Taylored Expressions August Release Day…

PamSparksDaisiesFrameThursday

Hello!  A bouquet of daisies for you today.  This is a new set from Taylored Expressions called Simply Daisies.  It’s a big stamp set, large and small flowers and sentiments and a set of matching dies.

I stamped the daisies and leaves with the MISTI.  I used multiple colors of chalk ink from the Colorbox Queue pads.  I love how fall-ish the colors turned out and how crisp the white looks with them.

A new embossing folder called Weathered.  I have to try sanding it and inking it next!

The daisies set has three small flowers in the set too…here I just used one of the small stamps and stamped in Ranger Archival black ink on watercolor paper and painted with Peerless watercolors. Then die cut the flowers.

I was going for a gerber daisy look.  I love the font Taylor used for the sentiments too.

I couldn’t decide what photo to use… here’s a white background too.  : )

  1. These are just BEAUTIFUL Pam!! I love the pretty soft springy colors of the first one, and yet they look equally lovely in the bright bold colors!!

  2. Your cards are awesome Pam! Lovin’ those large yellow daisies against that gorgeous blue embossed background. Love how you tucked in all the leaves. Great layout too!
Lovin’ the bold sentiment. Great pop of color with the small daisies! Love how you tied everything together on the center panel. Another great layout!!!
So very nicely done on both! Thanks so much for sharing with us!!!

  3. Pam these are so pretty and also the earlier ones you posted. Sorry I haven’t been very good with the comments, we have two bridges to cross to get to our house from the road and one is out of commission so I’ve been a little pre-occupied. Always love your cards. hugs, Ruth Ann

  4. All of the cards are awesome – I like the one with the three colored daisies the best with the watercolor look. This would be a nice set to have – there is always something I want – LOL

  5. What beautiful cards Pam! I love how you made beautiful daisy cards with wonderful colors and texture. As for the Gerber daisy card you nailed it! Both daisies cards have a 3D effect, as though the daisies are tempting me to pick them off your cards and put them in a vase…so sweet! Thanks for sharing Pam!

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
