Thank You Cards….

Hi everyone! A little bit festive still this month. I didn’t want to post these until they were received!

For this first card I was totally inspired by a gal on Instagram. I’ll link to her over there. Link to my grid in the right sidebar under the follow option.

I used some new Tim Holtz dies and a stamp set for the sentiment. I’ll link below.

Soooo CUTE! I love this guy…I picture him singing loud and clear for all to hear! lol

My second card is The Greeting Farm Holiday Anya for Christmas 2024. I alway love these and collect them for myself and our granddaughter Anya.

I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics.

I cut them out with the Scan n Cut. I prefer buying dies but if there aren’t dies to coordinate I love using the Scan n Cut. I purchased mine several years ago, right before they came out with the new, quiet one! haha I sure love the thing though… I’ve had really good luck with it!

She’s so cute and I love the other images that came in the set also! So much fun to color and easy to color too!

My pictures turned out good this time so I’m just gonna load them all into the post! lol

Spellbinders Bold Color Mix Numbers Cards…

Hi everyone! Branching away from Christmas today! Birthdays keep coming and January is a busy month for our family when it comes to birthdays! YAY! As long as it’s not mine! haha!

This is a 5 x 6 size card so I’ll be using an A7 envelope for it. I tried some stitching for fun….just die cutting and a little stamping.

I used the betterpress dies to stamp the sentiment and th! I liked the distress look I got doing that! I taped the dies into the MISTI and inked them up. lol

I inked the edges of almost everything with Distress Gathered Twigs Ink and a mini ink blending tool.

The pattern paper is from the Doodlebug Design Sweetheart 6×6 paper pad.

Next card….

I hot foiled with the Better Press dies….I used the negative/leftover piece of foil from another project because I thought the polka dots would be fun. But…whoa…what a challenge to get a picture!

It’s Silver foiling for the numbers and the sentiment.

I think I better order a Better Press kit for these solid dies. I’ve been able to do it with the detail betterpress dies and my die cutting machine, following a video a gal put up on you tube but these solid ones I struggled with.

Still fun and a CAS card…much better IRL!

I absolutely love these numbers and the options for making fun celebratory cards! I’ll link the sentiment set I wasn’t able to use yet below also…it’s cool too! So many good products and ideas out there to help us make awesome cards!

Hi everyone! Back to blogging! I’ve been making, posting a few things on instagram. If you don’t follow me there, check it out! I just posted the Christmas cards I received in my stories there and they’ll be up for the next 24 hours.

Die cutting and a stamped sentiment today….Winter is coming on strong these days! Brrrr

The gold branch paper is from the Yuletide Cheer pad, kraft cardstock spattered with white, black and walnut stain inks. I die cut an oval in the trimmed down 5 in. x 6 in. gold, branch paper. Then started building out from there.

I love the snowy log die! So much detail and that pretty white snow against the inky brown.

I die cut the bird in white and inked it with inky brushes. A little black gem for his eye.

I used a green cardstock from the Greenery paper pad for the leaves.

Winter Greetings sentiment is from the Holiday Wishes stamp set.

I like it! Lots of birds in the new releases from the Memory Box companies!

Simon Says Stamp Cheering For You Release!

Hi everyone! New! New! New! It’s a challenge to keep up with all the new but so worth it! I’m super excited to share my card with you because you know how we need man/boy cards so often!

So many guys love football! Hey, I bet there’s some gals that do too! Not me but I had fun making this card!

The name of this new stamp set is Football Season and there are coordinating dies too!

I stamped the football on the background panel randomly and then filled in the stitching lines with white gel pen just around the parts that would show.

I cut a smaller white panel, added the torn piece of grass green cardstock for the turf, then stamped the goal post and colored it with Copics. Then I went in with a cloud stencil and brushed in some clouds.

Four perfect sentiments in the set too! I used the birthday one, sssshhhh, I cut it apart but it fits back together fine. lol

Timeout! on the front and It’s your Birthday on the inside. I heat embossed on both with white embossing powder.

Super fun set that I know I’ll get lots of use out of with so many boys in the family!

My card is A2 size.

Simon Says Stamp Sunny Vibes Release Around the World Card…

Hi cardmakers and friends! Sunny Vibes….sure makes me think of Summer, vacations and travel. I’m not going anywhere but I can send this card instead! So many cute illustrations in this stamp set. There’s a coordinating die set and another die set if you don’t want to stamp.

I’m not sure if there is a thing called ‘air mail’ anymore…takes two days to get a piece of mail to someone in the same town! I love using postal elements on cards though. I heat embossed AIR MAIL in white on red cardstock.

I stamped the images and colored with Copics. I didn’t like the continents in brown so I stippled on some Rustic Wilderness Oxide ink. That was tricky but I didn’t want to start over.

I colored the airplane with a metallic gel pen then went over it a few times with a clear glaze pen.

The sentiments are straight in the stamp set but using the MISTI I curved them a little and stamped with Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink.

Ended up being a 5 ½ inch square card.
