MFT BB Cool Cat Purr-thday card and sale…

Pam Sparks Anya's b-day card 2016

Hi everyone! I’m sharing a birthday card I made with MFT stamps BB Cool Cat stamp and die sets today.

One of our granddaughter’s, Anya, turned 11 the beginning of May! Wow, time flies. She loves to stamp and color with Copics and was so delighted to get her birthday present this year…a Mini MISTI!  I think this picture of her says it all! lol

IMG_7928

I used the old Swiss Dots embossing folder for the background…remember when we all went ga-ga for this folder?! lol  It’s a timeless one!

poppystamps window and end table dies (inked with Gathered Twigs Distress ink) and MFT Blueprint set #27 for the banner. (the end table is discontinued, grrr)

I colored this ‘princess’ kitty, her ‘throne’ and the bouquet with Copics. hehe

I embossed the window curtain die cut by leaving the cut in the die and running a stylus over the parts that emboss on the die cut/card-stock side. HERE’s a video about it. Then using the ink blending took, I inked the raised edges with Distress ink Spun Sugar. (the curtain is discontinued, I’ll link to MFT’s window set)

I’m still LOVING this white pen from Starlitstudio.net that Cindy sent me.  It makes the best little white dots! and white lines too! YAY!

Dies R Us Challenge – Birthday

I used My Favorite Things Build-able Bouquet stamp set/die set, Inside and Out Stitch Rounded Rectangles, Distressed Patterns stamp set and sentiment from So Much Love stamp set.

I stamped with the MISTI, die cut, colored with Copic Sketch markers. I die cut the banner and then stuck it back in the die and cut again to make it shorter.

Five Cute A2 Just a Note cards…

Pam Sparks 5 cute poppy cards

Hi stamping, coloring, die cutting, creative friends!  Pictures are ready, page open to start blogging and it dawns on me, I should be posting something for Mother’s Day! lol  Hmmmm…maybe tomorrow! hehe

Today I have 5 cards I made using two poppystamps  sets, Mail Delivery stamps and dies and Easter Excitement stamps and dies. I could’ve easy made 5 more!  How fun is that and what a variety of cuteness!

Pam Sparks ps Mail Delivery Bike

I stamp, die cut and then color.  The backgrounds are Distress inks applied with the mini ink blending tool.

White pen accents added with a white pen that SLS just started carrying, thanks to the heads up from Linda!  Thank you Linda!

I used the MISTI to stamp the sentiments. Distress ins on this one are Hickory Smoke for the sidewalk and Salty Ocean for the sky.

Since it’s time to plant…what a perfect card for that gardening friend!

Pam Sparks ps Dig In Fence Carrot

Here I used the Memory Box Shaker Square Frames die set and for the background layer a square from the Memory Box Stitched Square Layers die set. Salty Ocean and Gathered Twigs are the Distress Ink blended background colors.

I cut a slit in the bottom to fit the carrot into the ‘dirt’. The butterfly antennae is drawn on with a black pen.

Pam Sparks ps Mail Delivery

oh yes!  I love this one…it’s all about the mail! lol  A couple washi tapes a long the bottom.  The airmail is from Little B and the special delivery is from October Afternoon.

I added a few embossed lines with the Scor-buddy to simulate house siding. fun!

Pam Sparks ps Tree Just A Note

Always fun to find a tree in a set to color!  The same frame and stitched dies that I used above, just a larger stitched square for the background. I used Salty Ocean (pounced it off on scrap paper more) and Mowed Lawn for the ink blending on this one.

Copic Coloring and NEW SSS release!

1_121

Oh my, sharing the card I made with Simon Says Stamp’s NEW release “My Favorite”.  Love the bike…love the flowers… and then critters with personality! Click on over to see the full release HERE.

Pam Sparks SSS Koala

SSS sent me the new Cuddly Critters stamp set to color up.  I used Copic Sketch markers in the Warm grays 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7. I stamped him twice, cut him out completely once and then cut just his arms out of the second image, so he could hold the heart.

The grass is Mowed Lawn and then Twisted Citron Distress inks, blended on with the mini ink blending tool, under the stitched line .

The sky is Tumbled Glass with a little Broken China, blended on with the mini ink blending tool, above the stitched line.

I die cut the frame with SSS Stitched Rectangle dies. The stitched grass line is from The SSS Stitched Slopes and Hills die set.

The heart is die cut from a Memory Box stitched heart die set.

MFT Card Challenges: Wednesday Sketch…

Pam Sparks MFT Warm Hugs

Hi everyone!  I’ve been thinking about getting in on the MFT Challenges for sometime and today is a start!  YAY!

Here’s the sketch…I flipped it over for some reason! lol

274

It’s cooled off some here again… Sunday it was 82˚ but yesterday we were just in the lower fifties!  So sending some warmth is good! lol

I masked off with poster tape and inked a strip in the stitched square with Salty Ocean and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  Then I have the cool Homespun Stitch Lines set from MFT and I used the Blanket Stitch one on both sides of the inked strip.  It doesn’t cut the paper it just embosses it!

The pillow, rug and sentiment are from the Merry Christmoose stamp and die sets with the cute moose.  I’ll link up below. I stamped the images with the MISTI and Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

Spotted MFT

I hope you’re as warm as you want to be, via coffee, cocoa or the weather!

Thanks for stopping by!
