Hi everyone! Another floral card to share today. I need to glue pink paper flowers to my three hydrangea bushes! No flowers on them yet!
I die cut the poppystamps NEW Perfect Posies Bouquet die two times in white. I inked up one in green distress oxide colors using an ink blending brush and the other I trimmed off some of the flowers to ink up in pink distress oxide colors.
There are a few blooms on this Posies die that match up with the blooms in the NEW poppystamps Petite Blooms Flower Set, so I used the two smaller sizes of those for pink blooms.
I cut an A2 size panel of white cardstock, die cut it with the Memory Box Pinpoint Leaf Plate, then embossed it with the Memory Box Blooming Sweet Pea 3D Embossing Folder. The dots make it look like a bee has been buzzing around! lol
I used a white Posca pen to color the little green blooms white on the green Perfect Posies Bouquet die cut.
Memory Box has come out with a lot of Foil and Cut die sets this time. This is a new to me technique but I’m getting the hang of it. I really like how pretty and elegant they make a card sentiment.
For this card I used the NEW poppystamps Modest Greetings 1 Foil and Cut die set. Gold foil on white cardstock. I love having a die to just cut one sentiment. I’m not one to make a bunch of stuff ahead. I just make as I go along to go with what I’m making. It’d be fun to do a survey and find out how many make a bunch of elements and then sit down and make cards. I wish I could. It overwhelms me to have too much to choose from. Interesting… I bet there’d be a lot of creative ways to go about making cards!
There’s a NEW Memory Box Intricate Mini Butterflies die so I had to add one to my card. I die cut it in white and inked it with Squeezed Lemon Distress Oxide ink.
I added some Fairy Drops and it was done. YAY! It’s kinda vintagey looking in a modern way!
I can’t believe it’s Friday already! Hope you’re getting some Summer things done…eek! It’s time I did! lol
ttul,
Here’s what I used to make this card

Such a beautiful, delicate creation! Love the soft colors, and that embossing folder rocks! Especially when paired with that fun die!
Spring is here on your card. It would be nice if we had spring weather and not the hot stuff we have been having. Anyway, the card is beautiful. The pink and white are so spring.
Lovely bouquet, and such a pretty background for it too!
Lovely layers and divine details – so loving this embossed background, and that hint of yellow near the butterfly – absolutely exquisite Pam!!
Such a sweet, pretty card Pam, I love it!
This is just sweet all over, Pam! Delicate pink flowers on that gorgeous white embossed sweet pea panel — yes please! My hydrangeas are still in bud. They’re always blue here because of the soil.
Beautiful card. Love everything the embossing folder the pretty pink flowers yellow butterfly and the sentiment. We had quite a storm on Thursday lots of trees down, power out for 6 hour but no one hurt. So we survived.
What a pretty card Pam! So soft and elegant. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful! The delicate flowers and beautiful colors are very striking on your fancy b/g
