poppystamps Geometric Deco Plate Card and Tag…

Hi everyone!  A week can sure go by fast when you have company….even when you have good intentions to get a blog post in!

Today I’m sharing a card and tag using poppystamps new Geometric Deco Plate and Art Deco Birthday Greetings clear stamp set!

Need to whip up a card in a hurry?  poppystamps and Memory Box to the rescue!

I needed a piece of copy paper to shim this plate die…angle it into the machine so you’re not bumping over a straight line!

I embossed the light green card panel underneath the cut with the same die to give it a little dimension… that little ‘extra’.  You don’t want the sandwich too tight though, the paper will crack.  I used the debossed side this time.

Memory Box Fresh Aqua 6×6 cardstock pad!  I love that the papers are already color coordinated for me!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I’m off to help Amanda put up peaches this afternoon.  We’ve been making yummy peach cobbler…. a great recipe HERE!  My mom used to make this one with rhubarb.  It says use a 9×9 pan but we use 9×13.

Below are links to what I used! All the stores are getting in new stuff!  Cindy is back from vacation and shipping @ starlitstudio.net.  SSS has a $5 off code good through 8/15  YUM521.  Scrapbook.com always has specials!

  1. What a great card and tag! Sometimes simple is the best! Love the colors you used. Thanks for sharing! PS – Glad you had time to visit with your company! Hope you had a great time!

  2. Very pretty card Pam!! So Art Deco! I love how you embossed the underneath layer! It shows and it’s cool!

  3. Oh, hey, love the art deco look! I also love peach cobbler, yum! I’m going to try a plum cobbler recipe next. All our renovations here got me on a decluttering binge again. This time it was recipes. I weeded out two large folders and got them down to one smaller notebook. What a busy summer it’s been!

  4. Wow! This is beautiful! Love the nice clean lines of these projects today! Great job (you may have enabled me again), dear friend!

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
