Hi friends and cardmakers! What I want to know is…how’d it get to be Thursday already! haha Last Friday at stamp club we made these brayered backgrounds. I made some into cards already but along the way it hit me, why not put a black floral image on one! So…here it is and I love it!
Just brayer ink on a piece of white…kinda looks like fabric salvages on the edges…well…anyway mine did! lol
This is the Kaleidacolor Caribbean Sea pad and I used a Ranger brayer. I’ll link to everything below. Very fun!
A Memory Box A2 notecard for the base…a white panel die cut with a Stitched Rectangle die and mounted to the base with thin mounting tape and the Memory Box Cheery Flower Stems die cut in black cardstock.
I did mount the flower heads with pieces of thin mounting tape but glued the bottom of the stems flat.
The sentiment is from the poppystamps Valentine Fairies stamp set.
Holler if you have any questions! Thanks for stopping by on this beautiful almost Spring day!

Very striking Pam-I love it!
Love the card. I forget about this option for the background, but I’ll probably be doing it very soon.
This is stately and colorful and beautifully CAS, Pam! I love it!! Hugs, Darnell
Gorgeous, Pam! How fun to see what you’ve created with the brayered backgrounds!
Gorgeous! Spring day? We have snow, again.
Very elegant and springy!
Elegant and very quick and easy. Now you are ready for club next month. When I get home I may try to get one ready.
You did everything right with this card. Loved the brayered bg and the black flower die cut is perfect. I don’t think much could spoil today – 72 for a high.
Oh I love that look! I’ve never brayered ink….looks like fun! Thanks for sharing Pam! 🙂
So pretty Pam – it does look like fabric!! Can’t wait for spring here in NJ – still snow on the ground but the daffodils are peeking through!! 🙂
pretty splash of color behind the flower silhouette!
Beautiful! Brayer on, my friend! Can’t wait to see what you do next!
You make the simplest dies look extremely awesome! Love the brayered background and, yes, the edges look like fabric selvage. You’ve got me all wanting to brayer something now. Pretty colors in that ink pad!
Awww, I Love cards that someone feel good and smile! Great Job Pam
