poppystamps Woven Basket Pop Up Easel Set and Spring Bunnies Card…

Hi everyone!  It almost feels like Spring in Iowa today!  43˚!  Next up… happy Easter!

I started out with the NEW poppystamps Woven Basket Pop Up Easel Set with every intention of making an easel card! lol   I glued the back on wrong so all of a sudden I had an A2 basket shape card so I went with it! lol

I used all NEW Memory Box cardstock except for the white card base.  I’ll link up the pads I used below.  I love the colors!

I did add a little Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink with the mini ink blending tool, to the background piece. The basket is inked through the die with Distress ink Gathered Twigs.  I used some other inks to edge the die cut pieces.

It’s so great to get so many fun dies in a set.  I love the grass, foliage and berries in the set.  I used two of the green cardstocks.  The bow comes in the set too!

I used NEW poppystamps Spring Bunnies and Splendid Happy Easter dies also.

On the inside a sentiment from the NEW Memory Box stamp set All the Happiness.

I added white dots and colored the berries white with a white glaze pen.  I love using them.  I do two or three layers.

Memory Box NEW Stained Glass Butterfly, poppystamps NEW Double Diamond Lattice Plate and SSS Birthday Sale!

HEY!  Happy Birthday! Just kidding but it’s nice to have Clean and Simple birthday cards in your stash ready to go! Dies help!

I used the NEW Memory Box Fresh Aqua 6×6 heavyweight cardstock 6×6 paper pad. Gorgeous papers! (My pictures turned out too blue :O)


I die cut the poppystamps Lattice Plate and NEW Double Diamond Lattice Plate from heavyweight white cardstock, glued them together and adhered them to an A2 panel of the new cardstock. Then adhered to an A2 white cardbase.

I love the depth and texture these lattice dies used together bring to the card front without extreme thickness.  This will mail for one postage stamp.

I die cut the NEW Stained Glass Butterfly in heavyweight white cardstock and layered it on a stitched square die cut of the NEW cardstock.

I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Memory Box Cherry Blossom Wreath stamp set on Taylored Expressions black cardstock. Cardstock makes a difference with white powder… this is Lawn Fawn’s white powder over Versamark ink.

A few enamel dots and done.  Sorry about the color, I wish I’d realized that before I edited the pictures. ugh. The card is actually the color of the new Memory Box die envelope.

Memory Box NEW ‘All the Happiness’ Stamp Set…

Hi everyone! It’s time for a NEW release from Memory Box!  So fun for all that love to color and love beautiful lettering!

Today’s card is using the NEW All the Happiness stamp set with two coordinating dies for the florals in the set.

AND there’s *NINE* NEW Memory Box cardstock paper pads!!!  48 6×6 inch sheets. 4 each of 12 shades. Printed on 110lb. cardstock. 6 x 6 inches. So awesome!

I stamped with Ranger Archival Black ink, watercolored with regular Distress Ink, Victorian Velvet and Rustic Wilderness and shaded with Caran ‘dAche dark Carmine and black colored pencils.

Heat embossed the sentiment with black pigment ink and black embossing powder.

For the frame I die cut the Memory Box Wrapped Scalloped Rectangles largest die, then to make it a frame I used one of the dies from the Memory Box Rectangle Basics Set to cut the center out.

Back today with a heart card…when I looked at this die pkg, I got the idea to try it in succulent colors…

I wanted some texture so I started with the new Memory Box Pinpoint Snowflake Plate die for the background in TE Sweet Basil cardstock, regular A2 size.

Then I decided I wanted to use the new Memory Box Woodgrain Heart die to layer the heart layers, die cut in TE Toffee and inked with Distress Gathered Twigs ink and the mini ink blending tool.

I always like to have a sentiment so I used the new Memory Box Sending Love Posh Script again… three layers of cardstock, the top layer is inked with regular Distress inks… some purples.

The new Birch Press Design Kinsley Heart layers are die cut, Layer C in white and inked for the purple,  Layer B in TE Peapod cardstock and inked in TE peapod ink and Layer A in TE Sweet Basil and inked in TE Sweet Basil ink.

I tied it up with that fun May Arts twine and it was done.

Memory Box Snow Much Fun Birthday Card…

Happy snow day if you live in snow territory like we do! Some years we don’t get much but this year we’re getting enough to keep it pretty and bright!

This is one of the birthday cards I’ve been working on…our boys love playing in the snow!

The bunnies, sentiment and snowballs are from the Memory Box Snow Much Fun stamp and die sets HERE and HERE.


The sled and presents are from the Memory Box Be Jolly stamp and die sets HERE and HERE.

I love that these sets can be used for Christmas and Winter… the candy cane could easy be switched out with the heart for Valentines Day! And there’s a die for all in the set!

I used the Memory Box Fresh Pine Curved Border die HERE for the snowy tree hill in the background.

Salty Ocean and a little bit of Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks for the background…then a spattering of white acrylic paint.

This card is the fabulous mini slim size that I am really loving!  3 ½ inches x 6 inches.  A few posts back I showed one this size but vertical using the new Memory Box Verdant Leaf Collage die, HERE.
