Hi everyone! A week can sure go by fast when you have company….even when you have good intentions to get a blog post in!

Today I’m sharing a card and tag using poppystamps new Geometric Deco Plate and Art Deco Birthday Greetings clear stamp set!

Need to whip up a card in a hurry? poppystamps and Memory Box to the rescue!

I needed a piece of copy paper to shim this plate die…angle it into the machine so you’re not bumping over a straight line!

I embossed the light green card panel underneath the cut with the same die to give it a little dimension… that little ‘extra’. You don’t want the sandwich too tight though, the paper will crack. I used the debossed side this time.

Memory Box Fresh Aqua 6×6 cardstock pad! I love that the papers are already color coordinated for me!

Memory Box Fantasy, Imperial, Stone Keep Castle Collage Dies Card…

Hi everyone! More new dies from Memory Box! Check out these new dies to make a magical card for that special someone! I can see these being used for so many occasions and for both children and adults!

There are three new collage dies, top one is Fantasy Castle Collage, middle one is Imperial Castle Collage and bottom one is Stone Keep Castle Collage. Fun names! I used 3 shades of gray from the Memory Box Earth Neutral Collection 6×6 cardstock pad.

I layered them on an A2 size card. I wanted a little separation but not a lot so I could stick it in the mail. So I took a piece of chipboard and put score-tape on both sides and made my own mounting strips but they aren’t foam or thick. It just gives a little bit of lift. I really like how it looks IRL.

The peachy pink colors are from the Memory Box Berry Red Collection 6×6 cardstock pad.

I die cut the background pink color with the Memory Box Pinpoint Burst Plate die.

The sentiment is from the new Memory Box Majestic Achievements stamps and die set. I stamped it on the peachy pink color and trimmed it and layered it on the white die cut. You wouldn’t need to do this but I did a lousy job stamping it on the die cut piece so I cut it out! lol Super cute castle stamp, sentiments and banners.

Maybe you can see the dimension a little bit better in this picture.

and here’s the inside….I used the castle stamp and one of the sentiments in the stamp set. Super cute! Still room to sign!

Memory Box Elegant Succulent Sentiments Card…

Hi everyone! This is a new stamp set from Memory Box with gorgeous succulent floral images and beautiful sentiments that are actually ones you would use! ‘best wishes on your special day’, ‘wishing you the happiest birthday’, ‘just a little note to let you know I am thinking about you’, ‘when times are difficult let hope sustain you’ and the one I used on my card.

I did some distress ink smooshing with a piece of scrap acetate. I like that it’s a little easier to control doing it this way. Acetate to watercolor paper instead of laying the watercolor paper flat on the inky craft mat. I used Peeled Paint, Peacock Feathers and Forest Moss regular Distress Ink pads.

I stamped the succulent bouquet with Ranger Archival ink onto the dried inked watercolor paper. I used a stamp platform so I could ink it a few times.

Then I die cut it out with the coordinating die.

I heat embossed the sentiment in gold powder on TE Oreo cardstock and cut around it with a scissors.

There is another new sentiment and die set from Memory Box that does have coordinating dies. You can see it HERE.

I glued the negative piece to a piece of TE Oreo cardstock, then using mounting tape I fit the die cut back in the space.

I mounted to another piece of TE Poblano Pepper cardstock….I know it’s dark here, hard to tell but it’s there! hehe

To add a little glam, I added some Memory Box Fairy Jewels!

I really like how it turned out. That’s what keeps us making, right?! When we like something! I’m working on birthday cards for boys… Corrin turned 12 on the 7th, Cedryk turned 9 on the 18th and Henry is 15 TODAY!!! How in the world! These kids just keep getting older! I love ’em! For a mom of girls to have 11 grandsons, it’s pretty amazing! lol 6 granddaughters too!

Simon Says Stamp Delicate Outline Flowers for Two Mini Slims…

Hi everyone! This new cling stamp from Simon Says Stamp’s newest release is almost 6×6 size. I stamped it up, heat embossed it in gold, painted it with Karin watercolor markers and cut it in half! eek! That was hard to do! lol It’s perfect for two mini slimline cards though!

The sentiment die is from Memory Box. On the top card I used a vellum layer and on the second I used a mirror gold layer.

Here you can see the gold the way it looks in real life!

Here the sentiment is die cut in the mirror gold cardstock… so pretty!

The top card is the right side of the stamp, second card is the left side! I kept with a simple method of watercoloring on Strathmore Best watercolor, the brown pad. I put the darkest color ink marker down on dry paper, then moved it out with a lighter color ink marker, then a wet paintbrush. I made myself just keep going, not going back and back! lol

I love this mini slim line size but I’m not stuck here! lol

Memory Box and poppystamps ‘anything is popsicle’ Shaker Card!

Do you agree? Such a cute sentiment! A Summer shaker card with poppystamps Whittle Popsicle die, Memory Box Nested Globes, Memory Box Grain Planks (cut to be narrower), NEW Banner Sentiment Trio die and NEW poppystamps Life is Sweet Clear Stamp set!

Here’s a video to show how it works…it’s not deep so they don’t move around a lot. It looks a lot better when you click watch on You Tube. lol

I made this mini slim size… 3 ½ in x 6 in. It works so well for some things!

I die cut everything from Neenah 110# Solar White Smooth Classic Crest cardstock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

I added dots to the inside background piece with the same Copics also.

I only used one layer of mounting tape around the perimeter of the globe. I used the thin strips you can buy, but cutting your own would work too! I’ll link below.

Super cute little popsicles…the die comes with two on it, one with the cute face and stitch lines and the other solid.

I forgot to take a picture of the inside! ugh. But there’s a new poppystamps sentiment set called Marzipan Greetings that’s so cute and the sentiment ‘it’s the little things’ is perfect for the inside! I like some of the other ones for this too!

I don’t know who I’m going to send this to yet! Here we are in the middle of Summer already though! Wow, this year is going by fast!
