How’d it get to be August already?! Here’s some of the birthday cards I made in July…
An older Penny Black stamp, watercolored with the Zig Clean Color Brush Pens HERE… love them! (Free shipping coupon code for August w/$80 order – AUG888)
Linking my kitty card to the Seize the Birthday Challenge – topping option embossing.
So much personality in these images! Next up an older Penny Black Frog stamp…done up the same way.
Just makes you smile! I matted all the cards with the Perfect Layers Tools… link over in the sidebar.
On the inside of both of these cards with balloons, I stamped the Printworks sentiment E2628 E.E. Cummings – it says “and up with joy and up with laughing”.
So cute! I would never touch one in real life! lol
A Flower card with Paper Smooches Flower stamp, vase die HERE and Printworks sentiments on the front and inside…
You can find this woodgrain cardstock at CutCardstock.com HERE. They have it in three colors, this dark brown, kraft and white. Their shipping is FAST! I just ordered metallic gold and silver on Friday and there is a box on my front porch and I think it’s from them! YAY!
Stitched Rectangles are cut with the Lawn Fawn sets HERE and HERE.
Happy Birthday stamp HERE…
and the inside the stamp, Though Everyone HERE.
The next card is the Memory Box happy die from the Open Studio set HERE on a watercolor background I painted with Peerless Watercolors HERE. The little birthday sentiment is from a poppystamps clear stamp set HERE. I put water on the watercolor paper first, then painted in the colors. The panel is cut with the Memory Box Cross Stitched Frame die set HERE.
Coming this Thursday is the Taylored Expressions August Release Day. I’ll be back with some cards then! Sneak Peeks from the TE Bakers Dozen are up on the blog starting today.
