Spellbinders Limited Edition, Merry Everything Christmas Kit Cards…

Hi cardmakers and friends! My post today is something a little unusual for me! Stick with me and keep scrolling! Five cards today and one is a die cut card from this fun, new kit from Spellbinders!

The Merry Everything Christmas Kit is an ENORMOUS holiday kit that contains OVER 630 PIECES. This gorgeous traditional holiday themed kit can create 25+ Cards, 24+ Tags and so much more. Put your creative juices to work to come up with so many more holiday projects. Plus, check out the project tutorial included in the kit along with all the fun ideas on the kit link, on the SB blog and IG. This card kit is NOT a part of our Clubs, anyone can purchase it, there’s no need to join the Club. YAY!

To add a little detail to my mistletoe card, I scored with my scor-pal a long the lines of the bow and shaped it a little with my fingers. I inked around the focal image with Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks and the mini ink blending tools. I added a little glitter pen to the berries but then scraped it mostly off because it covered up the red.

There is a cute car and tree die set in this kit! I always love cars and trees at Christmas, don’t you?! hehe

I die cut both tree pieces, folded the branch piece in half and colored the trunk with a brown marker. I cut the backer tree piece in half and glued them together and then to the car… so cute! Several other pieces and ways to use the tree in the set also!

Tis the Season is a super cute stamp from the sentiment stamp set that comes in the kit. Super cute and stamped very nicely with Ranger Archival Black ink.

AND… the background paper is from the 6×6 paper pad that comes in the kit!

This card panel …. so beautifully CAS (clean and simple), I just left it that way! I did corner round the cardbase corners… that is all! I know, a cheater card for sure! hoho

Some more of the ephemera and paper from the kit. All I added was gold stickles to the poinsettia center and white gel pen on some of the pieces. Oh, I did edge the papers and the Santa Bingo piece with ink.

On this one, the noel is a sticker from the kit, the hohoho is from a chipboard sticker set in the kit, the tag is one of several tag designs from the kit…so much festive goodness to create with in the kit! So many things I didn’t use yet! :O

There’s even double sided tape and mounting foam squares and dots and the cardstock is really nice… a perfect red in there!

Memory Box Tidings Wreath as a Shape Card…

Hi everyone! The Memory Box holiday stamp release this year is so fabulous! So fun to have a lot of stamp sets! I’m working my way through them…so used to working with dies that I’m loving the challenge of stamps again too!

I started this card by cutting a full piece of 8.5 x 11 Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Smooth 110# cardstock down to 6 x 10 and scoring the 10 side at 5 inches.

I stamped the big wreath, leaving the cardbase folded, using a ‘new to me’ stamp platform and I’m in LOVE with it! The We R Memory Keepers one! I’ll link below. There are two sizes and they’re amazing! hehe SORRY! not really!

I stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. This was Judikins gold and the sentiment is Ranger Superfine gold. I have yet to find the ultimate gold embossing powder. ugh I only have a couple dz already! grr

Before I colored, I cut it out by hand! I know, it sounds like it’d be terrible to cut double and especially this thick cardstock but using my EK scissors that’s really sharp and this cardstock amazingly cut like butter… I was surprised! It was fun! I’ve always enjoyed hand cutting though…something therapeutic about it I guess.

Then I painted the wreath in with Gansai Tambi watercolors. The bluish background is Tumbled Glass Distress ink reinker but the ink from a stamp pad would work the same.

After all was dry, I spattered with white acrylic paint. I’ve also seen gals spattering with the new Distress Oxide Spray! I’m going to try that next. I’ve linked the Hero Arts White Watercolor below… I’ve used that a lot too.

I die cut the new Joy Airy Script die in gold foil/mirror cardstock and white and glued them together. I heat embossed the sentiment ‘to the world’ from the new Merry and Bright Mistletoe stamp set. I trimmed it out with the Cut Align tool from MISTI. I adhered it to the card with mounting tape on each end.

Memory Box Winter Greenery Meets Wreath builder and Snowflake Marquee Cards…

A little more festive to share with you today! One of the smaller branches in the NEW Winter Greenery stamp set was calling my name, wanting to become a wreath! I love how it worked out!

Using the MISTI and the Wreath builder template this is what I came up with.

I stamped the branch around with Taylored Expressions Peapod Premium Ink Pad on Neenah 110# Solar White Cardstock.

Then I stamped with an acrylic block, the set of three circles from the NEW Mistletoe Swag stamp set, with Versamark ink and Judikins gold embossing powder.

The sentiments I stamped in the MISTI and gold embossed also. I really like this card…my first try, I made the circles red and that’s pretty too! lol Me and red berries lately! lol I love that it’s festive and flat for mailing!

This glittery, festive card is flat also! Great for mailing! I tried to capture the sparkle of the glitter cardstock but even though it’s sparkly here, it is so much more sparkly in real life!

I die cut the NEW Marquee Snowflake die in both colors, inlaid the pieces, taped it on the back, die cut the panel with the Memory Box postage rectangle frame and glued it to the red glitter A2 size panel.

The word die Peace Cheshire Script is layered three times and I gold heat embossed the sentiment from the NEW Tidings Wreath stamp set on a strip of vellum.

I love this NEW Snowflake Marquee die…gotta see what else I can come up with using it!

Memory Box Mistletoe Swag and Winter Greenery…

Hi everyone! Pull out some plaid and stick on some greenery! I was inspired by the sketch on one of the current card challenges, link at the end of my post.

I die cut two of the circle from the NEW Stylish Frame Trio set, in Taylored Expressions Toffee cardstock. I inked them a little with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and the mini ink blending tool. I just kinda ‘stomped’ color onto them.

The plaid is from a couple years ago…I’ll try to find some current plaid to link to.

I stamped 4 of the smaller branch in the NEW Mistletoe Swag clear stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Copic x-press it coloring cardstock using the MISTI stamping tool. There aren’t any dies for this stamp set so I used my scan and cut machine but you could easy cut them by hand. I like to cut by hand but the S and C works really nice with the grandkids…I can’t cut fast enough for them! lol

I colored with Copic Sketch Markers…some bright greens! YG03, 06, 09 and 17. The berries are R14, 17, 29 and 59.

I stamped up a bunch of branches from the NEW Winter Greenery stamp set using Lawn Fawn’s Jalapeño ink pad. Then I die cut them all out with the coordinating dies. They matched up and cut really easy and nice. I have some left over for a couple more cards!

The ‘warm wishes’ sentiment is from the Winter Greenery set also… I love this scripty font! So festive! I cut the sentiment with the MISTI Cut Align Ruler and the plaid mat behind it with the ruler also.

Memory Box Mistletoe Swag Stamp Set…

Hi everyone! Have you seen the new stamp sets from Memory Box? So fun to stamp and color! I started out with this new Mistletoe Swag set but I had red on the brain and you’ll have to excuse my lapse in coloring the berries red here. It is now some kind of Winter red berry! I know…. I’m rolling my eyes at myself too.

I colored with Distress Ink reinkers…festive berries and peeled paint. The background is Tumbled Glass.

I spattered with white and blue ink, then sprayed the whole thing with Frost Shimmer Spray.

So many fun words to combine for sentiments in these sets too. I stamped in white ink on black and embossed with white powder.

I die cut the smaller snowflake from the new Bauble Snowflake die set and glued them on. Several small clear sequins glued on for sparkle too.

And look at this! A limited editionSky Blue Big Shot! I know…swooning over a Big Shot. lol Well, it’s a beauty! ❤
