Two Cards…a Birthday and a Snowman!

Hi cardmakers and friends! It was Tim’s birthday the other day… I made him a card! He was surprised! lol

This cute little raccoon is old, from Stampendous, the sentiment too. I searched and didn’t find it anywhere but I thought it was fun enough to share and bring some smiles!

Colored with Copics on Neenah 110# Solar White cardstock.

Then our swap at club Friday was a snowman theme. I made this…

It’s from a clear stamp set by Impressions Obsession. I stamped with Ranger Archival Black ink on kraft and colored it with white and blue color pencil. A Memory Box Postage frame die and a little red heart to jazz it up. Add a heart any time you can. lol

A jolly happy soul! May love and laughter light your days and warm your heart and home!

Three Valentines with the NEW Memory Box Woodland Heart Frame Die…

First up…oops… I said Valentines up there but I made this one a birthday card! oh well, it could easy be a Valentine too! The Woodland Heart Frame die, the bike from the Neighborhood Heart Frame die and a sentiment from the new stamp set, Best Life Typewriter Sentiments.

I tore a piece of printer paper and inked the concrete and used a cloud stencil to ink the clouds. A little bit of Copic marker to make the shadows under the bike tires.

I love the heart in the tree, don’t you?!

I inked the kraft die cuts with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the ink blending tool.

Here you can see that I used mounting tape to raise up the center circle. I just cut narrow strips…not hard at all!

Next…

It’s not Valentines Day unless I use some of this pool color, red and kraft! Oh and white!

The little heart flowers are from the new Scrollwork Heart Circle Frame die.

There’s that heart in the tree again! 😀

I used the new Love Jotted Script die too. I love these sentiment dies like this… so easy to glue up and even a little mounting tape under the top of the ‘L’.

I used mounting tape strips again for the center circle.

These cards will all mail easy for one postage stamp….even though they’re square they are 4 ¼ inch so will fit in an A2 envelope easy.

No fear of getting bored creating with these dies…mix and match and just have fun!

The sentiment I used is from the new poppystamps Love and Friendship clear stamp set. I’ll show another sentiment from the set on a card tomorrow.

I was going to post all 6 cards in one post but then I changed my mind…3 today and 3 tomorrow! Then who knows what will be next!

It’s a beautiful, sunny day on this 10th day of January already! Soakin’ up the sun sounds good!

Hi everyone! Happy January! LET IT SNOW! haha I know, you’re all groaning. lol Lots of pictures to show you with this one.

I used Karen Burniston’s neat Tag Book Die set to make this card… Karen is a great gal! So talented! I was fortunate to meet her a few years ago when I taught at the Great Yosemite Stamp Escape. If you ever have a chance to take her classes…you’ll love it! Her ‘how to’ video for this set is HERE. It’s amazing and so easy to follow!

Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers Ink blended background with some water spots and I’ll just link up what I used at the bottom of the post so not a lot of text today!

This pup is so cute! 2018 was the year of dogs for our family! 3 Standard Poodles and 1 Doodle added to the 3 daughter’s families! Ambitious girls! lol

So this card for Leo, the pup had to be black. 😀

I used two of the new Big Picture dies… I’ll link them below and an old Quickutz number die for the 5. The sentiment is from a MFT stamp set. I’ll try to find it to link to also. Oh, I cut an extra body and used the legs for paws too! 😀

Two close ups and I gotta run shop too! lol

I layered up the eyes and nose 5 or so times to get them to stand out against the black. I punched the white part of the eye.

Hello Bluebird Moose and Friends Birthday Card…

Hi everyone! December birthdays must go on! We have three this month…our oldest daughter was born Christmas Day, then two grandsons, one the 3rd and one the 16th. So fun and this card just makes me HAPPY! So cute! I used some Hello Bluebird stamps and dies.

I stamped on Copic X-press it card and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. A little white gel pen when I was finished coloring.

Oh, it’s a happy celebration here! My granddaughter Lizzie asked me which critter the party was for? Then she decided it was the beaver! hehe So cute!

The cake looks good. yum!
