Birch Press Design Snowy Circle Layer Set – Two Cards

Hi everyone! I had a little fun with ink blending Distress Oxides and Dies for this A2 size card!

Kitsch Flamingo stamping for the snow and edging with a bit of Picked Raspberry added on the perimeters.

The snow scatter is from an older BPD Celestial Waves stamp set.

I used all three layers of the NEW Birch Press Designs Snowy Circle Layer set.  I inked Layer B with a little bit of the pinks.

Skates are super easy to put together! They’re a NEW Memory Box die that I used already a couple weeks ago with a sled and a few other new dies.  I loved using them as an embellishment on this card.  A little knit cro-sheen for lacing them up.

I forgot to take a picture of the inside but I did finish it!  I stamped it with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink in the MISTI with the ‘May the JOY you find this Christmas follow you throughout the year’ sentiment stamp from the NEW poppystamps Christmas Sparkle set.

I got up early this morning to make this pink card!  I’d already thought it through and it worked!  yay!

I made the next card the other day using the same Snowy Circle set but adding the New Memory Box Nested Globe Bases die to turn it into a snowy snowglobe!

Here I used the NEW Birch Press Design Felicity Snowflakes dies and some Fairy Drops for the background.

I used some Lindy’s Magicals powders to ‘paint’ the snowy circles.  I die cut from Smooth Bristol cardstock, spritzed with water and tapped on the powders.  The top layer I just painted with the white and water.

I love the sparkle/shimmer it gives the die cuts!

The JOY on both of my cards is trimmed from the NEW BPD Find Joy and Outline die.  I just used the JOY part.

The foil cardstock I used is from the Memory Box 6×6 Rainbow Reflections Mirror Pad.  This pad has metallic and pearl cardstocks.

On the inside of this second card, I used the same sentiment set but different stamps.  This one says ‘May your Christmas truly Sparkle’ and ‘With much Love’.  I stamped with Peacock Feather Distress Oxide ink in the Misti and it turned out beautiful.  To bad I didn’t take a picture of it!

I didn’t try this for a shaker card but I’m thinking it’d be really pretty made up as one!

Thank you for sticking with me for this long post!  I appreciate you stopping by!

Birch Press Design Crochet Snowflake Card…

Hi everyone!  Some snow in our future I’m sure but paper snow you don’t have to scoop or blow!  Depending on how many bits fall on the floor I guess! haha

I love the plaids in Memory Box 6×6 pads!  This is one from the new Jolly Christmas PP1019 pad.  I wish I could show it to you in real life.  I love these colors together but once again I struggled for hours to get pictures to show the right colors and I didn’t succeed!  So buy the pad!  You won’t be sorry!

It’s a tealish, more grayish, greenish blueish color IRL.  More like the first picture, but darker.

I used the NEW Birch Press Design Crochet Snowflake Layering Die set… so pretty!  I love it!

I die cut layer C in the plaid paper, then in gold and inlaid the gold into the plaid.

Glued Layer B die cut in black on top of the gold.

Glued Layer A die cut in this teal/gray/bluegreen cardstock I have in my stash on top.

I used the NEW poppystamps Joy Freestyle Script die for the sentiment!

Not a hard card at all but I did cut the layers in all the colors before I decided which ones to use. lol

I added some gold pearls and I almost added more but I wanted that color to show through, so I stopped.

And here’s the inside!  I stamped it with a sentiment from the Memory Box NEW Sweet Christmas set that I love!  It stamps up great and lots of good words!

It’s a square card 5 ½ x 5 ½ inches.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Talk to you again soon!

poppystamps Stacked Joy and Layered Holly Branch Mini Slimline Card…

Hi everyone!  A festive JOY card to share today! If I had to choose a word that is fun to create with this time of year, I would pick the word JOY!  This NEW from poppystamps Stacked Joy die is wonderful!

I had fun making it grungy this time but I’m thinking it would be great for a clean and simple creation also!

I used Taylored Expressions cardstock, toffee, Cilantro, Poblano Pepper and Cherry Pop. Bazzill Gold Foil cardstock for the Stacked Joy outline.  I kept the gold letters to use with the red outline.

I trimmed the NEW poppystamps Layered Holly Branch down to using the top three and stuck them here and there.  So happy to have this die!  It worked out so well with the NEW Pine Needle Shoots and the berries from the NEW Layered Holly Leaf Trio dies.

I went with the Mini Slimline size card – 3 ½ x 6.

I used Gathered Twigs Distress ink and a mini ink blending tool to brown everything up a little.

The little, trimmer and handcut plaid banner is from the NEW Memory Box Jolly Christmas plaid 6×6 paper pad!  Gorgeous papers!

I heat embossed a sentiment on the inside from the NEW poppystamps Christmas Sparkle clear stamp set.  I love this set! So many perfect sentiments and this wonderful font!

This card makes me happy and the fact that the inside is done too!  whoop! lol

Memory Box Layered Polar Bear Snowglobe Card…

Hi everyone! There’s a chill in the air so time for a polar bear!  This guy is so cute enjoying the polar weather! lol

More NEW dies from Memory Box.  Layered Polar Bear, Alpine Snowflakes, Layered Birds, Nested Globe Bases and the scarf from Tall Bundled Snowman.

So fun.  I love dies that can be mixed and watched for a variety of designs!

I used a scrap from one of last year’s MB paper pads, Woodsy Plaid.

The sentiment is from the Birch Press Design Contempo Christmas Greetings clear stamp and die set.

I used the thin mounting tape that I like so well.  You get just enough dimension but still easily mailed.

A beautiful sentiment from the NEW Sweet Christmas sentiment clear stamp set.

The check pattern paper is from the same paper pad.

He’s cute! Black Glossy cardstock for his nose and eyes and a little ink on his tummy.

Copic on his paws. The gray background is one of the pieces I did on a Saturday afternoon following Jill Foster’s video. I had so much fun making them!  HERE is the video if you want to make some!

I couldn’t get my camera to focus right on this guy so I ended up with phone pictures. Sorry for my hand being in them. ugh.

thank you for visiting! I appreciate it and I will be back soon!

Back To School Box Card…

Hi everyone! I’m going to work on getting some stuff I’ve made for grands posted!  We’ll see how it goes.

Last week one of my older sisters passed away, funeral was Saturday.  So hard but good to visit with family and friends I haven’t seen for a long time.  So I’m behind posting for Memory Box too but I’ll be making this week!

I made these three box cards for our three grands that attend school.  Our others are home educated.

It was fun to use the library cards that I bought from Starlitstudio.net. I love to read so of course I needed them in my stash!  They worked out perfectly in these box cards!

The box card is a file I cut with my Scan n Cut from Lori Whitlock HERE

My Scan n Cut doesn’t print so if you want to print the numbers you have to get a pdf by emailing for it… or I can send you what they sent me.

The paper bags I put money in are also from Starlitstudio.net

The library card and the bag slide in the box, then it collapses and will fit into an envelope! So cute!

I have some post it notes that are all over sticky on the back so I die cut them and stamped the sentiment for the bag.  The push pin is part of the card file.

It was fun to make something different!

I can’t remember now if I inked the apples or colored them with Copics!

I used a Lawn Fawn alphabet set for their names, a date stamp and another sentiment on the library card.  I printed the grandma and grandpa.

Holler if you have any questions!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a beautiful week…we’re trying not to blow away… so windy this Fall here in Iowa.  Before long the leaves will be dropping and blowing all over the place!

Here’s a pretty picture of the bluffs in the Missouri River area of Iowa…

ttul!
