It’s the second Monday of the month and that means it’s Sweet Stamping Pixies Challenge time! The challenge starting today is… your favorite fairy, pixie or sprite!
Here’s Butterfly Lucy from CC Designs to charm you with a little scene I created. I woke up at 4:19 Saturday a.m. with the idea to make the new fence die a heart fence… well…then I had to figure out how to do it because most punches punch from the bottom and would be upside down if you tried to punch from the top! Here’s a video to show you how I did it! I love it! Hope you’re inspired to try it too!

A close up photo of the fence…
Butterfly Lucy is stamped with Colorbox Archival Wicked Black ink on Canson Manga Drawing heavyweight paper and colored with Distress Markers. I stamped the Butterfly Logo with Versafine Onyx Black ink on Bazzill Dawn card-stock and cut it out with a Fiskars mini pinking scissors.
The Flower Border die is cut out of three colors of card-stock. I leave the green together and glue the pink and yellow on top of the green. The Grass Border die is die cut and then crimped with Quilling Creations crimper! LOVE this fun tool! Links below…
The three yellow butterflies flitting around the scene are an EK Success paper shapers punch… the tree limb is my favorite Leafy Branch die from CC Designs Cutters… links below. I used the Rosie’s Roadshow cloud template, Tumbled Glass Distress ink pad and ink blending tool to make my cloud background. I edged the papers and fence with Distress inks and the blending tool.
Thanks so much for stopping by! oh, this was long but I hope you had a good time! I had fun creating this to share with you! Hope you can click over to check out the SSPC blog too!
