Memory Box Enchanted Snowglobe Card…

Hi everyone! What a fun die set! This is the new Deep Edge Enchanted Snowglobe die set from Memory Box. You can easily cut fabric and other materials with these deep edge dies! Cool…I used to sew all the time but now I’m thankful for all these stitched dies so I can just have the ‘faux’ stitching! lol So, I didn’t go get any fabric out to make this! But..you sure could! or felt would be so cool too!

I had a watercolor background that didn’t get tossed (regular Distress Ink, Salty Ocean). I added some embossing powder white snowflakes with a Versamark pen and Ranger Detail embossing powder. Yes the dots are too big for the perspective of the house and trees but we’ll just use the artistic license this time. hehe

I love how the ‘s’ on the sentiment die makes the smoke coming from the chimney too!

The Copic Sketch Markers I used on the darker tall trees are G43 and 46, the short, wide trees are YG41 and 45. The door is R46, the window is Y18 and the roof is N3, 4, 5.

Simon Says Stamp Diecember Picture Book Secret Penguin Card…

Good Morning! It’s hard to believe we’ve hit Diecember already! It’s here with all the glory of the season! I am delighted to share a card I made with Simon Says Stamp’s new Picture Book Secret Penguin. He’s giving Santa some competition with his cuteness!

I used SSS Stitched Slopes and Hills to give him some snow to stand in. The sentiments are from SSS Sending and Wishing stamp set.

I couldn’t resist using these cute Doodlebug Candy Cane Shape Sprinkles with him, Doodlebug Heart Assortment Sprinkles, oh and that Jolee’s Boutique Santa Hat sticker.

The background is Distress Oxide inks, Salty Ocean and a little bit of Faded Jeans around the perimeter. Spattered it with water…sprayed a puddle into my hand, rub my hands together and then clap them over the piece to get the different size splotches. I did it a few times on this one.

Then I spattered it with Distress Picket Fence Acrylic Paint, diluted with a little water and a small liner paint brush.

Hi everyone! So thrilled to show you this SUPER cute new exclusive stamp set for Simon Says Stamp Cyber Week!

I had so much fun coloring these up with my Copic Sketch Markers…
Joseph – E43, 44, teeny bit of 47, beard E35
Mary – R56, 59, hair and hay Y23 , YR31
Skin – E000, 00, 01, 02
Jesus – B91, E23
Sheep – W01, 02, 05

I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the MISTI. Cut the images out with my Scan and Cut 350. (I was hurrying and didn’t set it up to cut out the little triangles. I cut those with an xacto knife.

I appreciate you stopping by! I’m hurrying again. We just installed a hardwood floor in our 2nd floor hallway…27 ft long. eek! So excited(except for all the sanding dust!) but of course we have to drive an hour and 40 minutes to buy the finish because we want it NOW! lol ugh. 😀 Our house is over 100 yrs old so this was quite challenging. It was still the original flooring! Black linoleum with a cream color inlay frame and a beautiful wool rug inside the frame. I hate to see the old go…I loved that rug but it was so worn in all the doorways, etc… it was time to part with it. sigh. Have a good rest of the week!

I stamped and colored this Christmas holly several times, cut them out and made a wreath with them.

and on the inside I stamped this wonderful sentiment…

I used a Memory Box Wrapped Stitched Rectangles die (HERE) on the red panel (20% off everyday at SLS) and a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die (HERE) on the green panel. (extra 10% off at Scrapbook.com today)

I used a Brother Scan and Cut CM350 to cut out the holly and word joy.

Memory Box Deep Edge Dies – Wonderland Snowman and Wintry Snowflakes…

Hi everyone! It was a really nice Thanksgiving here yesterday! Beautiful weather today too! Yay! A good day to be shopping. haha True my snow guy would melt here!

A little pattern paper play on my jolly marshmallow dude today. Otherwise he’s all card-stock and won’t melt!

The new Deep Edge dies will cut up to 6 layers of fabric at once if you like changing up your die cutting from paper! WOW! Super fun! Here’s a video by Dave, Memory Box owner showing how to use these dies with fabric and card-stock.

I used the largest rectangle from the new Wrapped Scalloped Rectangles die set too.

This cute snowman comes with a die that cuts 5 snowballs too… so I stuck one in his hand but you could make a fort if you wanted to! lol I used some Nuvo Fresh Snowfall to glam it up.

My next card is made with the new Wintry Snowflakes Deep Edge die set.

I die cut all the flakes and because they aren’t solid metal you can emboss them to get more dimension! I love that! So I just cut them in white and glued them (just in the centers) to a white card-base.

I wanted to keep it CAS looking so I just die cut the poppystamps Spectacular Joy die set in Silver and Gold metallic card-stock. Just enough dimension to embellish these flakes!

Some skinny gold card tied across the top and the front is done! A Clean and Simple card to wish you all the joys of the season!
