Last week I was playing around with stamps to make wreaths. I die cut a 3 ¾ inch circle, stuck the negative in the MISTI, marked the area where the first image kinda landed and then I kept moving my inner circle focal piece around to stamp the complete wreath.
Here’s a picture that might possibly live up to the saying, a picture is worth a thousand words! lol
I did have to mask off part of one to fill in a space.
I colored/painted the flowers with Distress Oxide inks. I don’t know that I would use this ink to color very often. It tends to cover the black line you stamped if you’re not careful.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I used the coordinating die set to cut out the word sending. I did use the thin mounting tape behind the die cut word. Another set I love!
A little Lawn Fawn Trimmings twine and some black Nuvo drops and the piece was pretty much done. I cut a black piece of card-stock to 4 x 5 ¼ inch and mounted it to a top folding A2 card-base.

This card I stamped it the same way in the MISTI with the circle template I made but I stamped it so the black lines touched. There was a little bit of space left at the bottom so I punched a couple 1/8th inch holes, added a piece of ribbon and tied a bow.
This one I colored with Zig Clean Color Brush pens doing wet on wet. You can see what happens with that in the close up below! lol It flows! No artist here! lol
I didn’t use a very good quality watercolor paper…just use the good stuff Pam! haha
The sentiment is from a neat Memory Box set called Prayers Sentiments…I really like how you can put the words together to say what you want. There are several of these small sets. Good deal! ok – I’ll shut up!

Loving this wreath concept with a single stamp!!! Hope you’re having a great week Pam!!
These are both beautiful, Pam! What a great idea to make your own wreath and stretch your stamps!
I love stamping wreaths and this one is really nice. Great idea for some of those smaller stamps.
Well, I’ll be! I keep a wish list folder in my bookmarks and this set and matching dies is in it. I was just over at Cindy’s looking at it today, and now here it is. I’m waiting till I use more of my other new stuff. Sometimes things are growing old by the time I buy them, but if I still buy them it means I love them a lot, and I do love this set, especially because it has lots of very useful sentiments with it. So cute what you did with it — both cards. One popping on the black and one sweet with the pink. Good to know about watercoloring with the oxide inks which I still have not yet purchased. Thanks, Pam!
Love both of your cards and your wreath idea. Good for you! That Misti is becoming a wonderful tool.
Love your cards so much, I had to go and order this set. Thanks for your beautiful inspiration.
Beautiful cards!!!
Love both coloring of the wreath, both so sweet!
Pam both cards are super lovely. Setting up and stamping a wreath from non-wreath stamps is totally difficult and it looks like you mastered it. Thanks so much for sharing your Wreath cards with us for the “All Occasions Anything Goes” Challenge at Watercooler Wednesday this week.
These are both so pretty! Wonderful takes on the inspiration photo!
Wow…..Thanks for joining us at Crafting from the Heart Challenge Blog. Good luck!

WOW! I love both of these! What a fantastic idea too! I have a Misti and don’t use it as often as I should. I may have to pull it out now!
Both your flower wreaths are fantastic, Pam! Thanks for showing how you made the magic happen with the MISTI! You put a lot of love and time into these precious cards!! Thank you for playing at Inspired By All the Little Things! Hugs, Darnell
Oh what pretty cards Pam! They are both so pretty! 🙂
How creatively you’ve used your Misti, Pam! I love the floral wreaths on those two cards. They’re absolutely perfect! Great choices for your colours, too. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday challenge this week.
Fabulous card Pam I love the flower wreath, have to try this with the Misti, so pretty.
What a lovely pair of cards Pam and I particularly love the bold impact the first one makes. Thanks for sharing how you created your gorgeous wreath
Thanks for sharing with us at ATSM and I hope you will join us again soon.

Oh how pretty – love both cards – and the little bow on the last one just completes it.
I love that wreath on the black card base. It really makes the colors pop. Thanks too for the tutorial. Your second card is darling as well.
What pretty cards! I love that you show how you made the wreath. I really do have a soft spot for flower wreaths.
Oh you clever thing you!! I’ve been playing around with wreath making in the MISTI too! Too bad we can’t play together!! 🙂 These are really pretty! Love the colors!
Gorgeous card Pam! It’s so pretty and beautifully stamped.

Really lovely cards! They’re very pretty. Thank you for joining us at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge – Charlotte/Lady Joyful, DT
Wow, that flower image is great and love how you stamped it in circle. Thank you for joining our previous Challenge and would like to invite you back to our current Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I would like to leave you with one of the greatest verses in the Scripture from Romans 5:8 which says, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Have a wonderful day!
