Midsummer Tilda…

Midsummer Tilda is from the Fairytale collection…just love the flowers in her hair and the way it waves. Fun to color…trying distress ink coloring again…not sure why ‘cept that it’s a challenge! lol I made this for the Just Magnolia Challenge blog, a sketch this week. Love the simplicity of it too!

♥ Tilda is stamped with ♥ Versafine Onyx Black ink on ♥ hot press Arches watercolor paper (comes in a big sheet). Then painted/colored in with ♥ Distress Inks. The papers are from ♥ K&Company… ♥ card-stock is prism and via…the cool paper ribbon is from a pack of ♥ Capella Basic Grey ribbon doilies…pretty cool stuff (purchased it at Archivers). I put ♥ Martha Stewart ribbon through the ribbon doily after I inked it good with ♥ walnut stain distress ink. All the edges of everything are edged with ♥ Walnut Stain distress ink and the ♥ Ink Blending Tool. The ovals are die cut with ♥ oval Nestabilities dies. Can’t do words without using the ♥♥♥ Stamp a ma jig, I ♥ that thing!!! Tutorial on using it in my post right before this one. “Thank You is a Hero Arts stamp D4903.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day! I can say I used some scrapbooking paper today anyway! And took some pictures! Doesn’t matter that it was just of a card! lol

I just had to get started stamping and coloring the new Magnolia Spring Kit stamps…this one is called Lady Tilda and is part of the new Fairy Tale collection. She’s so sweet and easy to color too!

Honey Tilda birthday!

Another Easel card…this style really works well for the 6×6 papers and folds up so nice, but most of you already know that because you’ve been making them! lol

Here’s a close up of Honey Tilda sitting on the Honey Jar – so sweet!

Honey Tilda and jar are stamped on 100% cotton Bristol card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch markers, The warm grays… y11, 15, 17, 19…YR 21, 23, 24… E50, 000, 00, 11…R22, 24, 27, 59. The copics really blend easily on this stock but oooooh watch out, they bleed really quick! Reminds me of the Canson Manga card weight paper pad. I like it and look how it changes the flesh colors…the ink doesn’t soak in as much either IMO.

I used Basic Grey Urban Prairie 6×6 pattern paper (I don’t see this one in the store but there are two brand new collections!

Printworks, C1615, sweet on you and Happy Birthday to you (I don’t see the exact same one I have, which is G2003. This one and this one are similar) rubber stamps
I used my Stamp a ma jig to make the “made w/love” and “birthday” sentiments fit on the labels

Spellbinders new large scallop rectangle die
Nellie Snellen punch flowers
Clear gemstones from Hero Arts for the flower centers
Martha Stewart frond punch
Wild Honey distress ink for stamping the background and for edging everything with the ink blending tool

The frame is aged with Ranger Nick Bantock VanDyke Brown ink and the Inkssentials ink blending too l

Tilda from the “So Jolly” Magnolia collection, singing her heart out! An Inkadinkado collage stamp in the background, a Martha Stewart Glacial snowflake punch, prima red flower, Bo Bunny pattern paper and a music notes border punch. Tilda is colored with copic sketch markers.
