poppystamps Happy Birthday Card…

Hi everyone! Every once in awhile I’m inspired to use something from my stash….so don’t shoot me because today I’m using a die that is no more!  poppystamps Happy Birthday Melody.

I stapled it on with the tiny attacher stapler.

The word belated is from a Lawn Fawn stamp set that I stamped… I love how it turned out.

Some washi tape on the background piece and an old canvas looking background stamped in black.

This is not your normal cardstock!  A gal from stamp club brought this and gave it to us… It’s chipboard like.  So fun and it just adds more to the masculine feel of the card.

An A2 size, clean and simple card that just came together with stuff from my stash!  yay!

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back with more birthday cards… I can’t show yet because I don’t want the peeps to see them before they receive them!  hehe

We’re celebrating Winter here in Iowa with a snowstorm that’s living up to the forecast!  Sorry to the ppl that need to go places! Take care!  ❤

  1. I’m loving that you use your stash! I have to do that a lot – in fact I have some really old stamps and dies that I want to keep using forever! This is a great card, Pam!!! I need to make a few birthday cards before we leave next week. Eeks!!! Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. Really like the die – I have a problem of not wanting to get “rid” of some of my favorite dies. Love the way you attached it with your tiny stapler. Great idea. Trying to use some of my stash as well – but hard to do when you keep gettingmore stuff. LOL

  3. I would never complain about any die you use! Didn’t know this one is retired, but shouldn’t be surprised because PS and MB retire dies quickly. I’m not getting rid of it; it’s one of my favorites! Now I see another reason why I need that tiny attacher. What a great idea for skinny lines like this. Pretty sure I have that same background stamp. The chipboard-esque cardstock is cool, especially for a masculine card!

  4. What a cute card Pam! I have lots of things in my stash that if I went through I could probably make several cards….I just never think about it! Thanks for the reminder!

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
