An ATC and two tags…

Merry Christmas to all!  Every year I’m more amazed at how fast time goes by!  ssssshhhh I don’t want to admit it’s because I’m older and just slower! pout!

Here’s an ATC (artist trading card) I just made for a “four for four” mail swap…had fun with the  In the Meadow stamps and dies from PTI (Papertrey Ink).  The Winter Town stamp is from Hero Arts.  I used Distress stains to ink up the stamp… can’t remember which two now…ugh!   Frosted Lace stickles for the glitter.

For stamping and die cutting the sledder, here’s what I did… I die cut the sledder,  tacked it down with a little tape to my craft mat.  Used the stamp a ma jig to stamp the image on the die cut.  I tried stamping it first and then cutting but I just couldn’t get it lined up good enough to suit me that way.  The partial silhouette of the snowman is an older Stampin Up punch. The sentiment is from PTI also.

A couple gift tags…

This was for our oldest daughter, Heather.  Her birthday is Christmas Day.  The nurses had sewn up flannel stockings for the Christmas Day babies…I have photos of her as a baby in that stocking.  When this Tilda image came out,  I had to have it!  Tilda is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers.  Hair E30, 15, 08. 17 and 18 or 19,  can’t remember at the moment.  Skin E000, 00, 21 and cheeks diluted R20.  Green BG93, 96, Red W3, R35, 37, 39 and 59.  Fluff E40,41, 42, 43 and a white gel pen.

I stamped this Hero Arts typewriter on kraft card-stock and on natural card-stock too.  I cut out the natural and adhered it to the typewriter after I stamped the message on it with the stamp a ma jig.  The two holly leaves are an EK Success punch and the bow is an old quickutz die.

I could go on creating for Christmas for months and still have new stuff to use!  Crazy!  My favorite time of year!  What a mess I have in my stamp room! EEK!  oh well,  I’m resting up today and enjoying the Christmas tree a little bit longer!

Here’s what 1800 lights on a 9 foot Christmas tree look like at night and it didn’t tip over once this year!  yea! lol  (my photo skills don’t do it justice!)

Merry Christmas and God bless you!  I appreciate your friendship and support through this blog!

  5. Hi Pam! Sounds like your Christmas was delightful! Happy belated birthday to your daughter too! I can so relate to the messy craft room…tee hee! Great projects, dear friend 🙂

  6. Hey you used your new PTI sets pretty quickly! Good for you! Your tree is beautiful! I would not have wanted to put those 1800 lights on it or take them off! Oh and I LOVE your cards today 🙂

  7. Love everything you do !!! I’m heading home for a few weeks so I can come to club, since I have the program. Your tree is absolutely gorgeous !!!

  8. Your ATC design is beautiful, Pam, and your Tilda coloring is gorgeous! AND, your tree is spectacular–is that a pre-lit tree or did you string the 1800 lights yourself? If you did, you’re going to have to do a video on how to string lights without yelling “Christmas, bah-humbug” while doing it, LOL! Just bought me a pre-lit tree today 50% off–need I say more? Gorgeous tree, hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

  9. First off…your tree is absolutely gorgeous! OH MY!!! I wish I had a tall ceiling like that. So love the time and patience you took to add these special details to your presents. I am sure they are treasured. I usually keep special embellies like this and add as ornaments to the tree the next year. Fun memories.

  10. Oh wow Pam – your Christmas tree is beautiful – gorgeous. I would love to see your home. Would like to see you too of course and I love your “Painted Lady”. As I have limited time, I would like to tell you how much I love the first card. You amaze me with your creativity. Will save the directions and maybe give it a go – HO, HO , HO! Now if you would like to come down and baby sit 4 little hoodlums who specialize in fighting, maybe I could make a card!!
Have a wonderful 2012 – full of creative ideas and the instructions of how to do what you do. Yeah, yeah, good health and wealth (at least enough to buy what you want) and that kind of thing!X!!!
