Hello everyone! So fun to get back into coloring this week! This month is the Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge. I will link up on Instagram but I wanted to share my card here too.
Christmas and holly, two of my favorite things! The brown paper package this time is the brown paper Hero Arts die cut wood frame! I die cut it 3 times, glued them together to get the real ‘frame’ look. Then I inked it all with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and the mini ink blending tool.
I gold heat embossed the A2 size cardbase with one of the stamps from My Favorite Things Distressed Panels stamp set.
The Holly and Merry Christmas are from Ellen Hutson’s Mondo Holly stamp set. I gold embossed on Hot Press Watercolor paper and colored with Karin Brushmarkers. What awesome markers… full of ink and joy! lol I just put a little ink down and pull it out to color in with a waterbrush. Let it dry, then do it again. I didn’t keep track of how many times I came back and colored again! There’s just something about adding more color here and there. Yes, therapy! Here’s a post I made on IG back in March showing the markers I used for this card. It’s so cool to be able to actually see the ink in the marker barrel!
I added mounting tape cut to fit on the backside of the holly and the sentiment. The frame is glued directly to the cardbase.
It’s ready to head out the door one of these days. I tell you, I get attached to these cards sometimes and it’s hard to let them go but I must! I’ve been sorting cards this week. The spare bedroom is covered with cards. I’m making progress but it sure doesn’t look like it! I would type ‘lol’ but it’s not funny! I must do better at staying organized!
Here’s hoping you’ve had some creative days this week! There’s so much I want to make! I keep seeing more things I want to buy! It’s dangerous out there gals! lol As if you don’t already know. haha
oh dear, I’ll shut up…have a great weekend and I’ll catch up again with you soon! Thank you so much for stopping by!
A few links for what I used…pssstttt…great gift ideas for oneself! 😀

This is a pretty dangerous place to visit too! Each time I drop by I find myself ‘needing’ new supplies! Lol…I hear you on cards, but I’m doing much better. I donate a bag full to a veterans home every couple of months. That’s helpful! Pam, this is gorgeous! I totally love that frame, and the Holly is so pretty. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much Patti! Made me laugh…I’m pretty needy right now too!

So pretty. Love, love, love it!!!
I’m rather fractured these days…so many projects at one time… cards, tags, gifts that need wrapping, Christmas trees I make for charity events, etc. I do have all our Christmas gifts purchased…we start very early on those. (sigh)
If you have spare cards, local assisted living or nursing homes might be an option. Some of those people don’t have family close by.
Have a nice weekend. Thanks for all the inspiration.
Thank you so much Jan! I think you speak for all of us at Christmas time! A lot of the cards I’m sorting are cards I’ve received that I want to keep. Just figuring out how to organize…. card explosion! lol

Beautiful card Pam, nice coloring and that frame is fabulous!
Yes, Pam, it is a dangerous world for crafters and cardmakers. Every time I visit your blog (daily), it gets more dangerous for me. You make some of the most fabulous cards! I gave up my blog a few years ago as I had to choose between making cards and posting on my blog. Making cards won as I still work full time.
Thank you so much Deb! I understand! It takes a lot of time getting photos taken and then writing up a post. Glad making cards won!

Gorgeous card Pam! Beautiful colouring, love the splatter and that frame finishes this off perfectly!
That is a beautiful card, Pam! Your ideas never seem to end, and you keep inspiring me.
Gorgeous!!
Oh boy-I could buy something new every day! But……………when I find myself buying something new and not having time to use it before I forget what I was going to make…..it’s time to slow down the purchasing-ha ha!!! I have dozens of notes around to remind me of things I want to try-but can never find them when I have some time. They seem to get buried-ha ha Such a beautiful card Pam-but I am still making Halloween cards (for next year) while I still have all my stuff out!!
Oh it’s beeeeeautiful!! Your coloring is gorgeous and all the gold embossing looks magnificent! And I hear you too about all the cards and the dangerousness out there! LOL! I stay in trouble all the time! Haha!
Great card. Love the way you did splatters.
Wow… this is a real beauty! Gorgeous card!
So beautiful Pam!! Your coloring is incredible and you are so inspiring!!!!!!
Your card again is sooo fabulous — beautiful colors, composition and just a delight to look at!
Ohhh, so the splatters are a stamp! I thought there might be a story to that. They look fantastic! Speaking of fantastic, your embossed and colored holly is the epitome of fantastic. Wow! Also love the wood frame which I do have, so thankfully I’m not going to be enabled this time to buy it. I’m well acquainted with the dangers out there in Influence Land! I’ve been very bad lately, but you know I just love it. Really fun post today, Pam! Wish I could come help you sort those cards!
Stopping by from Patti’s blog…yes…Patti was right, your cards are just stunning, have a blessed day, hugs, Lori m
