Taylored Expressions March Release Day…

Pam Sparks Nursery 2 ThursWelcome to my blog today! It’s March release day at Taylored Expressions! I’m featuring the NEW Build a Scene Nursery! So many cute details for creating adorable cards!  I used the NEW Build a Scene Window, Little Bits Rocking Horse and Welcome Baby Banner dies with it too. The sweet coordinating pattern papers are from the TE Double the Joy paper pack.

My next card is a lot of things I love!  Kraft card-base, lots of white, a little bit of black and super cute images and sentiment!
Pam Sparks Hippo Birdy
Today TE is releasing the Hippo Birdy die set to go with their previously released Hippo Birdy stamp set!  YAY!  Such a fun set!  I could’ve made several more cards to share, if only I didn’t need to sleep, eat, laundry etc! haha  The dies are so easy to use, just place over the stamped image, line up and run through the machine. They are outline dies! YAY!

My scene needed a little more, so I added some Wispy Grass cut in Peapod green TE card-stock and the small cloud from Build a Scene Cloud.  A little washi tape at the top and bottom and images colored with Zig Clean Color Brush watercolor markers.  Look at that ‘mug’!  Just makes a gal smile!

SALE on SSS and birthday cards…

13-years-revised

YAY! So many cool stamps, dies, papers, inks, stencils and more from Simon Says Stamp!  Congrats on 13 years Simon Says Stamp!

A couple birthday cards that finally made it to the birthday kids so I can post them!  hehe

Pam Sparks Ethan's 16 b-day

For Ethan’s 16th birthday I used the MFT Smart phone die and one of the borders from the Memory Box Geometric Borders die set…

The Doodlebug enamel black dot for the button at the bottom and Ranger Black enamel accents in the top holes.

It’s hard to see but the phone is cut from Silver metallic card-stock.

Pam Sparks Lilli's 11th b-day

Lilli’s card is made with the Distress Ink Smooshing background and Avery Elle stamps and dies.  I used the dies to make masks to keep the ink off the images.

The rainbow Washi tape is from Doodlebug…not sure about the skinny triangle one.

Linking my cards up to Seize the Birthday challenge!

Working on cards for two Memory Box classes coming up March 12th at Scrapmania in Cedar Rapids! Looking forward to seeing the ladies there again!

Happy Weekend everybody and thanks for stopping by!

Here’s one of the cards I made for our grandson Gilbert.  He’ll be turning three next week. Time goes by so fast.  We still have three grandsons younger though. lol  We’ve got boys!

Taylored Expressions September Release Day…

PamSparksDoorToDoorFall2Thursday

Welcome!  We’re celebrating release day at Taylored Expressions today!

I have two cards to share using the NEW Door to Door and Door to Door Decor die sets. The first one is a Fall setting so I used the NEW Little Bits Leaves dies cut in fall colors, shaped with a stylus and edged with some Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the ink blending tool, on the wreath.

The ‘celebrating’ banner is from the NEW One and Only You stamp and die combo…a gift set when you purchase $50 for a limited time only… check it out on the TE blog. I love it!

I used the TE Brick Embossing folder and inked it with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the ink blending tool also.

My second card is a Winter/Christmas card with the same Door to Door and Door to Door Decor sets.

PamSparksDoorToDoor2Thursday

I used the Bead-board Embossing folder for the background…I wanted it to look like siding. The Ice Border die across the top, the Rolling Hills Build a Scene die for the snow on the bottom, the Stitched banner from the Pockets and Pages Stitched Essentials die set, the holly leaves are from the NEW Little Bits Leaves die and the sentiment from the Baby It’s Cold Outside stamp set.

The rest of the pieces are all from the Door to Door and Door to Door Decor die sets.

These dies are so much fun!  I can see a Spring and Summer door too, a congrats on your new home, happy anniversary… good for so many occasions!  I know some of you will need a critter in the picture!  : )

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Day #3…

PamSparksBloomersGreeneryFallWed

Hi everyone!  Funny how fast time flies when you’re having fun! I found it hard to believe it’s already Taylored Expressions 7th birthday!!!  It’s a WOW of a release for September and I will be sharing what I created for the celebration today and on release day, tomorrow.  I have three cards for today…eek…I had a hard time deciding what to start with! lol

I’m focusing in on the NEW Bloomers Greenery die set today. My thankful for you card uses one of the fern looking branches.  I die cut it several times in two colors of TE cardstock and formed a wreath.  This is an awesome set of dies for making wreaths, bouquets and whatever you can come up with!

PamSparksBloomersGreeneryFallCloseWed

The flowers are from the NEW Mini Bloomers die set.  I die cut the set in two colors of TE cardstock and glued them together.

The ‘thankful for you’ stamp and ‘you’ die are part of a Stamp and Die combo called ‘One and Only You’. TE designed this set especially for you. When you order $50 or more from September 3rd – September 13th, you’ll receive it free!  Read all about it and see the picture of it on the TE blog HERE.

PamSparksBloomersGreeneryWednesday

I’m all over the place with these cards today! lol  Here’s a CAS card showing the swirly vine that is in the NEW Bloomers Greenery die set. Again, I used the same two colors of TE cardstock and then added the roses and the crosshatch cuts from the NEW Scribbles die set.  See,  I told you… a lot of NEW stamps and dies this month! : )  The two little rosebuds I cut by hand from the center of the scribbled rose die cut.

PamSparksBloomersGreeneryCloseWednesday

There’s the NEW One and Only You stamp and die combo again too.

PamSparksBloomersGreeneryRedWednesday

Here’s another wreath card I made using another branch from the NEW Bloomers Greeney die set. I can see using this card for pretty much any occasion!  A very versatile set and I still haven’t used all the pieces!

The swirly vine, die cut four times and glued to the card base.  A layer of vellum over that and then the wreath popped up with mounting squares on top.
