I’m using the Grand Holiday Cabinet Card die set along with one die from the Layered Thinking of You Woodland Scene die set.

This was fun to make and so beautiful when finished. I used a cardstock that has a little bit of silver glitter in it. I watched a couple videos so I’d know how to use the sets to get the layers…I’m amazed at how many ways you can change this up!

I love the dimension…I used a silver and gold metallic pen to accent two of the frames.

The illusion of a Winter Wonderland!

The best part is, it collapses to fit in an envelope! Perfect for that special someone in your life that keeps your cards! lol

Spellbinders August Small Die of the Month Club Card….

Hi everyone! I’m back today with the NEW Spellbinders Small Die club of the month kit…all the dies for this come in the kit for one low price! Super cute too!

I got to thinking…that slit! What a cute money holder! So I added 5 bucks to my photos. hehe

Sometimes the stash of old stuff really comes in handy…so glad I still have a couple packages of these old Basic Grey magnets. I’ll try to find some others to link up below.

I used TE cardstock and Lawn Fawn pattern paper for the accent papers on the backpack. Lawn Fawn ink to edge the backpack pieces and crayons.

The zipper and glasses are silver foil/mirror cardstock.

I even had a piece of old history outline paper! I taped it to a piece of white cardstock because it’s so thin.

I took some more photos with a black background…just to make it hard for me to decide what to post! urrrrgghhh haha So just posting both flat and standing up pics today!

It’s an A2 size card and will mail for one forever stamp too! yay!

Spellbinders Happy by Sharyn Sowell Birthday Card…

Hi everyone! Do you love the look of silhouettes like I do? Look at this new release from Spellbinders called Happy by Sharyn Sowell!

I used the animals from the collection. So cute!

Some pattern paper from the ‘ole stash and black cardstock…oh and glue! I used the glue sponge to glue two of each cut together. I need to make a video showing how I use the glue sponge.

I did mount a few with mounting tape and some things are glued flat.

I know these don’t look like Pooh and his friends but they sure remind me of them! lol The most recent book I read with two of our grandsons, Pooh had lost one of his honey pots. Oh tragedy! lol

Can’t help but make a gram smile you know! 😀

I’m anxious to see what all the other cardmakers made with these sets too.

Spellbinders July Small Die of the Month Card…

Look at these cute kitties! I had fun die piecing this set together for this card. It comes with the grass, the sentiment, everything!

I added their little whiskers from a teeny strip of black cardstock. Inked the die cuts with Distress Ink pads and the mini ink blending tool.

I made the ‘polaroid’ frame with a Spellbinders square die cut, then trimmed around it to make the frame.

This will be a birthday card for one of our granddaughters. They kinda look like they ate too much! hehe

Spellbinders June Small Die of the Month Club Cards…

Hi everyone! I’ve been working on these two cards this week using the NEW Spellbinders June Small Die of the Month Club set. (link at the bottom of this post)

Two kinds of stained glass/quilt looking cards!

In the June kit there are three sets of dies that stack/coordinate. A hexagon set, a circle set and a fan looking set. All for a great deal!

I used one layer of the hexagon set for this first card. I die cut a lot of the black one (popped out the waste), then I die cut two of each color cardstock from Taylored Expressions, linked below, all from the same die. The color ones held together well so that made it easy to tape the back (to hole the pieces in) and then glue the black cut on top.

This ended up a ‘Hallmark’ size card. If I was doing it again, I would cut the panel in half and make two cards! 😀

The ‘For You’ sentiment die cut is from the Spellbinders Truckin’ Through the Seasons die set.

My next card is using the circles from the club set.

I lined up the 3 circle dies in a row on top of an A2 card size panel. Taped them in place with removable tape and die cut…repeated it for the next row. It worked slick. I didn’t even measure this time. eek! lol I had six holes in the panel then.

I used mounting tape on the back of the panel and adhered it to a TE Granny Smith A2 size panel so that color would show through when I pieced in the circles.

I die cut the 3 circle dies from white and Taylored Expressions color cardstock. Adhered them together and glued them into the holes in the panel.

I stamped the sentiment with Archival black ink and the MISTI tool. I cut out the word sympathy with the MISTI Cut Align ruler.

I hope I didn’t make it sound complicated because it’s just a matter of cutting enough pieces, after you decide what colors you want to use, gluing and putting them in place. 😀
