying there and have to make! lol  Then my camera setting got changed and I didn’t realize it and couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my pictures!  Finally saw the problem this a.m.! SCREAM!

I have posted a couple videos on instagram though…click the link in my side bar and you can see them even if you don’t have an account. Be sure to click the like button while you’re there!  It’s amazing how much that encourages a gal!  I love hearing from you if you can comment too!

My cards today are using the Memory Box Poinsettia Pillar, Radiant Frame dies and the poppystamps cottage platform and Swirled Love dies.  I cut the platform twice in one 4.25 x 5.5 piece of card-stock.  This was not what I intended to do with it at all! lol  I’ll still have to do the other soon! That’s what happens when you leave a piece laying around not finished!

American Crafts Glitter card-stock and Bazzill Gold Foil card-stock from Starlitstudio

pam-sparks-poinsettia-pillar

I die cut everything for this card from white card-stock and inked with Distress Ink pads and the ink blending tools. Festive Berries, Candied Apple, Peeled Paint, Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Fossilized Amber.

Wishing Script is a poppystamps die that coordinates with the poppystamps Christmas Greetings clear stamp setI die cut Wishing three times and glued them together with Tombow Mono Multi glue.

OHHHHH – don’t forget the enamel dots I made myself with the NEW Nuvo Drops and Ranger Enamel Accents!  Move over sequins! lol (I make the dots on scrap release paper from scor-tape, then glue them to my card when they’re dry, cuz I could easy mess up my card I’m sure!)

This last picture is of three cards I started and never finished with these same dies.  I thought I’d go ahead and show them so you could see more color schemes…the sky is the limit!

pam-sparks-poinsettia-pillar-trio

Thanks for stopping by again!  I’ll be back real soon because I have more and will be showing the ‘even more’ NEW Memory Box and poppystamps release!  So many beautiful dies!  TFL! and TTUL!
