I colored Tilda with Distress Ink refills.  I am still playing around with these… trying to figure out what works for me.  I ended up using Tattered Rose and Tea dye for her skin… I know, everyone else uses Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo. ugh… the vintage photo really goes yellow on me.  YES, her cheeks got way toooo big on me!  You aren’t supposed to notice! hahahahahahahaha Well, they aren’t near this dark IRL.    I’m not going to give up on them yet… I keep going back and trying again! lol

The pattern paper set I used is Winterberry from Memory Box.  Perfect Layers Tools to mat the main image… link in the right sidebar.

  1. Tee hee…if you were out there skating in those teensy clothes, your cheeks would be VERY red too! What an adorable card – the fence finishes it off beautifully. Coloring with distress inks suits you! Great card, Pam – thanks for sharing 🙂

  2. Ice Tilda is so sweet … I just love the way you color!! Love the backdrop of snowy hills with trees – perfect. Loll xx

  3. Absolutely gorgeous! And I happen to LOVE her cheeks! You did an amazing job with the coloring & she looks like she could just skate out of the card at any moment. The background papers were perfect for her!

  6. I dont think her cheeks are too big. Its too cold outside so that’s why so red.

  7. What a super-adorable card, Pam!! I think she is colored to perfection — and her checks look like she’s been outside in the Iowa cold, just like they are supposed to! That paper is ideal for your little scene!!
