Memory Box Scribble Snowman Card…

I saw the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches and I had to play!  Does that ever happen to you? You see something and you have to go make!  If I don’t do it right away I forget and the deadline helps me get it done too! lol

I’m loving the new paper pads from Memory Box so I paired it up with the new Scribble Snowman dies and a new poppystamps Holly Outline die for this quick CAS card!

I do like to edge my pattern papers with distress ink and the round mini ink blending tools.  I know everyone is changing to brushes and I have those too but the mini foam works great for edging lightly with ink.  I used Gathered Twigs.

I needed words!  So I started reading stamp sets. lol  This poppystamps Whittle Everyday set had the perfect ones!

Then I had a few snowflakes laying on my desk… oh yes, the snowman needs a flake! haha

Thanks for clicking over and checking out my card!  I appreciate your visit!  Links below to what I used if you want to see exactly!  I thank you so much for clicking and shopping if you do too! ❤

Memory Box Pine Tree Hill Card and Birch Press Design Splendor Bevel Card…

Hi everyone! Happy card Saturday! Can’t say happy winter yet!  whew! lol

I started out making a Distress Oxide background A2 size panel with Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot inks. I used the round foam mini blending tools for this because I put down a pretty heavy layer of each ink.

I let it dry, spattered it with water, spattered it with gold ink, let it dry again and die cut it with the new Memory Box Starry Burst die.

I die cut and embossed the new Memory Box Pine Tree Hill die from Classic Crest 110# cardstock, stamped happy Winter from the Memory Box Winter Greenery clear stamp set, with the We R Memory Keepers Precision Press Advanced Platform… love this set!

I attached the tree panel to the background panel with foam mounting tape.  That’s it!

Peace always makes me think blue and night sky-ish!  Here I went with blue glitter cardstock for the panel behind the new Birch Press Design Splendor Bevel Plate and Mini Splendor Bevel Plate sets… glam it up!

Die cut everything in white and then layer it up!

For the Holly, I grabbed a Memory Box die, Antique Holly Label and poppystamps Holly Outline for the berries. Die cut them from glitter cardstock too!

The beautiful Peace die is also new from Birch Press Design, Peace Honey Script.  I can’t wait to use it by cutting the background layer die from a cardstock panel and the word peace mounted on the card base inside the background cut.  Like I did on this card…

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back soon!

New Memory Box Snowman Circle Collage and Bauble Snowflake Corner Card…

Frosty here… and yes he does come with two hats and a scarf, so cute!  I left him plain jane today but it’s still magical frosty with this beautiful Bauble Snowflake Corner!  HERE he is made up (by MB owner, Dave) all colorful cute on the cover of the new Look Book.

I die cut and flat glued everything.  Stamped the sentiment with We R Memory Keepers Advanced Precision Press and Black Archival ink.

I added a few baby white pearls on the snowflakes and black tiny gems for his buttons.

A very sweet, clean and simple card.  He’ll be back again someday!

I hope you’re enjoying all the new products from Memory Box!  During September, Simon Says Stamp had posts on Instagram introducing stamp and die company owners.  One they posted was Dave and Monica that own Memory Box, poppystamps and Birch Press Design!  So if you click HERE, it’ll take you to that post and you can meet them and see their picture! (you might have to scroll up, over in the text part to read the post) Fun!

Thank you for stopping by!  Talk to you again soon!

Spellbinders Limited Edition, Merry Everything Christmas Kit Cards…

Hi cardmakers and friends! My post today is something a little unusual for me!  Stick with me and keep scrolling!  Five cards today and one is a die cut card from this fun, new kit from Spellbinders!

The Merry Everything Christmas Kit is an ENORMOUS holiday kit that contains OVER 630 PIECES. This gorgeous traditional holiday themed kit can create 25+ Cards, 24+ Tags and so much more. Put your creative juices to work to come up with so many more holiday projects. Plus, check out the project tutorial included in the kit along with all the fun ideas on the kit link, on the SB blog and IG. This card kit is NOT a part of our Clubs, anyone can purchase it, there’s no need to join the Club. YAY!

To add a little detail to my mistletoe card, I scored with my scor-pal a long the lines of the bow and shaped it a little with my fingers. I inked around the focal image with Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks and the mini ink blending tools. I added a little glitter pen to the berries but then scraped it mostly off because it covered up the red.

There is a cute car and tree die set in this kit!  I always love cars and trees at Christmas, don’t you?! hehe

I die cut both tree pieces, folded the branch piece in half and colored the trunk with a brown marker.  I cut the backer tree piece in half and glued them together and then to the car… so cute!  Several other pieces and ways to use the tree in the set also!

Tis the Season is a super cute stamp from the sentiment stamp set that comes in the kit.  Super cute and stamped very nicely with Ranger Archival Black ink.

AND… the background paper is from the 6×6 paper pad that comes in the kit!

This card panel …. so beautifully CAS (clean and simple), I just left it that way! I did corner round the cardbase corners… that is all!  I know, a cheater card for sure! hoho

Some more of the ephemera and paper from the kit. All I added was gold stickles to the poinsettia center and white gel pen on some of the pieces.  Oh, I did edge the papers and the Santa Bingo piece with ink.

On this one, the noel is a sticker from the kit, the hohoho is from a chipboard sticker set in the kit, the tag is one of several tag designs from the kit…so much festive goodness to create with in the kit!  So many things I didn’t use yet! :O

There’s even double sided tape and mounting foam squares and dots and the cardstock is really nice… a perfect red in there!

So glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoyed my wandering from my usual type posts.  It was fun for me! I’ll be back because I have lots more to share!
