Memory Box….Winter Wonder…

PamSparksC-masSnowScenesTrio

Happy card making Wednesday to you! Here’s 3 Memory Box cards that scream the wonders of Winter! haha  I love the red hearts. : )

This die truly does live up to it’s name, Spectacular Snowflake.  I die cut it in the pool color card-stock, layered it over a white piece of card-stock, die cut the love into the pool card front piece, die cut the little hearts in the snowflake die and the love die in red card-stock and pieced them in.  A fast card to make and you could vary it/bling it up so many different ways!  I love Christmas!

Then there’s the new Open Studio Dies Snowglobe BasesI used the Stitched Circles but there’s new Pinpoint Circles too!  oh duh, no I didn’t! lol  I used the NEW Stitched Snowflake Circle Frame!  I did use the circles layers dies behind the Snowflake circle. lol

I love the look of falling snow in the scene… the Beaded Background die is perfect for that look.

For the card front, I used the Snowy Scene Background die, it cuts and embosses.

The sweet tree border die is from the Open Studio Wide Open Spaces die set.  The NEW Mama and Baby Deer diesthe holly leaves are from the NEW Newbury Ornament Vignette die set and the heart is from the Cross Stitched Heart die set

The December month stamp is from the Open Studio Clear stamp set Well Planned

The 3rd card just came together too!  Love it when that happens!  There are things you could easy vary here too!

There’s that beaded background again, that’s perfect for snow… yes, I used it the wrong direction but I like it!

The pretty Mountain Evergreen… I left it plain but on one other card I made, after die cutting it, I put it on the beaded background and cut snow into it.  : )

Then the Deer in the Trees … I hand cut the deer out, put the trees behind and the deer in front!

Down to the end…one last die!  The Curved Merry Christmas the perfect foundation for this festive Winter scene.

  1. Oh Pam, your cards are so beautiful! I’m so inspired by your amazing Christmas cards. I’ve learned so much from your tutorials, techniques, colors, and layouts. Thank you Pam!

  2. Wowzers!!! The card, the photography, everything is absolutely stunning! Seriously some gorgeous work done on those cards! Love them!!

  3. Oh I am in love – absolutely in love with these Pam!! Makes me want to go decorate for the holidays and skip October!!

  4. Oh, here you go again making your cards so darned cute I now think I have to have even more dies! You need to stop doing such a great job! ha ha These are just adorable!

  5. These are all just gorgeous! I want to say one is my fave but can’t decide … they all are! Yes, I do want your address to send you one. How fun. Nobody appreciates a beautiful handmade card like someone who also makes them.

  6. I love Christmas too! Your snowflake card is my favorite – what a beautiful card! The white pieces actually look dimensional, almost raised! Great job on all, as always…you rock!

  7. I agree with linda. Love the blue with the white. Love all three. Had to finish order to cindy after seeing
these cards. Favorite was the glove with snow die. So clever…

  8. OMG…your cards are beautiful. I fell in love with the blue and white with a touch of red and, yes, the hearts are so cute….glad to see how you used the color combo. The new release is wonderful…I’ll never be without a wish list….we all need something to hope for….right? LOL

BTW…do you take requests? If so, and if you have it, could you do something with the new Stitched Lattice Background die….pretty please??? I love how that die looks in the catalog, but I always can tell more seeing it actually cut.

  9. Pam ~ You are killing me with all of this new inspiration … I will never be able to acquire all the dies on my wish list as it is!! 🙂

Seriously, I LOVE ALL of today’s cards, but I REALLY LIKE the snow globe scene you put together!!

  10. Love all your cards, especially the snow globe.Just love everything about that card. It’s so cute!!! Got to start thinking creatively with some of my round MB dies. Love all the new ones.

  11. LOVE all of these! And that snowflake die I have as well, yet to be put to use. Stephanie Schutze worked some serious magic with it last year– still think of her card, as did Wida Miller when she was stamping, and now you! Looking forward to getting it out of its wrapping and through my Big Shot!! 🙂

    1. Thank YOU! This snowflake is just new this year. As are all of these dies I used in this post, so you’re probably thinking of the two big snowflake dies that were new last year, Dazzling and and maybe Limoges? I did those up last year when they were new too… https://expressionswithheart.wordpress.com/2014/11/14/memory-box-limoges-snowflake/ and https://expressionswithheart.wordpress.com/2014/07/05/memory-box-dazzling-snowflake-and-limoges-snowflake-cards/

I design for Memory Box, so there are tons of mb cards on my blog. This year’s big snowflake is called Spectacular. I know, I know, it’s hard to keep them all straight! lol Have fun with them! I couldn’t find anything Memory Box on either of these gal’s blogs… if you run into them again… send me the links! 😀
