When I saw this card in the NEW Memory Box idea book I wanted to make it! Penguin loving grandson here! What a festive guy!
I love how easy everything went together with these dies!
I embossed the Spiral Delight 3D Embossing folder and inked it with Distress Prize Ribbon first, a little Peacock Feathers in the center. Trimmed it down so the card would be A2 size.
Spattered it with white ink and then added some dots with the tube of Contour Toner White.
Die cut and glue up the ornament, penguin and sentiment. This was the fastest card I’ve made for some time! Ugh, I still need a sentiment inside and my name on the back though. haha
He’s a cutie! There are more penguins to choose from in this release too.
You’ve probably noticed I haven’t been posting a lot of Memory Box, poppystamps or Birch Press Design. Nothing came back in January for me to work with so here I am focusing a little more on cards that I need and will use.
A super close up although it feels like in editing to make it whiter I lose some of the depth!
This one is a little darker. lol I did go back and add some Black Soot Distress ink around the very edges.
I’m linking to some card challenges…

I hope you enjoyed this festive, swinging penguin! It’s cooling off here. I had to put my ferns from the front porch in the garage….now what to do with 7 ferns! I need a greenhouse!
I’ll finish this up and be back with more soon! Check out the NEW Birch Press Design Release, Starlitstudio has in HERE…

Here’s the products I used to make this card…

Adorable holiday card! The background design is fabulous. Love the cute penguin and beautiful ornaments. Sentiment dies that come with shadows are the best. MB has a wonderful collection of die cuts. Thanks for sharing with A Cut Above’s October Challenge.

Oh, no, I hope you get more Memory Box in the future. They were my favorites! I love this little guy hanging on the ornament. The embossed night sky is ink-liciously fabulous! Love this LOTS, Pam!
Your Penquin is adorable Pam. Love him swinging on the ornament. 🙂 Makes me so happy. Gorgeous background with the embossing and shading of blues and a little black. Definitely highlight the penguin and you can see the depth of the embossingin your photos. Great work! Thanks again for joining Jo and me at Christmas Kickstart this month! Loll xx
Your grandson will love this, Pam! What a super card, I love the penguin and the bauble, but your background and attention to detail makes it extra special. Thanks for playing at The Christmas Kickstart Challenge with Loll and me, Jo x
