Birch Press Design Flower Cards…

A couple cards to share with you this week…unusual colors for me! Not sure but posting them anyway!  lol

Light pink and bright green!  Do they work?

I really like this plaid paper from the Memory Box Madras Plaid Blue and Violet 6×6 paper pad.

The flowers on this card are from the NEW Birch Press Design Eucalyptus Stem and Berries Contour Layers die set and the Tiny Tuft Flowers and LEaves Contour Layers die set.

Sentiment is Memory Box Just a Note Posh Script die cut in the NEW Memory Box Glossy Black cardstock and white cardstock.

Here I used Taylored Expressions Cupcake Pink cardstock and Bazzill Card Shoppe Easter Grass cardstock.

The flower and leaf in the corner are the NEW Birch Press Design Pimpernel Contour Layers die set.

I decided to use the NEW Memory Box Exquisite Leaf Frame die with it because the leaves are similar and I love this die anyway!  It’s so pretty!

The sentiment is from poppystamps Colorful Life stamp set and stamped with Taylored Expressions Cupcake Pink ink in the MISTI. It’s very subtle but I kinda like that for a change.

The berries are a bit bluer in real life…pretty sure it’s Taylored Expressions Cookie Monster cardstock and the flowers are Taylored Expressions Candy Corn cardstock.

Just a Note is a Mini Slimline card and the Wishing You strength card is an A2 size card. Both will mail for one forever postage stamp in the USA.

Thank you for coming to visit today!  More new stuff coming and I have some cute to share soon too!

poppystamps Potpourri Flower Set Cards…

Hi everyone!  I have a floral duo to share today.  Almost got off the kraft path but notice I managed to bring in some on one card! lol

I die cut a bunch of the NEW poppystamps Potpourri Flower Set dies and played around with different colors and ended up with a lot left over!

I used a stylus and old mouse pad to give the flower petals some poof and then added an enamel dot in the centers.

I used the NEW Memory Box Daisy Blossom Stem die for the some of the leaves on both.  The pink card has additional leaves from the NEW Memory Box Layered Impatiens die and Memory Box Seed Stems die.  I added white paint pen to the circles at the end of the stems.

I liked poppystamps Penelope Pinpoint Frame die for the background on the pink card and poppystamps Simple With Sympathy die for the sentiment.

Here I used poppystamps Lattice Plate die for the background, die cut in white cardstock and poppystamps New Freestyle Hugs die for the sentiment in black and vellum.

I didn’t get the lavender background panel captured very well for color so I tried holding up in the hallway! lol

It’s a pretty color IRL!

Well crazy here!  It snowed yesterday! It didn’t last though. It’s really not unusual as I think back.  One year in April I was headed back to where I grew up and got caught in a blizzard!  It did last! eek!  Not fun driving!

Some place it’s tropical right now! lol  Not here!  Have a beautiful weekend. Looking forward to celebrating and time with family.

ttul!

Hello Friend! Memory Box NEW Ruffled Blooms and More Card…

Everyone is all about flowers right now!  It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year! lol

I started with an A2 card base, I cut the Hello Friend shadow part of the die directly in the card base. Then cut the shadow in white and the outline in NEW Memory Box Glossy Black cardstock.  Love this stuff!   I very very lightly put a little Tombow Mono Multi glue on the top, bottom and side edges and inlaid it into the cardbase.  When you open the card you can see through and between some of the letters.  I like it!

I die cut the NEW Memory Box dies, Ruffled Blooms and Riverbank Large Layered Blooms, from the Memory Box 6×6 Fresh Aqua cardstock pad.

I die cut the New Memory Box Exquisite Leaf Set dies from the Memory Box 6×6 Lush Green cardstock pad.  The leaves in this die set are a must have!  So beautiful and good with all the flower dies!

I wasn’t quite sure where I was headed with this design but I love these colors and I’m really happy with how it turned out!  I will need to use an A6 envelope for presentation though because I left some petals and leaves over the edge a bit.

Pretty simple and all die cuts again!

Whimsical and you know I always love kraft!  The cardstock I use for kraft cardbases is from Hobby Lobby… their Extra Heavyweight cardstock.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a good rest of the week and a lovely Spring weekend!  Spring in Iowa means rain. (how come there’s not a let it rain sentiment like let it snow?! haha) So stay dry if you can! ha

Memory Box NEW Paisley Bloom Leaf Arch Card…

Hello friends!  So thankful for all my cardmaker friends everywhere! You make me smile a lot!

Simple card today….I die cut this new Paisley Bloom Leaf Arch die from watercolor paper and colored with the new Zig Clean Color Brush markers.  They are so pretty!

I used three arches for this card, three of the medium size flower and three of the small size flower.

I used watercolor paper for the A2 size panel that I inked with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and a mini ink blending tool. I stamped a couple sentiments around with the same ink from the NEW Memory Box Friends and Family stamp set. The center sentiment is stamped with Ranger Black Archival ink.

I used liquid glue to attach the three arches together and just on the circle to glue to the panel.  Then the flowers are glued just in the center to the wreath so I could ‘fluff’ the petals and leaves.

I added Memory Box small clear Fairy Drops, some Mayarts twine and glued the panel to a kraft color cardbase.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Holler if you have any questions!

Birch Press Design Flora Plate and Make a Wish Cards…

Hi everyone!  Yikes, it’s Thursday already!  I almost didn’t buy this NEW Saltwater Taffy ink color!  I caved and bought regular, regular refill and oxide.  Sometimes I think I need the sprays but maybe I could make a spray with the refill if I needed to make a mess! haha

I used the ink pad to color my cardstock.  Hammermill Color Copy Smooth 100# Cover is what I used for all the parts of this card. I use it some for copic coloring too.

I inked up two A2 panels, one with Saltwater Taffy and one with Abandoned Coral regular distress and blending brushes and or tools.  Then I did three smaller pieces with  Saltwater Taffy, Abandoned Coral and Bundled Sage.  You can pretty much tell what I die cut with what from my pictures.

I die cut the leaves in the same white from the NEW Memory Box Layered Impatiens die set and inked them up also.  I love these leaves!

The flowers were the waste from cutting layer A, they were white so I inked them too.

It’s a really pretty, feminine color and card in real life! I had to add some pinkish Memory Box Fairy Jewels to the flower centers.

I made this next card first to get a feel of how the layers looked together.  I hadn’t planned on finishing it at first because, weird colors! lol  Not Spring at all but I like it so I’m gonna throw one picture of it on here! lol

This is the Flora Plate layers AB and C again with a sentiment from the NEW Birch Press Design Kind Hearts stamp set.  This is such a gorgeous set!  I love it for front and inside sentiments.

Holler if you have any questions!  Both cards are A2 size.

Thanks for stopping by!
