Saturday…time for a new Sweet Stop Sketch challenge! I used my new Magnolia Doohickey Doily flowers and Bon Voyage Foliage dies HERE, a new Printworks stamp, D4066 Face Value, HERE (add the item number to the comment box or email/call Nicole to order), The open scallop circle is a Nellie Snellen die but check out the new ones from Spellbinders HERE….aren’t they cool! The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch, pearls are from Hero Arts HERE, Martha Stewart ribbon through Basic Grey paper ribbon HERE. The patten papers are from a mat stack type pad from K & Company. Bazzill card-stocks for the base and matting.
Here’s this weeks sketch!
Hope you can join us …. notice the “spin”! I didn’t do so good with that but I use my age for an excuse a lot – I get sidetracked really easy! oh crazy! Check out what the other gals did… Great inspiration! Thanks for stopping by!
Here’s a new super cute image to color by Inky Impressions… I loved coloring Nickie’s Birdie but I have never tried so hard to get a good photo in all my card creating life! lol Her shoes are sure cute in red! I still remember the pair of red shoes I had in eleventh grade…oh, I LOVED those shoes!
Maybe this close up will show the detail a little better….I hope! ugh!
Nickie is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. I used the elongated rectangle nestabilities dies….I really use that size a lot…it surprises me! The border punches are from Martha Stewart, I just used the lattice part of the deep edger….pattern paper is Quite Contrary from My Minds Eye. I made the flowers with Nellie Snellen punches. The sentiment “a little birdie told me” is from Hero Arts.
I made this to play in the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog this week… a fun sketch, although with just using the corner of the scallop 12×12 paper, I had to take a little liberty with the sketch.
Thanks for stopping by ….Happy Weekend!
Another Easel card…this style really works well for the 6×6 papers and folds up so nice, but most of you already know that because you’ve been making them! lol
The challenge at Just Magnolia blog is an easel card this week…
The challenge at Friday Sketchers blog is the sketch I used….
The Challenge at Cute Card Thursday is anything you like to celebrate each year…birthdays, anniversaries, etc…
The challenge at Saturday Spotlight blog is birthdays and using your birthstone color (mine is aquamarine)….
The challenge at Copic Creations blog is to use your favorite coloring technique from their challenges the last year (mine is coloring black)
Here’s a close up of Honey Tilda sitting on the Honey Jar – so sweet!
Honey Tilda and jar are stamped on 100% cotton Bristol card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch markers, The warm grays… y11, 15, 17, 19…YR 21, 23, 24… E50, 000, 00, 11…R22, 24, 27, 59. The copics really blend easily on this stock but oooooh watch out, they bleed really quick! Reminds me of the Canson Manga card weight paper pad. I like it and look how it changes the flesh colors…the ink doesn’t soak in as much either IMO.
I think that’s it! Happy weekend and stamping! It’s all pretty here again…covered with snow! lol
Time for a new challenge at La-La Weekly Wednesday Challenge blog! Hope you’re having a good week and ready to join in! Jane from the La-la Design Team wants us to use red, lots of red….Be sure to head to the challenge blog to see what the other gals created too! I stamped my background and aged the edges of everything with Van Dyke brown ink from Ranger and the Ink Blending Tool. Martha Stewart heart corner punch and the small Nellie Snellen flower punch set for the red flowers. Teeny script writing stamp is from Magnolia of Sweden. The flourish/scroll stamp is from Stampington. The sentiment stamp is from PSX and I split it up and stamped it straight with the wonderful stampamajig! I entering La-la in the following challenges this week…
La-la with Heart is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with copic sketch markers…photo below. The oval die is a Nellie Snellen die…send Tab an email at 7KidsCollegeFund.com to see if she can get it for you…it’s cool. I backstitched wax linen through the holes.
I’ll be back later today with another post. Finally a snowman!!!
*****You know the teeny brads I’m always using???? well…. GREAT NEWS!!! Tab has them in the store now at 7KidsCollegeFund.com!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! I love these teeny 3mm brads…just perfect everywhere, ‘specially in the centers of flowers and in the label dies! oh, Thank you Tab, now I don’t have to worry about running out! lol*****
I’m so hoping to get Valentines done this week to send to our Grandchildren…not sure it will happen but I want to! I stamped Tilda Blowing Hearts with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Supersmooth Classic Crest 80# card-stock and colored her with Copic sketch markers. (I had her face colored nicely yesterday and then today, I thought I could improve on it and yukked it up! boohoo! I guess it doesn’t really work to come back 18 hours later and start re-coloring. I get tired of education some-times, don’t you?!!! I used the Copic clear Spica glitter pen on her wings. I cut my Bazzill card-stock to 5.5 x 11 in. and scored it at the half mark with my scor-it board.
I stamped on Eclipse tape and then cut inside the lines to create a mask to cover her so I could stamp the Love Heart background over the top of her. I created flowers with the Nellie Snellen flower punch and embosser small size. The stamen is an old Family Treasures punch. Quickutz scroll dies from a Revolution 4×4 die. The red border is a new Martha Stewart scallop heart border punch and the older doily lace border punch on the bottom. I cut the Tilda image out with the Nestabilities label four set, the largest one. The black piece I traced around the die and hand-cut it…not hard at all…but I love to cut!
I’m entering this in some challenges…
Thanks for coming by! Happy Stamping!
Welcome to the Christmas All Year Long blog hop! I’m so excited about this hop because I love creating for Christmas. If you ‘d like to start at the beginning of the hop…go to Julie’s blog. Everyone participating in this hop is using Magnolia rubber stamps for their creation.
Here’s my January card…
One last picture of Tilda close up…
and the copic sketch markers I used to color her…
Thanks for stopping by! I’m linking this up to the Just Magnolia challenge blog also…I used their sketch for this card!
Next stop on the hop is Patricia Garcia…enjoy!
Pink….Lilli loves pink! So, I colored up this Lili (leelee) Fairy from Inky Impressions in ALL pink! I think she’ll like it! I hope, she’ll love it! The challenge right now at Inky Impressions Challenge blog is to use pink and hearts…gonna link up but I don’t have any hearts on here! bum…oh well, we know these images are all “heart”! lol Papertake Weekly Challenge blog is predominantly pink…well, I nailed that and Cute Card Thursday’s challenge is fairy fantastic!
Here she is close up…SOOOOO CUTE! I love these Inky Lili stamps!
She is stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with copic sketch markers. This is my first time to try the flourishy bling! very cool! I am surprised how easy it was to manipulate and get it in the right place! I uesd the Spica clear glitter pen on her wings, it’s so subtle, the camera missed it! lol I love the look IRL though…just the right touch.
The flowers are Nellie Snellen punches and embossers…very cool and available for pre-order at 7KidsCollegeFund.com. They are from the Netherlands.
Here’s what I did inside…
There’s that Martha Stewart crown around the page corner… I used the border and corner punch set on the front. The sentiment stamped on the front, “Bright Wishes” and on the inside, “for a Birthday that outshines all the others“, in Versafine Onyx Black ink, is from Printworks….tons of great birthday sentiments here... check out their clear stamp sets too….some of their images are available in both wood and clear! I used the Stampamajig to get the placement of the Bright Wishes right where I wanted it on the front. Pearls are from Hero Arts. Teeny brads on the front are from Bazzill (coming soon to 7Kids). I think I purchased the little silver things under the brads at JoAnns. Thinking the ribbon is May Arts.
Now to finish a couple more cards for our family January birthday party on Sunday afternoon! Happy Weekend to you and thanks for coming by and seeing my “show and tell”! You know, it’s no wonder we liked Kindergarten! lol
Good NEWS… a Magnolia card from the new release coming soon to this blog…but in the meantime… 7Kids has a big re-stock of images…I had to get some more yesterday and oh, the pre-order for the Winter release is up too, right here! It’s called Raising the Ceiling…
I love this stamp from Inky Impressions, Lili’s Cleaning Day! I just had to make her into a Christmas card. I’m joining the challenge #32, to use Green, Red and White at Colour Create, and Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps challenge to use circles. November is my last month on the Inky Impressions design team. A design team call is going on now…check it out if you love these gals!
Dear Santa, Please send…
Hope you’re LAUGHING!!! hohoho
I colored Lili with copic sketch markers, photo below. The pattern papers I used are from an old Christmas 6×6 set by Memory Box. The history outline paper stamp is by Teresa Collins, comes as a cling mount stamp. The teeny tree is an old Hero Arts from one of those tubs of 18 or so stamps. The holly punch is medium size and it’s not marked who it’s from…I think it’s pretty common though. Hope she makes you smile! I sure had fun coloring her!!!
Do you like the marker pictures?
Just for FUN! Our area stamp club meets this afternoon and I wanted a card to swap. This is what I came up with…. I used the sketch from Just Magnolia…wow, I love it…sketches usually take me forever but this one didn’t! YEA! Thanks Mina!
Dig these new flowers?!!! Awesome… new punch and emboss from Nellie Snellen in the Netherlands…
Paper is My Minds Eye and Bazzil, Fiskars and Martha border and branch punches, Stampin up white taffeta ribbon I dyed with my copic markers, Hero Arts pearls, Tilda from Magnolia and the sentiment from Wordsworth. Hope she makes you smile and get to work! HA! oh and she is colored with copic sketch markers. I colored her a couple days ago and I don’t have a clue what I used. bum, I would like to know myself!!!
Today’s Challenge is to use Inky Impressions Stamps/Image to make a card or project using this fun color combo.
I used Birthday cake Lili and some Hero Arts clear stamps and alphabet to make the Happy Birthday Jesus words…Bazzill cardstock, Cuttlebug paisley die, nestabilities circle dies and the center die is from Nellie Snellen. Lili is colored with copic sketch markers.
Check out the other Inkette’s cards on the challenge blog and stamp a long with us!
I just couldn’t resist when I thought of this idea! Our oldest daughter was born on Christmas Day and she is a red-head! A wonderful wife and mom now! The Happy Birthday Jesus song is stuck in my head! I need to get out some Christmas CD’s! lol
