Spellbinders Happiest Holidays Better Press Cards…

Hi everyone! I was slow getting on the Better Press bandwagon but I love it! I made three cards with the new Yana Happiest Holdays plate and registration guide! It works so slick!

I kept everything pretty clean and simple but I love the NEW bow from the Bow & Bell Scallop Frame set so I used it on all three!

I changed up the strips on the bottom…

One I did the Happiest Holidays in green too. Center card in the photo below.

I die cut the panel with the largest stitch die from the Nested Postage Labels & Tag die set.

I used the Better Press cardstock for one card and the other two are some card I just have on hand to experiment with. They all worked!

I used Wendy Vecchi Archival Ink Pads!

All three are A2 size and will be easy to mail! YAY!

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with great joy! I’m rejoicing that I got a card made to blog! hoho

What a neat set from Spellbinders! I guess I didn’t stray from the CAS look that I like but there’s so much potential to do fun things with this set! Turn it vertical and add a city border behind and and and…

This is a 5 x 7 size card on purpose because I wanted to give them plenty of room!

I started out thinking royal colors but I found these that had tones that worked together so I went with scraps for the most part!

I love that the sentiments are small! A beautiful cursive font!

All the extra details too… a little piece to go behind the head…three different beards….I colored the flesh with a Copic marker.

Versafine ink in the MISTI for the sentiments.

They’re festive! I used the thin mounting tape I love to pop them up just a hair! The stars are glued directly to the card front.

Simple once you decide your colors and get your pieces die cut!

Hope all is well with you. This Summer has flown by or washed by for some… lots of rain…lots of green! Can’t complain about lack of rain!

It feels good to be using the stash…I have a birthday card to share soon. Hopefully my pictures are good because I already gifted it!

Spellbinders Copperplate Happy Anniversary Card…

Hi everyone and happy anniversary to someone somewhere! A new collection at Spellbinders for the Betterpress machine! Copperplate calligraphy sentiments. Happy Birthday, Happy Everything, Heartfelt Sympathy and Hope You’re Feeling Better pretty much covers everything!

Here’s a close up of how beautiful this impresses! I used Silver Delicata ink. It’s so great that my old ink pads work too!

I love it! At one point I took some classes to attempt to write like this but alas life makes it hard to practice as much as it takes to master it. I still like to do lettering though! I guess making cards took up priority! lol

I die cut the panel with one of the dies from the Spellbinders Emerald Cut Labels and Tag die set and mounted it on a 5×7 navy cardstock panel. Using the Scor-Pal I embossed the corners because it needed something! The card base is A7 size white cardstock.

The flower dies I used are from the Spellbinders Club Blooms set from January of 2023. Timeless!

A traditional looking, Hallmark size type card!

Memory Box Cheery Flower Stems and Pinpoint Heart Wedding Card…

Hi everyone! Our oldest granddaughter got married in May and this is the card I made for her. I copied a card I made several years ago!

I die cut the Memory Box Pinpoint Heart die in an A2 size white cardstock panel. I added a piece of pattern paper behind it. It was just a random piece that a friend had given me!

I die cut the Memory Box Cheery Flower Stems in solid black cardstock and added a couple enamel dots to the centers.

The sentiment is from the Memory Box Peony Garden Wreath stamp set.

The die cut hearts are from a Paper Smooches die set.

It was a fabulous, beautiful wedding. Lots of memories!

Simon Says Stamp Moments In Time Release Thank You Teacher Card…

Hi everyone! The end of the school year for some is a great time for thank yous! This is a darling set and so fun to color!

I kept it very simple with the Copic colored characters as the focus. I stamped with Copic friendly ink, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, on Hammermill Color Copy cardstock and die cut.

This is an A2 size card. The close ups make the images look big but they aren’t. Easy to color and not as time consuming as some other images.

So cute! A few white gel pen accents.

The sentiments are stamped from the set with Versafine Onyx Black.
