I heart YOU….

How sweet is this NEW Lula Big Heart!  Part of the December CC Designs Release!  I paper pieced her heart with Basic Grey pattern paper from the Eskimo Kisses 6×6 pattern paper pad.  The card base pattern paper is from the same collection but it’s  a piece from the 12×12 size.  Such a happy Swiss Pixies Lula!  The “I heart you” sentiment is from the new AmyR Stamps Heart-y Sayings set.  Martha Stewart heart border…Fiskars teeny heart punch (hand held paper boy type punch)…holly is from an old All Night Media border punch or the old Fiskars holly border punch has tiny holly leaves too.  Can’t find either one to link to though… sorry!  I love teeny stuff… sometimes I buy something I don’t like just because of a teeny part of it I want! lol

On the inside I used another piece of the Eskimo Kisses pattern paper from the 6×6 pad.  The heart and lacy border are the new Big Hearts die from the CC Designs Cutters December Release!  So cool!  They emboss a stitching line around it too!  No sentiment yet,  but I will use something from the Amy R Sentiment sets for Christmas.

Lula is stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink on Papertrey Ink select white card-stock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

Hair – E50, YR31, YR21, YR23

Face – E000, E00, E21 and R20 for the cheeks (this R20 is one I diluted with some R00 refill)

Dress and socks – B000, 00 and some light warm grays

Uniball white gel pen for the dots on the scallop heart and cheeks

I used the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge HERE

I used Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper because I saw the challenge on the Basic Grey Challenges blog was Anything Goes HERE

The Challenge at Wee Memories Challenge blog is Holiday HERE

Through the Night…

One of the new CC Designs Swiss Pixies… All Through the Night… I love her… so pretty…makes me want to go Christmas Caroling!  I love Christmas Carols!  Glad Tidings we bring, to you and your kin…good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year! So Fa la la la la! All Through the Night!

And one of the sentiments from the new Amy R Stamps Snowman Sayings set on the inside….

Linking up to the Everybody Art Challenge blog – Christmas Card is the theme… Shopping Our Stash Challenge blog wants to see Christmas or Winter related….Top Tip Tuesday Challenge blog they want to see more than one fold!

A couple side shots of the Front Panel Stair-step design – more on this style card on these posts, HERE and HERE.

I inked up the Stone Wall stamp and wiped away the butterflies, flower and grass, stamped it, inked it up again and wiped away then stamped with the stamp a ma jig to position them right the two images tight up against each other.  All I had to do was draw in a few lines then…I stamped a light dot pattern from Printworks with Pumice Stone Distress ink after I colored the wall with warm gray copics. The background sky is Chipped Sapphire Distress ink applied with the Tim Holtz ink blending tool on a craft sheet.  A few light spritzes with H2O and some teeny snowflakes and fine glass glitter from the Art Glittering System.  The snow on the trees is a Snow Marker from Marvy and a little fine glass glitter again.  The chipboard Christmas pieces are from K & Co. Brenda Walton Evergreen Icons.  The border piece inside is from K & Co. Elizabeth Brownd Visions of Christmas border pack.

Watch OUT!!!

Do you see what she’s hiding behind her back?  Snowball Laugh is playing tough gal today! lol  Good thing she’s so cute!  I colored and created a winter-ish scene for her to play in today.  CC Designs images… so fun!  I love this winter tree with just the perfect amount of snow  “globs”!   The Snowy Winter fence is perfect too.  I cut it all out, even the bits in-between the boards!  I was thinking last night while I was cutting all these out, that I should make a video on cutting out the fence…then I thought…no one would watch it! lol   I used white signo gel pen on her fluff and some E 50 copic marker.  I love the look of this white pen!  To bad you can’t see it! bah haha

Splat!  I told you to watch out!  I love this awesome set that Christine illustrated for us this month.  I paper pieced the puddle.  I used the Hattie, Stella and Rose 6×6 pad.  I linked to it below but it’s out of stock but it takes you to all the other MME pads that would all work up wonderfully!  The snowflakes are three sizes of Marvy Snowflake punches. The mittens dies are new for November from CC Designs also.  It’s fun how they’re made…very easy to piece different patterns together and add stitching.

It’s an easel card so I shot a couple side views… Laugh, the trees and fence are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Sketch Copic Markers.   Blue greens are  BG72, 75, 78.  Golds are YR21, 23, 24 and E99.  Hair is E50, E31, YR21 and 23.  Face is E000, 00, 01 and a diluted R20.  Fence is E43, 44, 47, 49.  Trees are BG93, 96, 99.

No snow here today… another beautiful day! yay!  Always some kind of weather, that’s for sure! : )    I did have fun coloring these images and hope you’ll be inspired to do some creating this week too!  I need to stay in the stamping and coloring “groove”!  I’m linking to the Sweet Stop Sketches Challenge blog – I was inspired by their sketch this week.  The ABC Challenge blog is up to D – wanting to see Dazzle… well,  my snow’s got glam!

Here’s the back!

This card-stock is really gold, not pumpkin!!! ugh!  I had this one little sentiment made up to add to the easel but I couldn’t decide where to put it,  so it’s on the back! lol  I love it though and it turns the Winter card into a Christmas card!

Hope she made you laugh and want to get stamping!  Thanks for stopping by and ttul!

Tree Trimmers Jilly and Daphne

The one time I strung cranberries and popcorn, I saved it.  It’s amazing!  It really does keep!  I still have the strings… it was a big deal…have any of you done it?

These cutie Fairwees are having fun and snacking at the same time!  Typical of kids…gotta eat all the time! lol  Tree Trimmers Jilly and Daphne are part of the CC Designs Sweet November October release.  Five adorable images and you can see what the ATS Design team gals did in the Tuesday October Review post on the ATS blog, HERE.

I was hoping you’d be able to see the sparkle on their dresses in this close up… I colored the dresses and wings with a clear Copic glitter pen.  I also colored the branches with copic markers so they wouldn’t just be a die cut.  Some little red berries and it’s festive!

The pattern paper I used is from a card pad that Michaels used to carry by K & Co.  It’s rather old…but I still like it!  The YG 61, 63 and 67 Copcs matched up great with it.  I used Always Artichoke card-stock from SU to cut the branches. The branches are a Marianne Designs die and I order mine from JoannaSheen.com.  Bakers twine from Martha Stewart… old too… the lighter weight stuff.

I’m linking my card to Marianne’s Design Divas Challenge blog… dying to die cut and  to Christmas Inspirations Challenge blog… use punches or die cuts.

Thanks for stopping by… be sure to stop by the ATS blog to see the other gals work…so charming!
