3 Letterboard Cards…

Hi everyone!  Did you see the Splitcoast Stampers recent email talking about Letterboard cards? oh, I keep calling them this but I think the email called them Marque cards. Here’s the tutorial!

My first one is a birthday card for our oldest grandson.  I used an old alphabet die set from Quickutz called Diesel.  The birthday wishes postal circle is from Inkadinkado.

I will link up a bunch of alternative, similar alphabet die sets in my linkdeli collection at the end of the post.  They would all make awesome cards like this too!

This one is ¼ of an inch taller than a regular A2 card.  I mailed it in an A7 envelope.

The little bit of coloring is with Copics.

The next one is the card I made for Tim/husband.  Four family birthdays in January! Two more to go! hehe

This one I used a different alphabet.  It’s Parker from Memory Box. (my link below is to Parker lower case, upper isn’t available anymore)  The little candle is from a Quickutz die set and the heart was on my desk.

I scored lines this time with my scor-pal instead of making ¼ inch strips and foam mounting tape like I did for the others.

Harder to see the scored lines in that picture…

There you can see them again.  This card is A2 size and the cardbase is Cookie Monster cardstock from Taylored Expressions.

Glossy Accents on the candle and heart.

My third cards are thank yous!  I need several right now!  ❤

I really had fun with this card style… but I quit for now because I need to do other stuff! lol

This is Quickutz Diesel alphabet again.  The heart is from Honeybee Stamps.

The red and black cardstocks are from Taylored Expressions also.  The envelopes I made for these is a digital cut from Kerri Bradford.com.  I cut them on the Scan and Cut cm350.   I’ve been experimenting to use it more!  yay!  It’s like a coin envelope style… I should’ve taken a better picture of just the envelopes.  You can find it HERE.

A2 size and I used two Pool notecards from Memory Box for the card bases.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I’ll be back real soon with another Reverse Confetti card, then more Memory Box and poppystamps coming your way! Hope the new year is finding you with time to make.  I can’t believe this month is almost history!  :O

$5 off code for SSS right now is LVEYU842  (good ’til 3/1)

  1. Oh what great cards! I need to make some like that! I have several alphabet die sets, just don’t seem to use them….maybe now I will! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I’ve been admiring these cards, Pam! Perfect for so many occasions, guys or gals, depending upon how you design them. Then I went off looking at TE and then at letter sets… sheesh. I should have looked sooner for those blending brushes. The whole reason I want them is because they’d look so pretty in their caddy on my desk!

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
