poppystamps Perfect Posies Bouquet Card…

Hi everyone! Another floral card to share today.  I need to glue pink paper flowers to my three hydrangea bushes!  No flowers on them yet!

I die cut the poppystamps NEW Perfect Posies Bouquet die two times in white.  I inked up one in green distress oxide colors using an ink blending brush and the other I trimmed off some of the flowers to ink up in pink distress oxide colors.

There are a few blooms on this Posies die that match up with the blooms in the NEW poppystamps Petite Blooms Flower Set, so I used the two smaller sizes of those for pink blooms.

I cut an A2 size panel of white cardstock, die cut it with the Memory Box Pinpoint Leaf Plate, then embossed it with the Memory Box Blooming Sweet Pea 3D Embossing Folder.  The dots make it look like a bee has been buzzing around! lol

I used a white Posca pen to color the little green blooms white on the green Perfect Posies Bouquet die cut.

Memory Box has come out with a lot of Foil and Cut die sets this time.  This is a new to me technique but I’m getting the hang of it.  I really like how pretty and elegant they make a card sentiment.

For this card I used the NEW poppystamps Modest Greetings 1 Foil and Cut die set.  Gold foil on white cardstock.  I love having a die to just cut one sentiment.  I’m not one to make a bunch of stuff ahead.  I just make as I go along to go with what I’m making.  It’d be fun to do a survey and find out how many make a bunch of elements and then sit down and make cards.  I wish I could.  It overwhelms me to have too much to choose from.  Interesting… I bet there’d be a lot of creative ways to go about making cards!

There’s a NEW Memory Box Intricate Mini Butterflies die so I had to add one to my card.  I die cut it in white and inked it with Squeezed Lemon Distress Oxide ink.

I added some Fairy Drops and it was done.  YAY!  It’s kinda vintagey looking in a modern way!

I can’t believe it’s Friday already!  Hope you’re getting some Summer things done…eek!  It’s time I did! lol

Spellbinders 20th Birthday Celebration and SALE!

Hi everyone! Time to celebrate another birthday!  It’s hard to believe Spellbinders has been around 20 years!  I can remember when they first started in the papercrafting business! Remember the Wizard?  We’ve come a long way! lol

I had the opportunity to post for them today and you know I’m always up for an interactive die design!

I’m showing my take on the Pick Your Greeting Slider Die set, the Slider Bar Accents die set and the Complimentary Slider Greetings stamp set. They’re all a part of the Birthday Celebrations Collection.

As you pull the tab, the arrow moves up and down the sentiments…

So cute! I think this would be super fun with stickers also for a quick and easy card…last minute…although just die cutting is fast too.

Just looking at these pictures makes me want cake! haha

I put a little white pigment ink on the die and pressed the die cut back in the die to get the letters ‘PULL’ to show up more.

I die cut the white tab frame in white cardstock and used mounting tape strips on three sides and small pieces on the top for the stopper.

On the inside it’s very clean and simple but a GREAT BIRTHDAY message!

And back to the top!  I love easy to make interactive cards.  Super cute sets… check them out at the links below! If you’re like me, you always need more birthday cards! Enjoy the celebration!

p.s. I added a reel with another slider made with stickers on Instagram… go see it HERE and turn up your volume!  ❤

Memory Box Charlotte Blooms and More…

Are you a fan of lime?  This is one of the sheets from the Memory Box Lush Green 6×6 cardstock pad!  It turned out fun!

Love this sentiment set from Poppystamps too! I stamped it directly on the panel, then on white and cut out the banner and mounted it over the stamped banner. Say It Big is the stamp set and it has coordinating dies too!  Love that!

For this card I die cut the NEW Memory Box Charlotte Blooms dies in white cardstock and with the mini ink blending tool, colored the centers with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

I die cut the Leaves from the Charlotte set in the same green as the background.

I glued the flowers and leaves directly to the green card panel.  The only thing popped up a bit is the banner.

This is an A6 size card.

The first card I made using the Charlotte Blooms and Leaves die set is the one below…I die cut in the yellows from the Memory Box 6×6 Sunny Orange cardstock pad.  The flower centers from the Earth Neutral pad. The leaves from the Lush Green pad.

For the butterfly I used the Memory Box Gloriosa Butterly Duo Outlines die, the smaller one from the set and the underneath butterfly is the NEW Memory Box Ava Butterflies die, die cut from the Sunny Orange cardstock pad.  Fun!  It you use Ava on it’s own, you can fluff up the sections I think.  I still have to try it. lol

I wanted to tie in the foiled New Memory Box Posh Birthday Wishes hot foil and die set so I used the poppystamps Scalloped Stitch Frames die cut in Woodsy Plaid 6×6 pad and NEW Polished Foil 6×6 pad.

Kraft cardbase and A2 size.

Thank you for stopping by today!  We’re watching the grass grow, thankful for rain!

Birch Press Design Prime Peony Duo Contour Layers Card…

Hi everyone!  This week has zoomed by me! But it’s Peony time of year and a perfect time to showcase this beautiful new die from Birch Press Design.

I watercolored these blooms with the newest set of Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens Set A. Die Cut with Strathmore watercolor Brown pad.

Then I added a frame from the poppystamps Scalloped Stitch Frames die set.

I ink blended an A2 size panel of Strathmore Best Mixed Media cardstock (the brown pad).  Wow it blends nice.  I used Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide for the first time! and Peacock Feathers. I still use the mini round ink blending foams a lot and that’s what I used here.

Hugs is a new hot foil plate and die set from Birch Press Design also.  Hugs Sugar Script is the name of it.

I used silver hot foil and Bazzill Card Shoppe Robin’s Egg for Hugs.

I glued everything flat except for hugs.  It has thin mounting tape on the ends. Starlitstudio has it in stock!  I’ll link below!

Thank you for stopping by today!  I appreciate it and hope you have a lovely weekend.  The weather has been amazing here this week! YAY!

Simon Says Stamp Arched Greens and SALE!

Back again today with a NEW stamp from the latest Simon Says Stamp release

I received the rubber stamp Arched Greens to create with.  The center Arch section is removable!

I stamped it all in the MISTI on Canson XL watercolor paper with regular Distress inks.  I inked up the stamp and spritzed it and stamped it.  I used two different greens and the new prize ribbon blue.

It needed some flowers so I got out the NEW Birch Press Design Wispy Blooms Contour Layers die set.  I die cut in the same watercolor paper and smooshed the cuts into Worn Lipstick Distress Ink that I’d spritzed with water.

I die cut the center out with the Memory Box Nested Globes die… it was a little short so I had to use the mat to keep it from cutting the bottom straight line, then readjust the die to lengthen the cut. SSS does have a die set that coordinates with this stamp!

The sentiment is a new poppystamps hot foil plate and die set with several sentiments.  I’ll link it below too.
