HOHOHO everyone! It’s Diecember at Simon Says Stamp.com ! My card today uses the new ‘Big For You’ die from the release.
My original thought was to use the ‘Big For You’ on a tag but then I got sidetracked when my order arrived with this Dancing Deer die! lol
So this came out! Glitter cardstock die cuts on a vellum covered piece of white cardstock. The white cardstock just needed something and the vellum was perfect!
I used two brown tones for the deer and snowflakes…
Some blue tones for the words and layer piece.
I turned away from the light a little for this last picture… This card picks up any light and sparkles like crazy! I love it! I think it’d be pretty on the fireplace mantle nestled in some greens to catch the Christmas tree lights! What Christmas tree you say? oh yes, still need to do that! lol

Oh so pretty Pam. This would brighten up any space! Don’t feel bad-I don’t have my tree up yet either. Steve got his 2nd knee done on Oct 30th-and he is not ready to bring the tree up yet-ha ha. I may not put it up this year. I could always grab a nephew-but everyone already does so much for us. I have enough decorations that I can put up-but not worried if I don’t get to it. It is a full time job taking care of someone with a total knee replacement!! I have only been able to sneak down to the basement and make a couple of cards this past week or so!! Next year he will be all well I hope!! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

Wow, the things you come up with! Do you think of these ideas before you order or just dream them up after? That deer is super cute and I want him, but then I’d have to have the snowflakes, too, and the “for you”. Gosh, this is so pretty! Love the two tones of brown glitter paper. Amazing sparkle and even more so IRL, I know. Fantastic, Pam!!
