Memory Box Cherry Flower Stems on a Brayered Background…

Hi friends and cardmakers! What I want to know is…how’d it get to be Thursday already! haha Last Friday at stamp club we made these brayered backgrounds. I made some into cards already but along the way it hit me, why not put a black floral image on one! So…here it is and I love it!

Just brayer ink on a piece of white…kinda looks like fabric salvages on the edges…well…anyway mine did! lol

This is the Kaleidacolor Caribbean Sea pad and I used a Ranger brayer. I’ll link to everything below. Very fun!

A Memory Box A2 notecard for the base…a white panel die cut with a Stitched Rectangle die and mounted to the base with thin mounting tape and the Memory Box Cheery Flower Stems die cut in black cardstock.

I did mount the flower heads with pieces of thin mounting tape but glued the bottom of the stems flat.

The sentiment is from the poppystamps Valentine Fairies stamp set.

Hi everyone or should I say baaaahhhhh! haha! Time for a Spring release at Simon Says Stamp and what a wonderful selection of Spring designs it is!

I got to play with the new Picture Book Lamb die… I die cut him in white and black textured card-stock and a little pink for his ears. Oh, I added the little red heart from all the V-day leftovers laying on my desk.

I used a new Memory Box circle frame, a sentiment that I just had to add a little twist to! lol I’ll link to everything below…. here’s a closer look.

Memory Box Sweet Bunny Happy Easter Card…

Memory Box new Sweet Bunny hoppin’ your way today. I placed him in a little scene, no camouflage there!

I started with the Forest Branch Collage die, die cut from a MB Kraft notecard, inked the inside edges with Peeled Paint Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool. I colored the branches and leaves with Distress Markers Peeled Paint and Gathered Twigs.

Next layer called the Forest Collage and the top layer called the Everglade Collage…both die cut in MB Kraft and inked the same as the Forest Branch Collage.

I didn’t use mounting tape this time but you sure could…the thinnest is what I’m linking you to below. I just made double cuts of the Forest and Everglade Collage and glued them together to get a bit more thickness.

I die cut the bunny in Hobby Lobby’s Mastertouch Watercolor paper. This is the old version…it’s a little different now but still cool texture. I colored his bunny ears with a Spun Sugar Distress marker. Oh and added a little to his cheeks!

I die cut some teeny flowers from a discontinued die but I linked up below to another die that has teeny flowers in it that would work the same way. I used an embossing stylus to shape the flowers and poked them in the center with a piercing tool.

For the kraft strip, I used the Stitched Divider die and glued the die cut Happy Easter on it.

The top panel is die cut with one of the Wrapped Stitch Rectangles dies.

A little Tumbled Glass Distress ink blended on to the Memory Box White notecard with the mini ink blending tool.

poppystamps Rose Frame and Memory Box Drifting Side Butterfly…

Could be Spring is around the corner? hehe Rained here Monday, snowed here yesterday, back in the 20’s and windy but we can think Spring! Although I prefer snow over rain myself. lol

This is my 3rd version of playing with this new poppystamps Rose Frame. I ended up revisiting my white/pink/kraft and staples cards from HERE and HERE.

I white embossed the sentiment on vellum from the Memory Box Watching the World Bloom clear stamp set and adhered it over a strip of pink card-stock. (this is such a pretty set) I used the wreath on a card HERE.

The poppystamps Berry Sprig die and the Memory Box Drifting Side Butterfly solid die are cut from the same pink.

I used Memory Box white notecards for the frame and outline butterfly.

Some gems and the Tim Holtz tiny attacher and this card was done!

The sun is peeking in and out and looking like it’s going to stay…tricky taking pictures! Oh, this is a 5 inch square card.

Memory Box Grand Stag Oval Frame , Pine Branch Oval Frame, Country Road Oval Birthday Card…

Hi everyone! I needed a masculine birthday card so I revisited some of the fabulous Memory Box nature dies that combine so well.

I love die cutting the Memory Box white notecards…a beautiful white card…just the right weight and die cuts beautiful. I linked to the white A2 size notecards below. I used 3 for this card with scraps leftover that I keep and use for other cuts/cards. Starlitstudio carries most of the colors.

The red plaid for happy birthday is from the Simple Stories Winter Wonderland 6×6 paper pad. (I couldn’t find it to link to)

I inked up the card base with a little Tumbled Glass Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool. I glued the Double Stitched Frame directly to the card. The oval dies were inked with Peeled Paint, Gathered Twigs using a mini ink blending tool and raised up with mounting tape. Happy Birthday was glued directly on the top.

A fun Winter, masculine birthday card that you could glam up to look like clean, sparkly snow. I suppose, since it’s March, I’m not supposed to use that ‘snow’ word anymore this year. hehe Really, this card could work for any season with a few changes.
