I just couldn’t WAIT to show you this project!!! So melt your heart cute! Meet Sheldon. irresistibly CUTE!
Blanket Stitch again… with Carribean twine from the Twinery and the white on Sheldon is from Doodlebug, the holiday Twine set that I linked to in my last post… links at the bottom. oh man! Just linking him up to SLS and I see I did him upside down to the picture on the package!!! ugh. His head is supposed to be bigger than his body! Figures. *sigh* Oh well, I still LOVE this!!! I will have to make another with a BIG head! lol
The felt I used is from Taylored Expressions… Tiffany, Avocado, Marshmallow, Charcoal and Black. I colored a scrap of Marshmallow with an orange copic sketch marker and then trimmed out a teeny carrot nose and glued the eyes, nose, scarf and buttons on with Tombow Mono Multi glue. (green lids)
The candy cane is an organic, no artificial food dye, candy cane that I get at Christmas time at Whole Foods or through one of the online stores. : )
One more look and holler if you have any questions…

So adorable-I’ll bet your Grandkids will love these!!!
I like Sheldon just the way he is… in fact MORE than if he had a big head!!!
So lovely, Pam 🙂
Awwww that is the cutest!! I love the colors and that twine looks so cute for the stitching! Love Sheldon upside down! I think I would have done the same! hehe!
What a darling snowman mitten! Love it! Perfect to hang on the tree!
Okay first I love love love the mitten OPEN!! This is sheer genius Pam – and with Sheldon on it – and the color blue – oh I love everything, absolutely everything about this!!!
There you go again, making my wish list longer and longer! Pam, this is so sweet! Your grands are going to love them! As always, you’re thinking outside the box, and creating magic! Hugs…
This is just adorable. Every snowman I ever made from snow or paper or fabric had a larger bottom than head. So I don’t even want to see one with a head bigger than his bottom. LOL Too cute1 Love the colors!
I just remembered what the mitten reminded me of… When we were kids we made a pair of mittens similar to these and put a hair clip the old kind 😉 to make bookmarks .
Love it!
Adorable Pam! I love my SnowMen…Up-side-down or Up-right!!! =)
Thanks for sharing this cute guy with us!
OMG love Sheldon – and how cute to put the candy cane in the mitten, what a great idea, you could hang several on the tree. Beautiful job with the blanket stitch.
Love the felt. Gives it such a fuzzy look. Now I know what you were talking about when you mentioned felt dies. So cute. Thanks Pam
So adorable Pam! Just too cute!
I liked the addition of the snowman added to the mitten. Really cute idea.
Cute mitten with the beautiful stitching you did. You may have to use that mitten this weekend !!!
What a lovely mitten Pam. The stitching against the beautiful carribean color is very impressive and gives a wintery wonderland feel to any Christmas Tree! Now, if only I had a cute mini mitten pin like this to wear and show off Sheldon, on this sweet mitten. LOL! So cute Pam, thank you for sharing your beautiful creation. Oh yes, I’ll have to buy some of those organic candy canes. Awesome!
Awww, this is so CUTE Pam, and I love the colors!
LOL…you are too funny. I would have never noticed the upside down Sheldon. I think he looks perfect. Great job!!!
Oh my he is just the cutest, love how you stitched it all up, great color for the mitten, adorable!
Such a gorgeous shade of blue for your stocking and that tiny snowman is adorable, Pam! I’d love to have this hanging on my tree! Thanks for sharing it with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!

Pam your mitten is beautiful – and your hand stitching so good! Okay – after Christmas I am going to order those two dies. I will keep your post on my computer – YES!!!!!

Well honey – my body is a lot bigger than my head – my shadow looks right weird!
Sandy xx
I am still admiring and trying real hard not to order until after the first!!!!
when you cut these out of felt, does it show you where to sew?
I ordered the mitten – I have no self discipline at all!!
I did the same thing, put Sheldon upside down. LOL I like it better that way anyhow.
