the new dies again….

I had fun again this afternoon playing with the NEW Leafy Branch and Phlox dies… I don’t think they’d hire me for flower arranging at the florist but I sure enjoy trying with paper!   The dies and new stamps are in the store now… links below!

I used some paper and die cuts from a Kaisercraft 6×6 Christmas pattern paper pad… can’t find it anywhere to link to.  All That Scraps did have it so hopefully you already have it too!   Bazzill card-stock and a holly punch from The Punch Bunch.  The pearls are from Hero Arts and I colored them with a YR23 copic sketch marker.  The sentiments are from  Amy R Stamps Merry and Bright sentiments set,  linked below. On the inside I used the Friends sentiment from the Handy Greetings Amy R Stamps set.  I edged everything with Walnut Stain Distress ink and the ink blending tool.

I’m linking to a Christmas anything goes challenge at Joan’s Gradens Weekly Challenge… another fun store!

I’m linking to the Christmas Wishes challenge at Joanna Sheen Challenges blog… I love this store too!

Holler if you have any questions.  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the new CC Designs December Release!  I appreciate it!

Meet Max and Georgia…new Winter Kids

So cute!  Having fun in the snow!  Four new Winter Kids from Sweet November this December release.  To see the other two, Tess and Zach and see more creations with all four,  click over to the ALL That Scraps blog, HERE.

I had that space there to the left of Max and thought…tree…then Leafy Branch die…clip, clip and it’s a tree! lol

The December release will be in the store tomorrow night at 10 p.m.  I’ll come back here and add links to the new stuff if you want to check back.

Brrrr… it got cold here in Iowa this week!  Supposed to warm up Saturday… I’ll be ready for that!  Time for some cocoa this a.m.!

I used old American Crafts Holiday/Winter paper today… I know…bad of me but I always love a row of houses…if the paper has houses on it,  I want it… then I hoard it and use pieces here and there! lol  ‘fess up…you’re hoarding something too! lol

I’ll be back to add links after I grab a bite of breakfast!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing the fun of stamping with me!

You’re gonna love this die!!!

Look at how pretty and frilly the new CC Designs Cutters Leafy Branches die is!!!  The perfect filler for flower embellishing on cards!!  YEA!  I LOVE it and you will too!   The other great thing about it is….there are two branches on the die…one goes one direction and the other goes the other direction…none of this having to turn it over after it’s cut and looking different!!!  rah, rah, rah!  Thanks Christine (CC Designs isllustrator)!  It’s just what I wanted!

Another new die I used today is the Phlox flower…three sizes… so pretty!!!  I love it as a Poinsettia!   The Leaves die is from an earlier release,  oh,  you remember what I told you about it from an earlier post?!  You don’t want me to go into cheering mode?! lol  So fun to work with! They cut wonderfully!  Really, truly and they come out of the die!

The “with love” sentiment is NEW this month from CC Designs Amy R Stamps, called Heart-y Sayings!  A very cool set indeed! I used Simple Stories Christmas 6×6 pattern paper pad… Quickutz holly photo turns die and a red brad.  Little pearls from Hero Arts that I dyed with Adirondack alcohol ink.  Bazzill card-stock to die cut the flowers and leaves.

Today’s our 36th Wedding Anniversary!  Where does the time go!  I thank God every day for Tim!  He’s the best!   It’s snowing here… I know that will make some of you very jealous…really?  hehe  Not much yet but enough to make it look so pretty.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Back From the Past…

Christmas Trevor is patiently awaiting the moment he can tear into these presents!  He’s so cute with his antler headband and candy cane shirt!  I colored him with Copic Sketch Markers…check my post from yesterday for the link to Dick Blick’s sale and a great price on Copics!  Then in the sidebar on the right… Copic refills HALF PRICE!!!  I already ordered what I needed… yea!  Hair E 13, 15, 18, 19 … Skin E000, 00, 01 … Shirt B000, 00, 02, 05 …Pants and shoes E40’s …

I started out with the Sweet Stop Sketch challenge blog open on my computer….It was the inspiration behind this card…might not look exactly like it… but that’s where I started!  Sketch SSS136.  Thanks Korin for the great inspiration!

I’m linking to Craft Your Passion Challenge Blog – the them is “tis the season”.

I had to try out my new EK Success ornament border punch… love it!  I linked to it on Amazon because that was the only place I found it in stock online.   Super cute Imaginisce chipboard sticker and die cut tree… links below.  Echo Park 6×6 Season’s Greetings pad,  in stock at ATS.

on the inside I used some more of the Season’s Greetings pad and a brand NEW Printworks sentiment from their Christmas release.. love it!  I linked to it below also.  Since we’re all thinking about PRESENTS!  (and buying our own, hehe)  I linked up some of the tools and things I use all the time!  I LOVE the Color Bee Scissors!!!!  I have a zillion pairs but for fussy cutting…these are the best!!!!  My friend Alice clued me in to them and I became a believer immediately!   They are the only ones I use for cutting out images!  They last too…well,  don’t get glue on them… use one of those other pairs you thought would be good to cut out that stuff w/glue on it! lol   I use the Tim Holtz Tonic scissors for cutting rubber stamps….they’re grrrrreat!

I heard gals rave about Craft mats for a couple years before I finally purchased my first one a few years ago…now I have two! hehe   Can’t create without it!   Same with the ATG gun… oh my… definitely the most $$$ saving thing I own!!!   I am not kidding…. the best thing!  I know… it’s big… BUT… mine sits on the floor,  right where I can put my arm/hand down and grab it…gotta have it!  Then the Stamp a ma jig… yep… I use it every time I make a card or anything that needs lined up… another BEST thing!  The Tonic 12×12 Trimmer….cuts straight… yep, it does and the Martha Stewart scoreboard….true love!  Course you know I have videos under my tutorial tab for making envelopes with it… AWESOME!  All this “stuff” makes me happy!  If you need more ideas for what to buy yourself… stamps and dies…can’t go wrong! hohoho!

That sentiment pretty much says it all!  Check out the new Printworks website… HERE … The Limited Edition Snowman is available now.

May your Season be full of stamping… your halls decked with paper scraps and die cut waste…creations all over the place!!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Cyber Monday and Winter Tilda…

Tried my hand at distress ink coloring again… The new Tim Holtz Winter Distress Ink collection was just sitting there on the desk looking neglected!  I do love the colors!   Special price on them at Simon Says.. link below.  The Happy Holiday and red pearl brads are from Bo Bunny.

I used the sketch  and I’ll be linking up, from the challenge blog Stempeleinmaleins, HERE   The Happy Holiday brad is the “text” in the sketch.  I had fun with it!

The  snowflakes are from Marvy…three sizes.  I used a sheet of Christmas ad looking paper from the Echo Park Season’s Greetings 6×6 pad to punch them.  It’s linked below.
