And one of the sentiments from the new Amy R Stamps Snowman Sayings set on the inside….

Linking up to the Everybody Art Challenge blog – Christmas Card is the theme… Shopping Our Stash Challenge blog wants to see Christmas or Winter related….Top Tip Tuesday Challenge blog they want to see more than one fold!

A couple side shots of the Front Panel Stair-step design – more on this style card on these posts, HERE and HERE.

I inked up the Stone Wall stamp and wiped away the butterflies, flower and grass, stamped it, inked it up again and wiped away then stamped with the stamp a ma jig to position them right the two images tight up against each other.  All I had to do was draw in a few lines then…I stamped a light dot pattern from Printworks with Pumice Stone Distress ink after I colored the wall with warm gray copics. The background sky is Chipped Sapphire Distress ink applied with the Tim Holtz ink blending tool on a craft sheet.  A few light spritzes with H2O and some teeny snowflakes and fine glass glitter from the Art Glittering System.  The snow on the trees is a Snow Marker from Marvy and a little fine glass glitter again.  The chipboard Christmas pieces are from K & Co. Brenda Walton Evergreen Icons.  The border piece inside is from K & Co. Elizabeth Brownd Visions of Christmas border pack.

Watch OUT!!!

Do you see what she’s hiding behind her back?  Snowball Laugh is playing tough gal today! lol  Good thing she’s so cute!  I colored and created a winter-ish scene for her to play in today.  CC Designs images… so fun!  I love this winter tree with just the perfect amount of snow  “globs”!   The Snowy Winter fence is perfect too.  I cut it all out, even the bits in-between the boards!  I was thinking last night while I was cutting all these out, that I should make a video on cutting out the fence…then I thought…no one would watch it! lol   I used white signo gel pen on her fluff and some E 50 copic marker.  I love the look of this white pen!  To bad you can’t see it! bah haha

Splat!  I told you to watch out!  I love this awesome set that Christine illustrated for us this month.  I paper pieced the puddle.  I used the Hattie, Stella and Rose 6×6 pad.  I linked to it below but it’s out of stock but it takes you to all the other MME pads that would all work up wonderfully!  The snowflakes are three sizes of Marvy Snowflake punches. The mittens dies are new for November from CC Designs also.  It’s fun how they’re made…very easy to piece different patterns together and add stitching.

It’s an easel card so I shot a couple side views… Laugh, the trees and fence are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Sketch Copic Markers.   Blue greens are  BG72, 75, 78.  Golds are YR21, 23, 24 and E99.  Hair is E50, E31, YR21 and 23.  Face is E000, 00, 01 and a diluted R20.  Fence is E43, 44, 47, 49.  Trees are BG93, 96, 99.

No snow here today… another beautiful day! yay!  Always some kind of weather, that’s for sure! : )    I did have fun coloring these images and hope you’ll be inspired to do some creating this week too!  I need to stay in the stamping and coloring “groove”!  I’m linking to the Sweet Stop Sketches Challenge blog – I was inspired by their sketch this week.  The ABC Challenge blog is up to D – wanting to see Dazzle… well,  my snow’s got glam!

Here’s the back!

This card-stock is really gold, not pumpkin!!! ugh!  I had this one little sentiment made up to add to the easel but I couldn’t decide where to put it,  so it’s on the back! lol  I love it though and it turns the Winter card into a Christmas card!

Hope she made you laugh and want to get stamping!  Thanks for stopping by and ttul!

I don’t want to think about snow!

It’s inevitable where I live though!  We had a few flakes earlier in the week! I’ll just stay in and stamp!  haha!  The challenge for our stamp club swap was to create a Christmas card with non-traditional colors.  I made a flakey Christmas card! I love the new Mittens dies from CC Designs Cutters!  They are so cute and love the embossing on them too!  I used a Hero Arts Holiday Background stamp,  My Minds Eye Stella Rose clear stamp set and a Martha Stewart Snowflake punch, Embroidered Floral Edge punch and Embroidered Floral Corner punch. The gems are from Hero Arts and the Vintage glass shard glitter is from the Art Glittering system.  I used the discontinued pink card-stock from Stampin Up and it really is a fun pink…not sure why it looks so bright here… oh the joys of photography!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Weekend to you!

Chill E. Pinebough and Wish U. Goodcheer…

Don’t you love cute, cute snowmen with awesome names?!  Four delightful new snowpeople from CC Designs Sweet November line, illustrated by Amy Young, in the store HERE.   Chill E. Pinebough is in for a freezin’ good time on this tag!

Snowman Wish U. Goodcheer is telling us to sparkle!  Both tags have sentiments on them from the new Amy R Stamps Snowman Sayings set.  So FUN! The November release is in the store HERE!

Here’s what I did…

I stamped the snowpeople with Spun Sugar Distress ink on this kraft card-stock.

I shook up the Picket Fence Distress Stain real good,  then dabbed it on in the areas you want to be white.

After the white distress stain was dry,  I inked up the snowman with Versafine Onyx black ink and with my stamp a ma jig, I stamped over the image again.

OK,  I cheated on  Chill E.’s stocking cap,  I painted the stain on those stripes.

The rest is color pencil.

For Wish U.’s hat and scarf, I stamped on another piece of kraft, cut them out and glued them on top, then colored with color pencils.

Tombow Mono Multi glue to hold the vintage glass shard glitter on.

Twig Distress ink on the edges of the tag, applied with the ink blending tool…then Picket Fence Distress Stain dabbed on.

Martha Stewart snowflake punch.  The ribbon is probably May Arts or American Crafts.

Click over to the ATS blog HERE, to see the other two snowpeople…Adorn D. Yard and Dazzle M. Nightly.  Don’t you just love the names… I know… I already said that!  Link up for a chance to win too!

CC Designs November stamps and mitten die will be in the store to purchase tonight at 10 p.m. HERE!

Thanks for coming over another day!!!  Whew!  a big week for blog posting… time for some R & R and a visit to your blog! hehe
