Hi everyone! Yesterday while two of our granddaughters were here making cards, I started this NEW Bird House Pop Up Easel card. After supper and this morning I had to finish it and take pictures.
In my excitement to share it, I forgot the plan! I meant to put the new Memory Box Fairy Sugar Dewdrop on the snow! lol I will add it to the snow and berries on my card before I send it.
I have a lot of pictures to throw in this post. This is a super well thought out die set and goes together easily!
The only other die I used is the poppy Garden Leaves and Berries die. I die cut them in white cardstock and colored them with Copics to embellish the base sentiment.
I die cut the birdhouse piece in white cardstock and inked it with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink to give it an old birdhouse feel. I edged all the pieces with the same ink. Next time I will use Gathered Twigs though, that’s what I usually use with kraft. Vintage Photo was already out. lol
The cardinal die has embossed markings where the black piece and beak are. I just die cut it in red, a scrap of black and a scrap of gold, then trimmed out the black and gold and glued them on.
Here it is from the front again…
Here it is from the side…
Here it is flat, ready to go in the envelope…
Here I’m showing how easily it will fit into an A2 size envelope.
A perfect gift that can be mailed with one forever stamp but treasured for years because of this easel fun fold!
I want to play with it and jazz it up some more! lol This was going to just be my prototype but I ended up carrying on and finishing it, well, except for the Fairy Sugar! ugh. lol
I’m also thinking it will make super cute ornaments! I’m all about Christmas tree ornaments. lol
Thanks for clicking over and holler if you have any questions!
Here’s shopping links for the dies and stamps I used…

I love cardinals and absolutely LOVE your card Pam!!! So many dies come with this set – I had no idea!!
Linked here from the Poppystamps store for some inspiration with this die set. I just bought it yesterday at my LSS and wondered if anyone had done a video on using the various pieces. Instead I found your beautiful card – just love it!! Looks great even without your planned sparkle. My card is in pieces all over my craft table – hope it turns out as nice as yours!!
Yes! This is an amazing card indeed! So creative!
