poppystamps Whittle Forest Reindeer Kit Card and Leaf and Tentril Hot Foil Card…

Hello! How is your Holiday creating going? I cannot believe it’s November can you! Keep scrolling for card #2.

Now this cutie reindeer is going to make you smile!  Isn’t he adorable in his plaid hat!

I love this new die kit and NEW Wintertime Snowflake Frame from poppystamps!

I used the NEW Memory Box Jolly Christmas Plaid 6×6 paper pad…Memory Box Lush Green and Earth Neutral 6×6 cardstock pads.

such a cutie!

The sentiment is part of the stamp set included in the kit.  I heat embossed in white and die cut with one of the rectangle dies from the Birch Press Design Contempo Christmas Greetings die.

I love how it turned out!  I hope you love it too! hehe

On the inside I stamped a greeting from the NEW poppystamps Christmas Sparkle stamp set, ‘You make every day seem like Christmas’.  I love this set!   I used Wendy Vecchi English Ivy Archival ink pad to stamp it.  I just bought her English Ivy and Red Geranium Archival ink pads.  I love them too! lol

TIP: I tell you a lot I love this thin big roll of mounting tape that I link to at the bottom of my posts…I always forget to tell you about cutting it though!  I use the non stick scissors that I finally remembered to link to today!  I’m really glad I went ahead and purchased the scissors from Cindy because it makes a difference with sticky tape.  I love that it’s sticky because I’m assured that my card won’t fall apart after the receiver gets it! I love that it’s easier to mail too!  Win! Win!

Next Card…

NEW poppystamps Leaf and Tendril Hot Foil Plate!  Sooo pretty!  This green cardstock is from my stash but now I’m thinking there’s probably a similar green in the Memory Box Cardstock pad.

I die cut the NEW Memory Box Keep Christmas Curled Script die in gold foil/mirror cardstock.

Then I die cut it in a piece of white cardstock and inlaid the gold into the white so I didn’t have to glue all the lines!  Scor-tape on the back, flip it over and put in the insides of the letters… that’s easier imo. I also love how it looks!  So professional!

I’m not a big bow person but I love it on this card!  The NEW Memory Box Dreamy Bow die in TE Cherry Pop cardstock.

A mess of sparkly trim behind it.  Gold pearls added to dot the ‘i’s and in the corners. I love these gold pearls from starlitstudio.net.  The perfect sizes!

Both of my cards in this post are A2 size.

Birch Press Design Crochet Snowflake Card…

Hi everyone!  Some snow in our future I’m sure but paper snow you don’t have to scoop or blow!  Depending on how many bits fall on the floor I guess! haha

I love the plaids in Memory Box 6×6 pads!  This is one from the new Jolly Christmas PP1019 pad.  I wish I could show it to you in real life.  I love these colors together but once again I struggled for hours to get pictures to show the right colors and I didn’t succeed!  So buy the pad!  You won’t be sorry!

It’s a tealish, more grayish, greenish blueish color IRL.  More like the first picture, but darker.

I used the NEW Birch Press Design Crochet Snowflake Layering Die set… so pretty!  I love it!

I die cut layer C in the plaid paper, then in gold and inlaid the gold into the plaid.

Glued Layer B die cut in black on top of the gold.

Glued Layer A die cut in this teal/gray/bluegreen cardstock I have in my stash on top.

I used the NEW poppystamps Joy Freestyle Script die for the sentiment!

Not a hard card at all but I did cut the layers in all the colors before I decided which ones to use. lol

I added some gold pearls and I almost added more but I wanted that color to show through, so I stopped.

And here’s the inside!  I stamped it with a sentiment from the Memory Box NEW Sweet Christmas set that I love!  It stamps up great and lots of good words!

It’s a square card 5 ½ x 5 ½ inches.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Talk to you again soon!

Memory Box Forest Path Winter Scene Card…

Hi everyone! An all die card to share with you today!

I started with the Memory Box NEW Forest Path die, die cutting it in Memory Box 6×6 glitter cardstock. It’s all sparkly and shimmery in real life!

Added trees… NEW Little Trees and Layered Narrow Pines dies. LOVE the Narrow Pines!

Die cut the NEW Layered Sled ❤ from Memory Box woodgrain cardstock and silver foil cardstock.

A little twine adds so much!

Some Winter glitter glue on the tree tips…

It’s hard to see the glitter in the background but the black is glitter cardstock and shimmery.

I put together one of the snowmen from the Memory Box Snowmen Snowglobe die set and set him in the scene… his black hat is cut from Memory Box Glossy Black cardstock.

He’s so cute!  A red glitter cardstock, sparkly scarf! I colored his nose with an orange Copic marker, his eyes with a black Glossy Sakura Gel Pen.

The scene panel is A2 size but I put it on a larger cardbase so it’d have a border around.  It will fit into an A7 size envelope.

Linking to challenges…

Memory Box Poinsettia Watercolor Floral and Curled Script Video…

Hi everyone!  Look at these beautiful NEW dies!  I love the Curled Script dies and I have a video below to show you how I’m using them… WITHOUT GLUE!

This poinsettia!  SO GORGEOUS!  Memory Box illustrator Dave designs the most beautiful florals all year but I’m always so happy to see the NEW poinsettias every year! I LOVE this one too!

I kept my card clean and white so the designs would pop! White is so ‘Winter’! lol  For us that live in snow country anyway! lol

Again I used the envelope cover picture to put the poinsettia together.  It looks hard!  I even thought, oh, this looks hard!  IT IS NOT HARD AT ALL!  Yay!  I meant to show this in the video but I forgot. ugh

Just lay the largest piece on the envelope cover and layer up with a bit of glue and boom! it’s done!

LOOK at the detail!

Yes I sharpened the photo but it’s so much more beautiful in person!

The holly die… oh yes!  It’s NEW from poppystamps!  It’s called Layered Holly Branch… this die is going to be a staple in the stash! I love it!  I love holly anyway. lol  Tim and I got married in December and we had holly on all the pews and in the floral arrangements… oh, it was pretty and timeless!

I have to tell you….I have turned over a new leaf this year so to speak.  I’m am so bad about not finishing the inside of the card and stamping my name on the back.  So when it’s time to send, I’m hurrying to get cards in the mail… well, so far this year with Christmas cards, I have stamped the inside and my name on the back!  I’m shocking myself! lol  Kinda late for New Year resolutions. hoho

A2 size card…

ok – here’s my video on adhering this type of die…email me if you have any questions. Click on it to see it large.

Thank you so much for coming to see my card.  I hope you’ll try this method and let me know how it goes!

The WINNER IS…. NEW Memory Box Gloriette Snowflake Collage Card

Congratulations Nancee!  Email me your address and I’ll get this in the mail to you! ❤

So a month or so ago, on a Saturday afternoon, I made a bunch of backgrounds on watercolor paper following Jill Foster’s tutorial video!  It was so much fun!  I ended up with 35 pieces this size!!!  I know, you’re laughing at me but it was so fun!  I’m using two for the first time today!  I need to use them so I can make some more!

The New Memory Box Gloriette Snowflake Collage die is great fun too!  Just wow, so many variations you can come up with using the two dies that come in this envelope!

Top picture is what I did first, then I had leftover pieces and instead of making another card at the time I glued them together and made another snowflake which could be a tree ornament or a tag but to show you how it looks on a card I took a picture of it inserted into this card!

Really pretty both ways!  I love this set!

So then I needed to fill in a little bit so I die cut the NEW Memory Box Starburst Snowflake Discs and just used the snowflakes from the cuts and glued them directly to the card front.

What’s a card without words?  Is it still a card? hoho  I wanted words so I die cut the NEW Memory Box Merry Christmas Curled Script die three times and glued them together.  I love it!  I love that the dot for the i is on the flourish of the capital M!  I’m always losing those little dots!   I lost an exclamation mark clear stamp this week.  So crazy! lol

I’m really tickled that I actually stamped inside this card and even stamped the back with my name stamp!  Normally I wait until the last minute then I’m hurrying but I wanted to use this NEW Memory Box Sweet Christmas stamp set because it matches the font of the Merry Christmas die on the front!  It’s a beautiful sentiment set!  I always love a match too!

See?  Isn’t that pretty! Many more to choose from too.

ok – I’m gonna quit talking now and get links made and try to get out of the house for a bit this afternoon!  It’s so beautiful out! Sun is shining and I love the cooler temps!  🙂

Have a beautiful weekend and enjoy Cardmaking day tomorrow or whatever it’s called. hehe
