Birthday cards and giveaway!

Hi everyone! Sharing a couple birthday cards today and…

Cindy from Starlitstudio.net set me up with an extra cutie Birdie Brown, Warm Wishes stamp and die set by Torico (MFT) to give away!  YAY!  So leave a comment and I’ll post the winner in my next post!

Here’s my card with it…

She’s so cute!  love her!  I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. Her dress, scarf, socks are the RV11, 13, 14, 17, 19 series.

The sentiment on the front and the one on the inside are stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I used the Perfect Layering Mini Rulers and mat to make the 1/16th inch black mat.  Link in the sidebar!  Be sure to use my code for a great deal going on right now!  10% off and free priority shipping with a $30 order!

The pattern paper is the 6×6 Crush paper pad by Authentique and the pierced rectangle die is from MFT.

Then I have a card to share that I made for our oldest grandson who just turned 15, ( wow! time flies) using the NEW Memory Box die, Steampunk CornerI cut it twice from some pattern paper by Basic Grey and glued them down with Tombow Mono Multi glue… just little dots here and there.

  1. Oh my…..you just seem to grow my ‘wish list’ by leaps and bounds! Love the sweet Birdie Brown set, and your grandson’s card is just perfect! Well done, dear friend!

  2. Pam, I adore this little girl!! She is so cute. I would Love love love to win her. Took one look and fell in love.
On the inside of a card with her you could put, “May my Love keep you warm.” 😉
    XO Nana April

  3. OMGosh…I was just sitting here going thru your previous blog posts. I’m so far behind. We have had awful medical issues with my Hubby already this year! Very, very stressing time!!!
So, I won’t comment on your previous posts; just know that I love your work and enjoy your blog so much! Hope you are keeping warm too!
Your card is just stinkin’ cute! I love the sentiments and that little girl is just adorable. I love your choice of patterned paper. Those little flowers are just so delicate looking. Just adorable!
Your steampunk card is really cool. I have a hard time with masculine cards . Those gears are really cool. So very nicely done Pam!
    Thanks for sharing with us!!!

  4. Oh, I would love to win this set but I would almost rather win the card from an artist who has brightened so many of my days. And I cannot believe E is 15–yikes!!!

  5. Absolutely darling Birdie Brown set…just as cute as can be (and with judicious masking the sentiments can be used in a warmer climate like my home state of Arizona – LOVE it). I am in awe of your grandson’s card with that fabulous Memory Box die – thanks so much for that inspiration (I have an engineer DH and an engineer/robotic geek DS, plus a steampunk-loving sister and HER steampunk-loving youngest daughter…can’t wait to try this look). Thank you for the chance to win the Birdie Brown stamp set and coordinating die.

  6. Oooooh what a cute cute card! I You colored the little girl so beautifully! Love the blue background and the pretty paper too! The card for your grandson is soooo fabulous for a boy!! I have such a hard time with boy cards. I’ll bet he loves it!!

  7. What a darling card!! The way you colored Birdie Brown reminds me so much of my granddaughter! Would love to win this set so I could use it create cards and layouts for her! Thank you so much for the chance to!

  8. Hey Pam….I know long time hearing from me. I have had some health issues but hopefully I can get back to commenting now. How cute the Birdie Brown card is. And the one for your grandson is one that my sons would love. I love them both. Hugs, joann

  9. OMGoodness! How adorable is this Birdie Brown Set, Torico. I love the Pierced Rectangle Die, on the the pretty blue paper, from your Crush paper pad; and oh yes, I need to get the The Perfect Layering Mini Rulers and Mat…a must have. Also, I just love, love, love your grandson’s steampunk card you made for him. You have out did yourself on this card…a keepsake for sure! It is so difficult for me at times to come up with a design for a male card, but I can always count on you Pam, for inspiration.Your cards are amazing! The Memory box Steampunk Corner is also a must have.

  10. Please keep the good ideas coming! This time of year I need all the inspiration I can get as I am feeling pretty well stuck and soooo boring.

  11. Clever card. Always enjoy your great card ideas. In looking at the die itself it looks like it could be used alone for a baby shower. Betty

  12. I’m so in awe of you and your talent. I’m in my 60s and got a late start with cards. I love seeing them and wish I had the talent you do them as you do. I try and try with my coloring but it doesn’t get there. I wonder if you would one day answer questions from us about how we can improve??? I know you have limited time but it would be your kindness that would help others grow. Your cards are wonderful and you give such detail about how you do them but sitting at home without the items entails a big expense to get everything you use, which I know is why you partially do the cards. Any suggestions about what other things we could substitute for this amazing die+ set? Thanks for sharing your talent with those of us who are not so much.

  13. Great card for a 15 year old. I must be getting old since I remember when he was just a tyke !!! The other card is gorgeous, just like always !!!

  14. Each card is a true gem, Pam! The Warm Wishes stamps and die would be perfect for making cards during our cold, snowy winter days! She looks adorable in red, with the background papers you chose. Such a sweetie! ♡

  15. Oh, these are both just darling! LOVE the cute stamp & die set!! And your grandson’s card is awesome! I bet he will be excited when he sees it! Beautiful papers on both cards!

  16. That is the cutest winter stamp ever! You did a great job with it on your card AND that is an awesome guy card. Well done.

  17. Oh my! What a cute stamp and die set! I love the colors you used and that paper is so gorgeous!…….New items added to my list! LOL! The card for your grandson is great! What a great masculine card!

  18. What a little sweetie Pam! Hard to relate here on the west coast-the temp is over 60 degrees! Very odd weather for sure! It is usually Oregon buried under the snow! I am sure your Grandson will treasure his Gwamma card!!!

  19. Adorable card and love the stamp set. I ordered another version of that stamp from My Favorite Stamps recently. Good for ideas. Thanks

  20. I’ve got one of the first gears stamps that came out! They look so much better, believe me! I love it when a stamp set comes with a die for it also. Makes things a lot easier! But believe me, I’m still hand cutting some things!

  21. Oh how cute is Birdie Brown – I think she would be very comfortable living with me as I have several MFT stamps and she would just fit right in. LOL Darling card. I’m not usually a steam punky type of person but love the card you made for your grandson. Perfect for a teen. We are buried under snow, then ice, and more snow on top of that so there is not much else to do except stay in and stamp – darn. We had a girls craft weekend planned but was rescheduled due to the weather. Keeping fingers crossed.

  22. Very cute card! It is snowing away here so it was appropriate that I am seeing this card right now. I am not sure I have any of the girls from MFT but I do have a snowman that is really cute. Thank you for the giveaway! Thanks for sharing.

    Katie B.

  23. Both cards are excellent! I love the sweetness of the little girl in the snow. The card with the gears really caught my attention because I have sons and it is always a challenge to make ‘boy’ cards. You made a very pleasing masculine card which I’m sure your grandson loved.

  24. Hi Pam, Susie here. Thank you so much for your visit to my blog, Summerwalk Designs. I am delighted to visit here for the first time. I love that fact we grandmothers can make the transition from sweet BBrown to Steampunk (she smiles) in one blog post don’t you? Both cards are as grand, and as different as can be. I happen to be a huge Birdie Brown fan so winning this stamp and die set would be wonderful.

  25. Adorable! She reminds me of when I was a little girl growing up in WI. Thanks for the chance to win her cuteness! And thanks to Cindy for sharing her.

  26. How adorable Pam…..Love this little girl…would so love to have her as we all would. But of course I love all of your wonderful creations.

  27. Your first card is so charming and your coloring is really beautiful! Great masculine card for your grandson, too! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at ATSM!

  28. Love them both Pam! However that masculine card for your grandson is so striking! The colors came together wonderfully! I am sure he will love it. Thanks for sharing your talents with us at Seize the Birthday!

  29. Now that little gal is CUTE! Looks like a sweet real child (no mumps cheeks or big head like some others!) I would love to win her since that is probably the only way I’d be able to get one.

  30. OMG Pam….I so love what you did with the darling little girl…because of you..I MUST have her. Running to Starlistudio now..BTW…Cindy is adorable…so sweet. What a lovely gal to do business with. Happy Easter to you.
