Hi everyone!  Welcome to my blog post for the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Party!  You’re invited to join the fun…visit all the blogs linked on the Simon Says Stamp blog HERE!  Click to shop and use your code choice to receive an exclusive gift (several options) with your order!  How awesome is that!!!

I have two cards to share with you today using the NEW exclusive SSS stamp set, Your Greatest Dreams.  I love the variety of scripts used and beautiful quotes and sayings!

I couldn’t resist using this one with the SSS Picture Book Snowman!

When I started looking through my SSS stamp and die sets and saw this cute guy and the snowflakes I thought of Frosty!

I created a background by white heat embossing the Lots of Snowflakes stamp set and inking it with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and the mini ink blending tool.

I had to give him a heart. lol  I die cut him in white, colored the parts with Copic Sketch markers and edged his body with Tumbled Glass ink also.

My next card uses another sentiment from the same new set…

What a good reminder to enjoy every day!  As I’m writing this post it’s storming and raining but it’s too late to go out in the rain!  I’m tired! lol

Here I white heat embossed one of the clouds from the SSS Cloudy Sky’s stamp set multiple times.  Then stamped one of the outline stamps from the same set with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and die cut them with the coordinating die set.  I masked off the area for the sentiment and using the mini ink blending tool, I blended on Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink over the clouds and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink on the bottom.

Isn’t that a gorgeous script though!  I love it!

A clean and simple card with a powerful sentiment/reminder!

Thank you so much for visiting my party blog post today! Enjoy the rest of the party stops! What fun!

  1. Fantastic cards – they are so pretty! I love your snowman one, with all the little details, and the black label sentiment looks fantastic on that lovely blue inked background.

  2. Love those sentiments. I really like how you put the large one on the front of the card; I tend to reserve those for the insides only for some reason. Beautiful projects!

  3. A happy Christmas card. I’m so excited about this blog hop, and the wonderful designers sharing their talent. Great new Products, too.

  4. What a fun card. It would also be great embossed with Hero Arts puffy white embossing powder for more dimension.

  5. I knew you’d do amazing with whatever they sent you, and you sure did! I’m totally in love with adorable Frosty and the perfect sentiment with him. Love that the snowflakes have a botanical look to them. Kinda leafy. Don’t know if that’s intentional. Your second card is cleverly designed, too, with the heat embossed clouds on the base and the die cut clouds layered over. Green grass on the ground and space for the perkily-scripted sentiment. These little things show your creative mind at work and it’s awesome!

  6. I love snowmen! I love how they can be for Christmas like Frosty or just for winter because its snow. Yours is so cute! I love the sentiment with the clouds. I have a big cloud stencil that would look good with. I like how you did the cloud one with the sentiment because I could sort of make a card like that one. I don’t have a die cutter but I have my stencil. Do you mind if I copy that card?

  7. I really like both of your cards! I like the little flourishes in the some of the clouds. It’s pouring rain where you are? We live in a rain forest area, but this year we haven’t had rain since May & we have so many forest fires.

  8. Frosty is, of course, just adorable. But I also really like your use of the clouds with that wonderful up-beat dancing in the rain message. That would be a fabulous card for the right person at the right time…

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
